I find it very difficult to close the circle of a magic ring, but very easy to close a slip knot which has been chained and joined to create a ring. I don't know what I'm doing wrong in closing the circle of a magic ring, if you can help. Thank you.
I’m lefthanded,and there is no way I could hold my hook in the right hand. But it’s not a problem. I watch right hand videos all the time, don’t have to flip the videos or anything. I can just watch what the right handed person is doing, and do the same with my left. Maybe in the very very beginning, this was hard, but there are many videos of basic stitches and that stuff that is made for lefthanded. To tell someone who is lefthanded that you should crochet with the right hand will probably set them back even more.

Most people think that cotton gets too heavy for blankets, so I felt it was best to steer beginners away from it.
