Facinating breakdown: the most in-depth and detailed analysis ive seen. It absolutely is a daunting task to try to tackle. Bravo Sir, i look forward to hearing more if you manage to attempt it.
Im not a fan of true patriot(partly because nobody knows how to use it correctly in any content) but immediate damage boosts that work with everyone with some additive damage reduction on the side definitely has its strengths. But on another note, Survivability department stays winning💪
I believe TP grants the damage buff when the red flag spins on your shoulder, the damage debuff on blue, and armor Regen on white. If all three flags are applied on the particular target being fired upon (it worked with Pesti ticks pre TU5) then you get all the benefits. So if one starts firing when it is white, you only get armor regen. So, depending on which flag is on your shoulder at the start of you firing on target, without the chest piece, you could wait up to 4-6 seconds until it spins to red and you apply the damage buff. Having said that, I run TP with my Chameleon on my lvl 30 toon.given my general accuracy rate, I find the additional mag size really helps with getting to the first buff (crit/reload/weapon damage) before I get to the third mag. In general heroic content, if running TP in its original blue primary attribute, the explosion is kinda handy at spawn points, as it is based on your armor value (not enemy one as listed). Back in the day, peeps used to run TP with EB in the DZ.
Stellar work as always, and all this info reinforces my belief that Red Cores need to be fundamentally changed to add flat damage to better balance them vs Blue. I understand why they are % based because it makes the math and balancing easier on paper, but in practice it just leads to "pure damage" builds being sub optimal at best save for long range snipers in a PvE situation where you're staying way in the back and not getting hit much anyway. The other problem is of course the removal of stat requirements for talents and the ability to just roll whatever stats you want regardless of the slot but again this is all hypothetical what if stuff that likely won't come into play until Heartland or Div 3, unless the upcoming Endgame Rework changes things. I am kind of curious now to test out how my armor regen setup holds up in the DZ - by the way, does Expertise just stack with other weapon damage sources? I keep getting conflicting answers on whether or not it is a direct increase to the base damage of a weapon or simply just more WD%
@@fogowar2022 Thank you for clearing that up I suspected as much but couldn't get any clear answers. I suppose it would have been easy enough to test myself running no Reds but I greatly appreciate it all the same. It's a shame it doesn't boost base damage but that would be so horrendously unbalanced lol. I do still hope they at least try to address the problem of Red Cores just being straight up inferior - I strongly believe the best solution is to change Reds to flat damage added.
Overkill applies to survivability too. Probably even more so. Not really for PVP but definitely for PVE. A 5th or 6th red core might be underpowered in comparison but if you're never using your 5th/6th armour core, they're worth nothing.
FoW - Your most recent video, Return to PvP is fantastic. On a complete different subject, I believe you're in the UK, right? In my 31 years in U.S. Navy, I use to pull into Portmouth often and take a train to London. Got to learn and understand many British slang terms/words. Anyway, I'm watching a Netflix series directed by Guy Ritchie (The Gentlemen). It's an excellent series but, I find myself pausing and looking up slang I don't understand the meaning - especially of the Pikeys. Languages evolve constantly.
That is off topic. Great Netflix series, I love Guy Ritchie stuff and have to say, some of the best TV I've watched in a while. I'm an Aussie. Serving Army.
Nice video, I don't really do PVP but made a 6 blue build (+1 Weapon Core +1 Skill tier - NB backpack) with 60%CHC and 115%CHD with the Ouroboros with 2.1M Armor and 1.7M health and unbreakable, would that be effective in PVP?
Curious to see if/how this changes for conflict since there are no longer watch levels or expertise. So 35% less base damage, 10% less cc, 20% less chd. Also armor and various gun stats. Do red cores gain any more traction in this scenario?
You are correct, red cores are "more valuable" when you are running in Conflict but in PVP, blue cores are still more valuable. My next video planned is for Conflict builds.
PvP in Div2 has turned into an Ouroboros only mode. And it's so bad that even I noticed after just getting into PvP a couple weeks ago. I just get melted. I've tried all reds, all blues, hybrid, stacks, no stacks, and I end up losing almost always. I'm 1500+ SHD level with 15% expertise on weapons. So I either need an Ouro, or the perfect build, or 100% accuracy with 500% CC and 20000% CD...
bro you switch build too much. you need to stick with a build that you comfortable and get good with it . build your pvp skill and confident . then try different build . you don’t need ouro to pvp. my recommendation would be 4blue 2 red with unbreakble. and a decent AR to start practice .
Great info. It's interesting red cores {yellows too) are nerfed for "balance" reasons, while it's really just eliminating so many fun possibilities and creating these cookie cutter builds that are then iced with toxic cheating. The DZ could have been so much more fun. Will they correct this in Div 2's future or Div 3 or is this just industry standards and here to stay...
I'm not sure what the difference is but Div 1 PVP was so much more fun. I think it's the low TTK and how much RNG, rather than skill, that determines fights. It sucks to get coward punched and be unable to recover.
Hello, I'd like to see some buff applied to the bighorn. It's a weapon that I love, but it fell too far behind. What would you suggest to make BH get closer to the other ARs?
I think any buff would probably make it OP. Handling or a larger mag size. But both of those you can build for. Headshots are hard. That's the only thing holding it back.
not counting health damage stat on rifles, does armor and health receive the same amount of damage. it always seems people take more health damage. that 300k health seems to go down faster than 300k of armor.
The only Unbreakable chestpiece I had in my stash, that wasn't Zero F's. You can work it out from the video but I'm going to hold off providing the full details for a little while, until I've done a bit more testing.
it's just complicated. However, in real "mixed operation" more weapon damage seems to be more dangerous. since fewer cartridges with high energy do significantly more damage. There is movement in the game and you don't hit a whole magazine on the head. Unfortunately, many fraudsters compensate for this with aim assistance. cheater
It is complicated. But you must have missed the comparison, because a single bullet from a 6 blue build, takes more HP% from a 6 red than the other way around. Are you saying that I was cheating? Or just in general there are cheaters?
