Welp, I'll be getting a 1. Good luck guys.
+Tyler Smith lol same
Tyler Smith how'd you do?
👀👀👀
same my self esteem has gone down
Tyler Smith cmon man it's been three years, give us an update. Did you do well on the test? Did you get into the college you wanted to get into?
I haven't taken a Physics class in 2 years, but I woke up this morning with the "FLIPPING PHYSICS" jingle in my head.
So proud, I am.
HAHAHA same
I've religiously watched your AP Physics 1 videos all year, and I just recently learned I got a 4 on the exam! Thank you for literally saving my life in this class.
You are welcome. Glad to know you are happy with your test results. I hope you can continue learning physics (and continue to use my videos to do so!)
Hello! I know you’ve commented this 6 years ago and might not remember any of it but do you think I’ll be able to pull this class off online as a 10 grade student? My school doesn’t offer any physics classes so I’m thinking of taking an AP one online
@@Soomeon_e I think so! I handled it well as a 10th grader myself when I wrote the original comment :) If you’re willing to work at understanding the mechanisms then you’ll do great. These videos still are such good resources!
@@paigejohnson3291 i also would like to ask: which youtubers have helped you the most? My physics teacher hasn't really been teaching us things that preciesely and I would like to know what kinds of videos on the internet could help me understand physics better. Thanks
@@kronikz_2210 I pretty much survived off FlippingPhysics for AP 1 and the textbook/random videos I could find for AP 2.
12 hours left until that exam...I have learned more from these videos than an entire year in the class
How did you do?
Did you do well on the exam??
Mines tomorrow!! How did yours go?
@@ee-ch1py brotha this was 5 years ago, this dude probably has a wife and kids and never needed to use his credits in college to succeed.
You don't know how much this means to me. Your videos helped me so much when I needed them most. I owe my life to you you beautiful thing....
PengyGoy Thanks! I don't know if I have ever been called a "beautiful thing" before. Quite nice.
Flipping Physics ur adorable!!!😍
@@sanskritidutta he's a snack
studying the day before the AP Test smh
Yeah im about to get a 1
+jordandoan2 shoot for this 5 and accept whatever you get
+jordandoan2 "It is, what it is, trust me you get what you give" - Drake
Yeah
I’m studying ten minutes before lmao
A 12 minute video taught me more than my teacher in over a month of school.
Thank you so much for these videos. I’m currently watching them before my exam tomorrow! The reviews really help me!
Best of luck today!
I find the 4-character, one man act very entertaining although this is good info. Thanks!
You are welcome! Good luck Tuesday!
I've probably watched all of these now. I'm taking both the AP 1 and 2 exam this year, so I needed to quickly review both! This is a godsend!
Charity V You are welcome. Good luck on *both* exams!
good luck tomorrow yall gotta get that bread
Maanya Gulati thanks
needed this
thank you even a year later
same
thanks brotha wish me luck
i think im gonna get a 5 tomorrow. 5 points total lmao
so what'd you get lmao, its been two years
lmao yeh what did u get
He failed and started a fortnite channel
7:45 equations and variables
8:07 equation tip
9:03 projectile motion chart
Thank you so much, I appreciate the fact that you have basically taught my physics class for the entire year!
You are welcome. Sounds like you have spent some quality time with Billy, Bobby and Bo. I hope you have learned well!
Thank you so much! I thought I needed to review pretty much my entire Physics 1 unit in about 1-2 days and your videos helped me out so much! You even have videos on the lessons I'm weakest in so that will be very very helpful. Thank you so much!!!
The first in my set of AP Physics 1 review videos. Enjoy! Thank you to Jeremy West who provided Billy with a new bow tie for today’s video. Billy is very appreciative. #PhysicsED #flipclass #APPhysics1
Flipping Physics Thank you so much the test is tomorrow this was a great video god bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck today!!
thanks! It went okay!
Went? What country are you in?
Singapore
A friend recommended your channel, I can’t thank you enough! These videos are going to be excellent help studying for the AP exam!
Who else is binge watching these before the AP exam Tuesday? 😁😂
+Alexandria McCarthy I'm guessing you are probably alone. Most people studied consistently all year and are bowling instead. 🙃
+Flipping Physics no she is not haha I'm just aiming for a 3 :)
+Ramzy Abu-Ramadan What? Is nobody bowling currently?
+Flipping Physics no I'm hitting the gym at 2 though
+Ramzy Abu-Ramadan Good idea. I should do that.
Just came to pop back into this video series. Just wanted to say thanks for your review series for Physics 1, as it really helped a lot on my test back in May. These really made a difference in how I performed, and I'm really grateful for the work you do. Keep it up!
You are certainly welcome. Thanks for coming back to say thanks; that is lovely of you. Perhaps my AP Physics C: Mechanics videos will be helpful to you when you take more physics? www.flippingphysics.com/ap-physics-c-review.html
Are we all bingeing before the test tommorrow
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:29 *📚 Remember the difference between vectors and scalars; vectors have magnitude and direction, while scalars only have magnitude.*
01:01 *📐 When dealing with vectors, remember to resolve them into their components, and be mindful of the angle theta.*
02:43 *🚗 Understand the distinction between distance and displacement; distance is scalar, while displacement is vector and includes direction.*
03:28 *📊 Learn the relationship between motion graphs; slope of position-time graph gives velocity, slope of velocity-time graph gives acceleration, and areas have specific interpretations.*
04:38 *🔄 Interpret motion from graphs; horizontal line on acceleration-time graph indicates constant acceleration, while changes in velocity and position indicate free-fall.*
05:46 *🌍 Understand concepts of free-fall and acceleration due to gravity in physics, including the value of acceleration on Earth.*
06:55 *📝 Familiarize with uniformly accelerated motion equations; recognize variables and equations, including one not explicitly stated on the equation sheet.*
08:35 *🎯 Approach projectile motion problems by separating known variables into x and y components and applying relevant equations, considering acceleration due to gravity.*
10:21 *🎯 Qualitatively understand the concept of center of mass in physics; no need for quantitative problem-solving, but grasp its significance in motion analysis.*

Andy Cuzco hows it going?
Binging right before the exam. Let’s go!
These videos are my new favorite thing. It's not just a lecture! It's a frickin production- the characters are my favorite. Thank you. I might be laughing because of sleep deprivation from late-night studying - but also I was not expecting there to be characters!!!! THANK YOU!!!! ALSO TO OTHER EXAM TAKERS TOMORROW: GOOD LUCK
+Shir Kalati You are welcome. I've spent a lot of time with my "characters" over the past 3 years. It's been a fun adventure. Good luck today!!
Dude.... best explanation video for students preparing for a test ever, you get straight to the point while also explaining the important videos, hopefully I’ll do well on my first test!
Best of luck to you on _all_ your tests!
Your video saved my grade in physics. I am definitely recommending you to my friends because we all are struggling. Thanks for making this channel!!!
+Destiny Villa You are welcome. Thanks for your recommendation!
These videos are awesome, you are able to make this both entertaining and educational at the same time!
Thank you for your videos! I appreciate the amount of time and effort you've put in!
I love physics! My school doesn't offer AP Physics but I'm studying to take the exam because I want to take more advanced classes in quantum and theoretical mechanics in college. My dream job is to become a scientific journalist. I want to be able to make science interesting for people who aren't scientifically inclined. It's funny, because I really don't like math, but I love math when it is applied to science (it showed in my grades too, I only did okay in my math classes but I always got A's in science). Thank you so much Flipping Physics for helping me learn something I am passionate about!
Hey there I'm also studying AP physics by myself cuz my school doesn't offer AP courses. I don't know u but ur dream job and purpose sounds amazing, just wanna tell u that u r awesome and I'm sure u will become a really good scientist! Good luck!!
+Maia Lund
hey hi
pleasE i want you to advice me on AP physics class.
i want to take IT FOR MY JUNIOR YEAR
AND HOW TOUGH IS IT.
THanks
Well I haven't taken the class, I'm learning it on my own. If you are really interested in physics and are willing to dedicate yourself to understanding the concepts, it isn't hard. I imagine it would be hard for those who have struggled in Algebra and dislike sciences, because it's a very algebra heavy course. But don't decide not to take it just because you aren't the best at math. I was never great at math but I've been successful in learning physics because I understand math better when applied to concrete, tangible things. So if you are really interested in the course, I say go for it!
I'm so happy I found this channel! Just made test review way more engaging :)
Awesome! Thank you!
watched a bunch of these videos before the exam and they helped, cause even a week ago i thought i was totally screwed, but the exam wasn't quite as horrible as i thought. thank you!!
I love the style of this video! And it's very informative, thank you
You are welcome. Glad to help you learn.
Very excellent lesson and wow! these videos must take a long time to make and edit.
Thanks for the effort; the strategy keeps me completely attentive.
Andy Jin Yes, they do take a long time make and edit. However, it is time well spent because "the strategy keeps [the learner] completely attentive." Your comment makes me happy!
Your intro is addicting, definitely earned the sub
Just wanted to voice some candid appreciation. You rock! Thanks so much.
You are welcome!
Beautiful way of teaching . You are also fastforwarding and saving lot of time. Excellent way to make understand the concepts. Kudos.
Thanks. "Beautiful way of teaching" is a nice compliment.
Thank you so much! I'm struggling to keep up in my AP Physics 1 class and this video really helped!
+Steven To You are welcome. Keep working at it; it gets better as you get more used to the physics way of looking at the world.
Thank you for the lesson. It's much easier to review more than ever!
WOW!!!!!! I knew most of the stuff but you just made Physics a whole lot more interesting, thanks a lot
Glad to help!
This is a fantastic & well-structured "DAY 1 Lecture" in any basic Newtonian physics class. Well done, Sir!
thank you so much for these videos!!! you have probably saved my grade in AP physics
You are totally rad, dude. Thanks for all of your help, I'd be failing without you.
You're the only reason I got a 3 on the test when I had a D in the class. You have no idea how much I am grateful for that.
I am sorry to hear you received a D in your physics class, however, it does make me happy to learn you were able to get a 3 on the AP exam!
watching these for 2020!
You are the best physics teacher ever!! You deserve more views and subscribers! Keep going, we love you!
Thank you for the love! I will do my best to keep going. You can help out too!

Great video!! I used this for a review when entering Electricity and Magnetism in my physics 2 course. So much help thanks!
You are welcome!
Awesome videos! Fellas always remember work with variables first before number
welcome to the last minute cram for the 2019 AP physics exam! Good Luck Guys :)
we still got some time left, dont worry
Louie C lol like 5 days😭😭😭😭😭😭
When you're cramming these videos on the day OF the test... RIP.
I love these videos. So entertaining! The AP Physics 1 June exam grind begins.
Just over one fortnight away...
Bro this video was done so well, 6 years later still good!
I appreciate that!
This is great! Taking the Physics 1 AP in three days. I loved the 5,4,3,2,1 deal. Thanks for helping the nervous wrecks of the world out for this exam!
Mrdenverfan01 Yeah, I was pretty excited when I realized the UAM count down bit. It took me a while to figure out what we would have 1 of, clearly it wasn't answer. "Happy Physics Student!" ended up being the most fun.
I’m so surprised your most viewed video has only 582k views…you deserve millions of views and subscribes! I really appreciate your work!
Thanks. The reality is that the RUclips algorithm does not really support straight up educational content like mine. It's a bummer.
Another excellent review video by Flipping Physics. Thank you
Very welcome!
I just got my score and got a 5! Can’t believe it! Thanks for the great videos - these were all I used to study🙏
I'm taking Physics 1 and I'm in dire help the exam is in 4 days!!! I hope this will help!

*Starts studying 15 hours before exam*
dude.
Yeah, I kind of passed out after my chemistry exam.. Anyway quick question, are significant figures a thing in AP physics? I know they're a major part of the Chemistry, but we haven't really ever used them in our physics class.
they haven't been important in past exams
S t a r t s s t u d y i n g d u r i n g t h e e x a m.
Leave it to me to binge watch this playlist the day before the exam. If I somehow pass, it's because of you!!
Best of luck to you!!
and so my ap physics journey begins
Oh boy. Not for the 2021 exam I hope...

extremely helpful, good review and understanding for a test tomorrow👍👍
I hope it goes/is going/went well!
on the velocity as a function of time graph, why wouldn't the velocity increase after reaching zero, since the object is accelerating downward after it's peak on the Displacement graph?
It would be lovely if the person who translated the captions of this video to Turkish could contact me. I would enjoy being able to say "Thank You!" and give them credit.
My teacher is good, I just have a really hard time focusing in class and my teacher is a little bit strict about not going over info he's already covered, so these videos give me an opportunity to relearn the info I need before the exam. Also great videos with a great sense of humor!
Bummer you are having a difficult time focusing in class, however, I am glad I've been able to be there for you. Best of luck tomorrow!
I'm not doing anything AP related, taking a first semester College Physics class and your videos are really awesome review!
That's great! Are you aware I have a lot more than just review videos?
flippingphysics.com/algebra.html
Yes! These videos are very helpful. I have a pretty decent Professor but the textbook isn't that great and I prefer to watch your videos.
Thanks man, this is exactly what I was looking for. Pray for me, I'm taking it tomorrow. :S

I just watched all videos. Good luck everyone on the exam tomorrow.
Did you also "like" all the videos? That would be lovely.
Also, you don't need luck. You just need to breathe and enjoy the exam!
