    Hello! I am preparing for AP Physics C Mechanics and these videos are helping a lot to relieve stress before I start the class in three days. Thank you very much :)

      How is the class? I'm signed up for Phys I but I want to take C in the spring. I know calc I just want to know if C is a lot harder or basically the same, but with calc.

      @@ladyofawesome8572 AP Physics C is very difficult because my teachers makes tests 80% of the grade without curves from AP questions with the time constraints. However, if you study regularly (9-10 hours a week including weekends), and have a teacher who curves grades then you should have no problem!

    I've been bingeing the AP Physics 1 playlist all day, and everything I've watched up til now was from 9 years ago, so coming up on this vid from 2 months ago was a trip. All 4 of you are remarkably the same! I'm a little concerned that Billy, Bobby, and Bo haven't progressed in their studies though /s.
    Fr tho, it blows my mind that this channel doesn't have a ginormous following. Thank you for all you do, Mr. P.

      @@FlippingPhysicsI took a new job where I have to understand phased arrays & beamforming & satellites, so my YT learning-time is occupied, but once I figure it out, I’ll be back! I can’t wait to get to the E&M playlist!!!

    Dont we take g as 9.8 m/s^2 instead of 10 ?

    • @FlippingPhysics
      @FlippingPhysics  10 месяцев назад +1

      On the AP Physics exams you are allowed use 10 for g.
      It just makes all the calculations easier.

    At the end you say there are sometimes small errors on the physics exam when you talk about the height at 11:45. Is this why I get a slightly different answer if I use the equation in 2a for #2 (the first part)? You get an answer of 1.1m/s but the equation gives me 1.3m/s. Is that normal or am I doing it wrong?

    • @FlippingPhysics
      @FlippingPhysics  8 месяцев назад

      You get the same answer (1.1 m/s and not 1.3 m/s) if you plug the numbers from #2 in to the equation from #2a.

      @@FlippingPhysics I checked it on mathway and see the answer is the same. But I KEEP getting 1.3 on my calculator and it's driving me insane. I can't seem to type it in right, I guess? Kind of an embarrassing problem to be having.

    • @TheDedloc
      @TheDedloc 8 месяцев назад

      yea I dont get it. Even when I break the problem down piece by piece and plug the numbers in to the calculator I still get 1.3. It's not even an option for a common mistake lol so I'm just gonna pick the closes option to it... yolo.

    • @TheDedloc
      @TheDedloc 8 месяцев назад

      This is the error. On mathway when I put in 2.9645/2(1.2) I get 1.235. On the calculator I get 1.7787. I like cant use brackets. Even though it's the exact same thing I am typing in on mathway. I have no clue why it is wanting to do this but it's driving me insane. Obviously it's throwing the notation off somewhere but even when I try and correct it I still get the same answers. I just have to divide by 2.4 to make it work. I cant do 2(1.2) It doesn't like it.

      Also thank you for the review and response. I take my final tomorrow and I hope it helps me!
