CHVRCHES VS DEPECHE MODE- Just Can't Get The Clearest Blue

- I've been told I sound a bit like Dave Gahan and a huge fan of both Depeche Mode and Chvrches. When I heard Clearest Blue, the drop reminded me a bit of Just Can't Get Enough; Needless to say, I couldn't resist recording this. Hope you guys enjoy! :)

I swear, these two should do a concert together, their music is so compatible.
Gregory Hancock Chvrches opened up for DM for some dates in Europe on the Delta Machine tour in the summer of 2013.
I listened to it 3 times before I realized the Depeche Mode vocals were YOU! You are incredible.

Absolutely nailed this. Every time I hear "Clearest Blue", I think of "Just Can't Get Enough". I think I've seen this before, but today this blew me away. You nailed the cover, and your incorporation of Chvrches' lyrics was seamless. Bravo! :)
Fantastic!! I recently got into Chvrches and could hear the Old Depeche Mode and Erasure influences. Was reading comments on Clearest Blue and everyone was saying how it was Just Can't Get Enough. While I could hear where the commentators got the idea, the song was unique enough to be its own sound. After hearing your mix, I just can't get enough of how well you mixed the two. Great work on the mix and vocals!

I heard Depeche Mode as soon as I heard Clearest Blue.
I hear OLD Depeche Mode when I hear a lot of their music... Not the new drivel that DM produces but the old 80s to VERY early 90s stuff... I find myself really enjoying Chvrches because it's like hearing the type of music DM could (dare I say should) be producing now days but sadly does not...
Xanovia Scents ...Sadly, Alan Wilder is not with them anymore and they changed so much into a Rock band... they are still producing very good music but, they are a different band now, ...In my opinion they have lost their unique sound when Alan left.
Depeche mode and Chvrches gotta do this live. I think Depeche mode are touring again - someone tweet them

What an awesome seamless transition this would make between their sets. Monumental to pull it off and I would not envy the stage hands, but worth it...
Come to think of it, the synchopated beat accents in the crescensdo are also reminiscent of the start of Halo.

AMAZING! I discovered Chvrches from the Song Exploder Podcast and in there they actually play the rifs separately and it obvious this was right out of 'just can't get enough'. Love both bands, this is brilliant. Thanks!!

I love the bass voice of the lead singer of Depeche Mode, Dave Gahan. Some awesome bass male musicians that I like are Hozier, Bastille, George Ezra, Jack Antonoff, Chad Kroeger, Chris Daughtry and Duran Duran member who sings Save a Prayer.
