Heyyy.. from india started watching ur videos from the s23ultra teardown. Ig u were the first channel to show the new battery pouch on Samsung devices... Congrats on 100k 🎊
Congrats on 100K, keep on and make more videos like this! I appreciate Samsung finally adopted the easy pull tape to change the battery more easily, I hope one day they will bring back the replaceable battery feature! (EU law forces them to have, if they are not willing to bring it back, looking forward for that day)
I have just subscribed to your channel. You are doing an impressive job. So calmly removing all those tiny parts and putting them back together. You should have been studying for surgeon :D However, you do the same thing in the smartphone world. Put the "patient" on the table and do your magic:) Keep doing what you do. You deserve all those subscribers. Wish you to hit 1M soon.
Is it possible to completely remove the 5G antenna in the Samsung S23 or any other top level phone, or at least disable it assuming that it's separate from the 4g antenna (yes I am aware that one can simply turn it off in the connections settings). Thank you for your excellent work and hopefully, answering my question, Brian
Tbh I didn't think about it much back then but... where would placing one of those phone coolers be the most efficient. I see that they made the vapor chamber larger than before because the S23 was a more gaming type. But there's nothing on the backplate which could maximize that cooling potential... Lol I'd say placing the cooler directly beside the cameras so it directly cools the logic board and the chipset
Congratulations on archiving 100k subscribers. Your videos deserve much more views that they actually get. RUclips algorithms just don’t work very well. I guess many more people are interested in the early teardowns of these important phones of the years, such as the S23 series. I have heard that the RUclips algorithms nowadays depend a lot on comments and likes. Maybe you can consider doing some giveaways that require subscription and comment. Many other RUclipsrs are doing that to play with the RUclips algorithms. Doing giveaways once or twice a year will not impact your production budget too much, but that will make your channel community much more engaged, and hopefully improve your ad revenue.
Passa anos e a samsung, mesmo sendo a maior vendedora de smartphones do mundo, ainda não consegue deixar sua parte interna (hardware) tão perfeita quanto a Apple.
Better, much easier to repair. Designed so owner not have to pay Apple. Parts plentiful. iPhone runs hotter than Samsung so gaming not as good, because Apple not have proper sized copper vapor chamber😂😅
I have a separate video I did a long time ago on adhesive installation and you can watch my how to replace the screen and back on s24 ultra video to see how its generally done.
i made a sputid mistake and pushed the sim slot extract pin to microphone hole. i wonder if i damaged the water resistant mesh on the hole. it seems on this video mesh is not directly positioned perpendicular to the hole but rather horizontal after hole makes 90 degree turn to the actual mic. if its what i think it is water mesh on my phone should be still intact. i hope.
Your question doesn't seem to make sense. Each camera can be changed yes, but by the same exact replacement. If you are asking if they can swap places, then no they cant.
I accidentally poked in the hole between the sim tray and type c port.. I've tested the mic and it works.. do you think that the water resiatance aspect is affected.. it kinda felt like something squishy when i pressed initially..
I miss the old LG phones like the V10 v20 you could you could replace anything on that without a heat gun without prying it was all screws you can replace the motherboard in 5 minutes... you didn't hardly have to even be careful you just pull screws out and slap it in there and you're good to go!
of course I do, I just don't do it for the video since there is no point to waist time on things like that for video footage when people will just skip it anyways. After the video I have to take it apart again, clean it and make sure I replace the adhesive n so forth.
Hi! I accidentally poked and pushed force on the mic hole of my S23+, thinking that it's the SIM eject hole. Is it just fine? I'm wondering if I poked on some internal hardware or if I damaged the microphone. Thanks.
@@PBKreviews thank you sir for reply I am have compact size phone sumsung s23 by mistake I poked on microphone hole I felt like I poked on rubber if you don't mind Please can you explain about hole thing properly please
Damn even with the added pull tab, it's still a tough battery to pull out. 😐 I think the best method for replacing a screen just by going through the front, would be to un-stick the screen's flex cable from the back of the screen, and then plug it in. Then just place down the screen and the flex cable will fold into position (possibly even re-sticking to the back of the screen). This is how the screen was installed on a bunch of sony and other models.
Yup, that's how it should be done but doesn't always go in perfectly or sometimes people tug really hard while pulling off the screen that the cable tears or gets damaged. It would be better of the flex cable was an extension like on the the pixel phones or so forth where you can lift up the screen and have enough leverage to carefully disconnect the cable and reconnect the replacement.
I'm an owner of 22Ultra, and compared to 23U, the biggest change is the camera, would it be possible to swap the cameras and add the main one from 23U to the 22U?
how the fuc* the microphones (the two holes at the bottom next to the sim card tray) didn't damage when my son stuck a sharp pin into them repeatedly, someone explain!!
Why is it so much heavier than s22 plus? My friend just bought one and i was surprised by its weight. I have the s22 plus. And both have the same battery and s22 has a bigger screen. I can't see why the s23 fe is heavier
nice.. been waiting for this.. i already pre ordered this phone.. coming from rog phone 2.. i lost trust and confidence on rog phones that's why im going back to sammy..
So the heat dissipation is way better than the regular s23, but is it that bad on the s23, they said most of the s23 did not have a copper chamber. I was wanting to but the s23 to save some money, but i think better to buy the s23 plus, more durable, better in game, what do u think ?
@@PBKreviews Hi, OK, its because ive tryed in Shop, in game, and the s23 was little bit hotter than the plus, and in my contry its winter, 5°, so i dont know if it will manage good at 40° in summer, you are in the us ?
The graphite pad still does the job for the most part, but yeah not sure why they choose to go that route instead of thermal paste. Maybe since thermal paste dries up overtime where as the thermal pad will last much longer.

Hello I have a galaxy s23 plus and I was wondering how long will it take to change the antenna and the back on it?
He is so good at this, I watch all videos 😊
Thank you :)
If I remove it like that, will it still be waterproof or should I replace it or should I apply glue to the edge? Thanks a lot 6:37
Awesome tutorials 👌 👍💯

to the point, no - nonsense and unnecessary jokes

is the haptics of the S23 plus better than s22 plus? or is it the same haptic motor?
I haven't seen the motor itself but I have not noticed a difference in the haptics so it is possible its the same.
Thanks for sharing. Very detailed. Do you know what audio DAC is used? Would be helpful to know for us audioheads.

Great teardown again. Concise and right to the point.
How would you rate its durability? Maybe compared to Oneplus?
Thanks & Keep it up!
Thanks! I would say it's more durable than OnePlus. The frame alone is more sturdy.

Soo i kinda messed up and poked the mic hole next to the sim tray.Do you think i did any damage ?İs waterproofing safe aswell ?
You will be fine, since both the mic and filter are seated above the hole and will not be damaged.
@@PBKreviews thank you so much man.Thats a relief
what's the recessed spot on the right side of the phone, under the buttons?
Probably for mmwave antenna for US variant
Can each individual camera be easily changed. Or are the pins different for each one

Does thermal heat improve on s23plus compare to s22plus?
yep, last gen only S22ULTRA had Vapor Chamber, all S23 do have it
Do a q & a . Congrats on the milestone.

When i shake my s23 it makes a rattle sound near the camera is this normal i got it used it still works fine tho
yeah its normal, just the camera assembly with OIS (optical image stabilization).
So there's only 2 microphones in s23 plus. I was told that there is another microphone below the 1st camera module.
2 below and 1 at the top

9 for repairability, what about the RAM and the CPU if you want to fix it ?
Well those are not user replaceable in any phone. They are soldered to the main board.
