Your point about no damage numbers on screen is a really good one. This was released a week or so after Suicide Squad and the UIs between the two games couldn't be more different. When the UI reliable tells you everything you need to know, you stop paying attention to the actual environment, and I think that's why by reducing the info the UI can tell player, the environment has to do it and it's so much more immersive. Strangely enough this has been a debate in World of Warcraft recently where addons tell players so much now that they don't need to actually pay attention to the action as much as just watch the UI to know them they need to do something.

actually the same thought in regards to call of duty zombies, the moment they put damage numbers and health bars, it lost its charm and it feels like shooting the zombies just to kill it, and not slowly see the limbs taken out and be satisfied when they finally die
I guess thats why Elden Ring felt so refreshing and immersive. Because there was not a bunch of UI elements and markers on the screen telling you exactly where to go and exactly what to do and a minimap cluttered with so many objectives. Instead, youre just thrown into this expansive world and you arent told what to do and are given minimal clues and hints and every challenge you decide to face is on your own terms. And when you travel across the world, youre actually travelling across the world, not mindlessly running to the next objective. When you do come across a side quest, it feels so organic too.
@@AWESOMESENSthe game's engine was discontinued in 2019(?) but it's the one that they used for HD1 and they wanted to stick with it. They're familiar with it and it's obvious they are with expansion as they've been able to allow. Game can definitely be demanding at high graphics; that's for sure. They have commented on optimization and further bug fixes are coming. Obviously people getting booted or having runtime issues is a much lower priority to not being able to even play the game. With AAA studios making games for shareholders these days it's no surprise that passionate indie devs, making games with the intent of them being fun, are selling like crazy.
Helldivers 2 is a PLAYSTATION STUDIOS game. "HELLDIVERS is a trademark of SONY INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT LLC" (this is info that's available to the public. Sony owns the Helldivers IP). The developer is Arrowhead Studios (they are a "Double A" studio, not an indie) but they are being financially funded by Sony for Helldivers 2 and Sony is also publishing the game. The funding and publishing from Sony (who has the biggest "triple A" console) and Sony owning the trademark to the Helldivers IP is why Helldivers 2 has a PLAYSTATION STUDIOS logo slapped on it and why the game is exclusive to Playstation 5 and PC only.
I firmly believe this is the result of a talented company with creative integrity. So many studios have the talent, but not the management who allow this kind of directed creativity.
4:00 This is a major point here, and they do it perfectly well by showing you the armor and bits of flesh falling off to show even more weakpoints, its just great. Shows that you dont need DPS numbers and all this crazy HUD elements for a game to be generally enjoyable and even still understandable on a "meta" level on if your doing good DMG/Surviving more hits etc. Great game i really am excited to see what more they do soon with the game!
I've always hated damage numbers. They just clutter everything and make games way less immersive. There are exactions, though. I kinda like them in Risk of Rain 2. It's just funny dealing 100 Damage with a regular attack, that triggers an on-hit item chain that's ends up with several 100k Damage. But yeah shooting things in Helldivers just feels great. Way better than watching damage numbers and a health bar.
I love the fact that every single player is part of the team. You even share the looted samples and the other currencies. I have not experienced such a dynamic in a game before. I'm hooked and extremely happy for the devs!
Things get even crazier when you start making use of the reload backpacks with some support weapons. If someone loads for you when the weapon has a backpack it triples reload speed.
After not playing destiny 2 for about 6 years I got all nostalgic last weekend and bought the latest two DLCS only to see everyone on a destiny group on fb saying this game pisses all over it🤦😆
One of the slept on features in this game is the grind. The progression in this game is one of if they most balanced I’ve ever seen. In most games you have to put in a stupid amount of hours just to get certain items and rewards. Playing helldivers you can rank up faster if you play higher difficulty. It’s great to have a game that’s fun and have rewarding progression without sacrificing hundreds or thousands of hours of your life.
Going to difficulty 7-8-9 to get a rapid progression in a few stressful really difficult missions and dialing it back a bit for more relaxed gameplay while still progressing noticeable is such good design.
@@MartinTraXAAThis comment made me buy the game. I love challenging content and being rewarded for it is even better. Most games simply increase drop rates which are still luck based.
@@samueldaniels8415 It's also satisfying that higher difficulty doesn't mean you feel weak or nerfed. A shot that kills a scavenger bug on difficulty 1 will kill a scavenger bug on difficulty 9. There's just gonna be a LOT more bugs and BIGGER bugs as you go higher, instead of a bigger health-bar. Also hoping their idea of a Game Master (almost like in D&D) influencing the game will really ramp up the experience.
A super citizen of I ever heard of one! Keep up the good work by being an exemplary model of what a Helldiver should strive to be! Now get back out there soldier and keep bringing managed democracy to the Terminid scum and Automaton scourge!!!
Is there an element of strategy and tactics? Or is it just 'pre-fabricated' effects and set piece animation? Has anyone played the same level twice and had different outcomes? Genuine question. I sincerely want this game to be as good as first impressions suggest. I'm just worried that it will turn out to be a flash-in-the-pan moment. The gamers' prayer: Please be good, just once, please be good with no conditions, like it used to be haha
I think its successful because its just a real game. No monetization, no P2W, no bullshit. Just straight up fun. They focused on the fun aspect rather than profits. Been playing with my mates and we haven't had this much fun since Halo Reach and GoW 2-3. Even playing with randoms has been a blast. Hats of to the devs and i hope they continue down the path they are on now.
I also love that it's not too much of a grind. You can get to level 20 and unlock all of the strategems in under 40 hours just by playing the game naturally. It feels great.
Having an absolute blast with Helldivers. It brings back OG left for dead vibes with friends and randoms too! Both different types of coop games but the level of fun from a coop game is unmatched
Speaking of Left 4 Dead... How does no coop game apart of Valve games have the great functionality of the "Take a Break" button that lets a bot take over for you while you're gone? It's insane to me that it's been over 10 years and you just can't take a break if you have to do something real quick, especially with having to unlock stuff where you'd even loose progress when leaving. Just noticed that the other day when a friend had to take 3 calls during a round - over 10 years but important QoL features that help entire teams are still lacking in most games somehow.
Left 4 Dead 2 was the first thing I thought of, too. I still play that game to this day. The industry moving back towards that era of games would be beautiful to behold.
Agree 100%, you actually get it. It’s nice to see a big hitter like you actually understanding the game. Just enjoy it and have a blast with your friends!
If the first game is any example... after a few war campaigns we'll gain access to fighting the Illuminate, gain access to vehicle call down stratagems, and the aliens will get a new category of soldiers... if Bile Titans are heavies, I can't wait to see what Super Heavies are going to be that we require calling down four person tanks.
Railgun on HD1 does little damage to tank bug but stun them for the next 5-7 sec. With that stun, hell can be unleashed to them. Also, the railgun can actually help mates from certain death. So many times a tank bug charge toward a teammate and I was able to save them by stunning the tank bug.
@@cro3757 not necessarily. I use sickle as my main. Priority strategem. 1 static, 1 jump suit, and 2 REC-16. Usually i put static in the middle for arena. Railgun can only stun the tank down and must follow by an antitank weapon. Railgun also have limited ammo (4) and when multismall enemies come close, it's funerable. So most veterans will have to be good with pistol to get the small quitters. I do use railgun/rumbler loadout too but if no one use it, I will.
See alot of people talking about one shot a bile titan in unsafe mode, I only use the railgun in safe mode and still take out Titans with one shot to the mouth, so no need to use it in unsafe mode imo. But it's fun to play with it in unsafe I can agree.
I knew this was going to be a fun game when I first saw a trailer for it, but never in my imagination would I have thought it would pop off like this, too the point where almost every single content creator I’ve watched has covered it. It’s super surreal and awesome at the same time.

@@Blue-fm2pk That's... Not the point I was making at all... The third person crosshair beyond the circle that tells us (roughly) where are shots are going, is an obnoxiously large rounded triangle for all intents and purposes even when they aren't converged. The new laser rifle I give a little leeway to because it's a smaller crosshair than on the Senator or the beam rifle. And it doesn't spin like it does on the beam rifle.
I think the lack of damage numbers and the visual damage does a lot more than just give visual appeal. It also contributes to the horror. One thing I love about this game is how epic and confident and self assured it is, especially with the music, until you get down on the ground then the music changes and the atmosphere takes on an almost horror vibe. When you've got a heavy machine gun and a big bug or a metal tank is coming at you and you're unloading 200 rounds into it and it's still coming at you despite having it's arse blow off an its guts hanging out it's fucking terrifying. Then it finally collapses at your feet just as your last round leaves your barrel. It's just awesome in so many ways
I nearly didn’t get it because it has no PvP like other live services such as Destiny, but then shortly after playing it myself I realised it just doesn’t need the PvP and if anything it’s actually better for it. There’s a special wholesomeness about this game and I love how it’s both challenging and also doesn’t take itself too seriously and has genuine humour. Let’s bring organised peace and democracy to these alien scum my brothers.
Its so refreshing to just have a good, honest, no BS, reasonably priced game in 2024. Proof that you don't need boardrooms of suited executives projecting what kind of game will sell the most copies and push up their bottom line etc.
I am an old rider, I played video games for the better part of the last three decades, so I can remember of the industry before greed and corporate practices took over. Helldivers 2 is one of the rare breed of games that reminds me of that time. Back then ppl were passionate about making games first and profit was just something that a good game brought in naturally. HD2 proves this too! Less is sometimes more... It's just so ironic when a 40-dollar indie game wiped the floor with the AAAA mess that Ubisoft calls a "game" and costs almost double.
Same, been playing PC games since the early 90s and its hard to put my finger on exactly what but this game just *feels* (and partly aesthetically looks) like a game from that early 00s era where you just bought a game, installed it, had fun and that was it. Almost none of the "luggage" that typically comes with modern games. Nearly 200 hours in and it still feels fresh and fun to me.
Nah, clown vomit colour schemes is a big chunk of what's wrong with character designs these days. It ends up busy as hell, all over the place and no clue what it's meant to be there for.
@@hallowedbeyourdays I don't necessarily disagree with you, but there's a way to do it without overdoing it. I don't think there needs to be 1,000 colors. Just some base colors so your armor can match, just the armor nothing else.
Theres stealth mechanics if you equip thw scout armor on page 7 of the battle pass you can crawl right up to/in a bas3 to throw a really precise strategem
The lack of damage numbers and enemy health bars is SUCH a breath of fresh air. I 100% support your point of view on the pros of excluding that kind of feature.
I went into the game cold. I had no idea what the game was, but I've been seeing a bunch of posts about how good it is, so I bit. I can't stop playing. The game hits way above its weight class, without a doubt.
I was recommended this game by a friend, and I decided to look for some gameplay and found this video. I love the look of everything in this, can definitely see myself purchasing it in the future. Nothing sells me on a shooter more than being able to SEE the damage and deterioration of your enemies with your gunfire.
I liked the first Helldivers, but the jump from the top-down perspective to this 3rd and 1st person was really well done. There were 3 enemy factions in the first one, so The Illuminate will be "revealed" in the next few months and possibly a fourth in Q4 2024. What I definitely miss are the gun upgrades.
Outrageously good indeed! I'm already 165 hours in and maxed out everything! I even learned R.slips, medals, samples are capped haha. Only thing left to do is changing, learning new strategies and tactics on how to take on the enemies in different ways. Why? For Freedom, Liberty and Democracy, of course!
Love all the subtle and not so subtle nods to film and gaming history in this game. From Starship Troopers to an ancient Atari/Arcade game called Berzerk.

It’s already so good, and now there’s rumors we’re getting mechs? I’m going to be playing this for a loooong time.
After about 5 hours played I bought the Deluxe upgrade and I am absolutely considering buying some of the premium currency. Not that I need it thanks to battle pass. I seriously just want to show my utmost respect and support to Arrowhead. Genuinely can´t remember the last time live service game made me happy this much.
This year has been great for fun smaller games like this. First The year started off with Lethal Company. Then as that started to die down Plaworld was introduced. Now Helldivers 2. It's a great year for games and I hope this trend keeps up.
Something not mentioned...I think there's an added level of fun playing with the PS5 controller. They really did good with the haptics. If you have the opportunity to use it, I think its worth trying it.
Exactly. Last time we went out to eat at buffalo wild wings it was $113 without drinks. Sh*t is wild these days. Much better off making your own wings and staying in these days. Less time traveling more time gaming with friends. ❤
I've been hearing about this a lot and had no idea what it was about. Now I see it's basically Starship Troopers with cooler outfits. Might have to pick this up.
This game is an absolute home run. 10/10. What improvements I'd want are only because I'm excited by the potential. It's been so difficult to prize me away from my staples (WZ, Football Manager) but I'm finding that this is the go to. Play it alone, jump in with randoms, play with friends, go easy, go hard, the flexibility this game brings and the challenge of the harder difficulties really gives this an edge.
The first Helldivers was such an amazing game, it's great to see how well the devs have done at transferring the exact same vibes, quality of gameplay and hilarity from a top-down arcade shooter to a 1P/3P action shooter. Seeing how successful the sequel is becoming is so satisfying
It's so refreshing to see a game just focusing on good gameplay and being fun! I can see this game turning in something really huge with future updates, it seems that developers have everything really well thought and know what they're doing. Just imagine bigger battles with more simultaneous players, like 32 players against a big horde of bugs commanded by a bug queen, just pure bullet chaos!
I’ve had the most fun playing on pc with Lethal Company and Helldivers 2 since I was a freshman in high school. Idk what it is about these games, but they’ve been able to bring back that smile that I got playing wildlands and squad with my friends before adult responsibilities. I’m so glad these small devs are spanking soulless publishers and people are actually voting for the little guys with their money for once. Change could be coming.
I’ve been playing the game for a week now and even with all the bugs and support issues I still find myself eager to play the game. It’s so refreshing to play after being stuck with playing games that make it incredibly difficult to level up, unlock new in game items, and unlocks for your character without spending a ridiculous amount of money on the game after you’ve shelled out 60+ for the base game. Arrowhead hit the ball out of the park on this one and I can’t wait to see how the game evolves over time.
in the uk its £35 whilst triple A games are sold for $70 in the US but very often are sold for also £70 in the uk. £70 is a lot more expensive than $70 so when a game comes out at half that price and is of high quality then it is a much more considerable purchase. I very rarely buy triple A games at launch becuase of the inflated price and how they tend to not be as great as promised. I honeslty find that helldivers 2 is priced appropriately for a co-op shooter and absolutely delivers the best experience possible in that genre whilst adding its own uniqye twist with the strategems. Some publishers seem clueless pricing a triple A game for £70 which lackluster content and a live service mechanic that holds back story and content. What makes them feel like they can charge full price for an incomplete game? (this is about the kill the justice league game in particular)
This is exactly what I thought it would be. Longtime hell diver 1 veteran. Played for years and years. They probably really didn't have much to change about the game except camera angles lol
Just recently got it on the pc and can already tell my addiction has started lol, it’s all I can think about when I’m at work or playing R6 with the boys (they sadly don’t have pc or PlayStation). I’m solo and I’m still having a blast and already met some people just by playing, this is what a game should be. Side note: can’t wait for dune part two as well 💯🤙
This game is the game. It remainds me of the good times when I was enjoying playing PS1 and there was this exiting feeling, which has been lost nowadays. No health bars, no DLC’s, no transactions. Just pure goodness and laughter.
I've always felt like the damage numbers in most games seem to break immersion to a certain degree, and they're mostly there for the feedback loop of "big number gets bigger". It's an okay concept at earlier stages where the numbers are smaller and increases seem more tangible, but by late game your hitting for 6 or 7 digit amounts of damage. It's just a wall of numbers that pours from enemies during every encounter. By that stage, I'm not really paying attention to them, so they're just...there. I get some games have mechanics and systems that place more importance on monitoring those numbers closely, but they seem to be largely redundant in most instances I've experienced.
Absolutely love the way you compared the cost of the game vs the cinema. This is the way i look at my Netflix subscription and the games I buy, it is the reward they give in a time of entertainment.
Being able to have team mates ✅ No health bars but visual damage instead ✅ Not full price but looks good ✅ new / fun gameplay & content ✅ Would love to see more games like this but with more destruction and with the option for PvP but this is a great concept of a new game!
I would like to get DLSS and/or FSR for people who might not be able to run the game super well (and me who just wants more FPS hehe), but no complaints other than that. Actually, that's not a complaint, I just want it, so no complaints lol
As someone who has played since launch, has every upgrade, all strategems bought, and is lvl 50. I havent spent a single peeny on this game other than the $40 (i then later upgraded to the $60 version to support the devs) and i have bought every item from the super store just playing the game and have just over 3k supercredits banked up. It's so easy to just forget about the supercredits and just play the game, and before you know it, you have way more than you will ever need.
Amazing game! I do wish for a point system for which people can compete during a mission (dealing damage, clearing objectives and reviving other folks would give points). This could then be shown during the end mission screen (and maybe during the mission as well?) to further stimulate people to give it their best. Awards for your placement wouldn' be necessary as it's more about prestige. In any other case your placement could reward you a bit more XP. EDIT: Now I've come to think of it, people who join late would be behind in points so I guess that's an obstacle.
Love the way they implemented the Battle Pass, it encourages you to keep collecting those medals and it’s absolutely not aggressive like in many other AAA games. That’s how you know that gameplay is no 1 priority for the devs.
Its a mixture of satisfying combat (from sounds to player movement to spectacle explosions), self awareness of what's actually fun (satire trooper cutscenes to friendly fire shenanigans) & respecting player's money as much as time (no crazy mtx's and heartfelt apologies for server overload issues to the point where he recommends playing and enjoying other indies while they're addressing the problems). It's just a great win in yet another David vs. Goliath style story of the little guys punching well above their weight and showing the big guys how it's really supposed to be done

Same here i also don't have friends and i just bought the game today all i can do is play random 😢
I have never been THIS into a live service game and felt a part of a game community until I started playing Helldivers 2. I hope the team continues to find success!
The sample grind is a bit rough, but still alright, i need more things to spend requisition on
@@PropheticShadeZit just came out. I can imagine the things your gonna spend slips on. The supply grind is not bad with a full team looking for samples. Good luck spreading democracy brothers
It's so nice seeing games that were made with the honest intent of being fun and consumer-friendly be so successful
Suicide squad, skulls and bone being the two latest triple A and quadruple A games that went beyond failure.
@@johnpenguinthe3rd13 AH is an independent studio that has had two of their 5 games published by Sony. It's by no means a Sony studio.
1000%
@@johnpenguinthe3rd13 Published by Sony Studios not funded.
After not playing destiny 2 for about 6 years I got all nostalgic last weekend and bought the latest two DLCS only to see everyone on a destiny group on fb saying this game pisses all over it🤦😆
Helldivers 2 is what Destiny 2 wish it could be
Former Destiny 2 vet here.
Agreed. This game blows Destiny 2 out of the water with a 500KG of pure explosive LIBERTY
@@jcp1966 yep this is the first time I’ve seen it and my warlock is gonna be waiting at the tower for a long time I think😆
@@ThePhoenixScribe *500KG ;)
I have been saying this since I got, "This is what Destiny should have been."
I am 86hours in with everthing unlocked but still playing it just because it is fun.
You’re a walking W
I hope to be there one day! I love the gameplay so I will definitely be replaying for fun! I can’t wait for a third faction too!
FOR FREEDOM!!!!!
@@Unknown_Genius That was a great feature.
Left 4 Dead 2 was the first thing I thought of, too. I still play that game to this day. The industry moving back towards that era of games would be beautiful to behold.
Love it when the devs are passionate about their creation, makes for a better community
Agree 100%, you actually get it. It’s nice to see a big hitter like you actually understanding the game. Just enjoy it and have a blast with your friends!
Unbelievably, impossibly, incredibly good. One of the best games ever made. If they keep the content flowing, we’ll be playing for years
Idk about years bro
If the first game is any example... after a few war campaigns we'll gain access to fighting the Illuminate, gain access to vehicle call down stratagems, and the aliens will get a new category of soldiers... if Bile Titans are heavies, I can't wait to see what Super Heavies are going to be that we require calling down four person tanks.
I played HD1 from 2015 to good 2021 and still find it fun as it ever was. Yeah HD2 has many years to come.
I love how every mission, whether it results in failure or success, feels like a well orchestrated action movie. It’s just SO GOOD.
Mastering the Railgun in Unsafe mode, 1 shotting Bile Titans is something id never thought id do
Railgun on HD1 does little damage to tank bug but stun them for the next 5-7 sec. With that stun, hell can be unleashed to them. Also, the railgun can actually help mates from certain death. So many times a tank bug charge toward a teammate and I was able to save them by stunning the tank bug.
@@tr1besrail guns were vital for those 13+ arenas lol
@@cro3757 not necessarily. I use sickle as my main. Priority strategem. 1 static, 1 jump suit, and 2 REC-16. Usually i put static in the middle for arena.
Railgun can only stun the tank down and must follow by an antitank weapon. Railgun also have limited ammo (4) and when multismall enemies come close, it's funerable. So most veterans will have to be good with pistol to get the small quitters. I do use railgun/rumbler loadout too but if no one use it, I will.
Wait what? Unsafe mode can 1 top Bile Titans?
See alot of people talking about one shot a bile titan in unsafe mode, I only use the railgun in safe mode and still take out Titans with one shot to the mouth, so no need to use it in unsafe mode imo. But it's fun to play with it in unsafe I can agree.
I knew this was going to be a fun game when I first saw a trailer for it, but never in my imagination would I have thought it would pop off like this, too the point where almost every single content creator I’ve watched has covered it. It’s super surreal and awesome at the same time.
astonishing how well the game did cause of PASSION and really talented leadership to steer the whole crew the correct way to appease an audience. The amount of gameplay you showed with the VAST areas is crazy, I still get the "oh I havent seen a planet like this yet". Its all soooo damn good.
Jack, I had trouble convincing the old boys to come back and play like the old days of Bf3. I’m going to send them this video to convince them. A brief and to the point video! Thanks Jack, this will get the boys diving with me 💪🏽

This is what the devs mean by "Earn the right to monetize." And I'm ALL HERE FOR IT BABAY!
The visual clarity in this game is perfect, I feel like I could play it without the HUD on and be fine.
My biggest UI problem is the.... Questionable crosshair choices for some guns like the revolver and energy rifle.
@@Meravokasit's because you're using *one* hand with the revolver, it's not gonna be very accurate when you don't have time to set up shots
You can in the settings if you want . You can also scale and make everything smaller.
Cant say it better than that ;))
Same, been playing PC games since the early 90s and its hard to put my finger on exactly what but this game just *feels* (and partly aesthetically looks) like a game from that early 00s era where you just bought a game, installed it, had fun and that was it. Almost none of the "luggage" that typically comes with modern games. Nearly 200 hours in and it still feels fresh and fun to me.
Mechs? I’m in! Honestly, it reminds me of the early days of BF2 franchise. Great missions, good teamwork and a compelling story. Thanks!
It's a great game.
This is old school gaming. You love to see it
I'd love to see ship customization. To the point where when you travel to others ships you see their customization.
Also, armor dyes
Nah, clown vomit colour schemes is a big chunk of what's wrong with character designs these days. It ends up busy as hell, all over the place and no clue what it's meant to be there for.
@@hallowedbeyourdays I don't necessarily disagree with you, but there's a way to do it without overdoing it. I don't think there needs to be 1,000 colors. Just some base colors so your armor can match, just the armor nothing else.
This game brings me back to playing Battlefront as a kid. Just so much fun.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont let EA or Ubisoft or Activision get their hands on this IP.

Love the terminator war chant the automatons do when they’re roaming
Theres stealth mechanics if you equip thw scout armor on page 7 of the battle pass you can crawl right up to/in a bas3 to throw a really precise strategem
buddy you get 1 armor for free that's the same as the scout. no need to wait for page 7
Helldivers 2 is the real AAAA game.
Or maybe it's just an S game.

This is the most fun I’ve had with a game in years. This generation has been a snooze fest all along until Helldivers 2 arrived. I can’t wait to see how this game evolves and expands.
I love watching the game too. Gives you time to really appreciate the environments and crazy stuff going on and seeing great teamwork is always cool
Wait. Here in the USA, grabbing a couple popcorn/soda/nachos/hotdog/whatever at the cinema is an extra 40 bucks on its own.... Lol.

Who started using the word slaps, was it you Jack, it’s contagious with the youth
It’s been 7 days upload a video!!!!! I love your content
It reminds me of the old battlefield games. Just you and your mates messing around, shooting some stuff, enjoying big guns and big explosives
The music when landing on a planet always reminds me of the first Pacific Rim movie, it just slaps.
As you can tell by the views we love content on this game! Keep the vids coming!
in the uk its £35 whilst triple A games are sold for $70 in the US but very often are sold for also £70 in the uk.
They've put everything into the gameplay, like devs used to. The audio and impact of gun shots hitting the bug's is what makes is really shine.
Just recently got it on the pc and can already tell my addiction has started lol, it’s all I can think about when I’m at work or playing R6 with the boys (they sadly don’t have pc or PlayStation). I’m solo and I’m still having a blast and already met some people just by playing, this is what a game should be. Side note: can’t wait for dune part two as well 💯🤙
imagine in 2 years, the monsters, maps and objectives they can come up with for this game... incredible
This game is the game. It remainds me of the good times when I was enjoying playing PS1 and there was this exiting feeling, which has been lost nowadays. No health bars, no DLC’s, no transactions. Just pure goodness and laughter.
That uno reverse card grenade bumping .. "No, U"
I love this old game called mercenaries and this game kinda reminds me of it as being a 3rd person shooter and you called “air strikes” in.
I really hope more games like this can get a chance, this was such an incredible game.
I've been following you for years Jack, every video is a banner, keep up the excellent work!

This game is such a pleasant surprise. I loved the first one playing couch coop with 3 other friends back in high school.
The good thing about this game is that it doesn’t take itself to seriously, it’s fun, it’s not toxic everyone is friendly. It’s just a good time.
Thanks Jack, looking forward to playing this next week. Your reviews are always the best and most informative.
This game studio is just 1km from me in Stockholm where I live, until this game I had no idea. Now it makes me a bit proud to be swedish
Thanks for this review it really opened up some nice discussion i hope future devs take advice from-- I know I have!
I bought this game because of your videos on it!
Love it! Thank you!
The memes that have come out of this little gem have been hilarious.
Your video is the core of what I love and want to see more from HD2. Will be the default share for my friends who are curious about HD2.
