MLG Giraffe depends, their new album received a lot of hate from long term fans because they've gradually moved away from what they started on. To me City of Evil, Sounding the Seventh and Waking The Fallen are leagues above Hail to the King and Stage
I myself am a long term fan and i hate how everyone always compares there old shit with there new shit. like he wanted to do more melodic singing and it paid off cause they are bigger now then any other bands that continued with screaming and such back in the day like atreyu to name one. i love the stage cause its more chaotic and i feel and makes more sense then HTTK.
This song was in Guitar Hero 2 I think? It was actually fairly difficult on hard, took me four or five tries till I got the solo perfect. Expert, is an entirely different subject. 💀💀💀
That Beast and the Harlot sounded... off. I don't know why but I can't remember there being any long solo notes in the last chorus. I might be wrong and they are boosting certain instruments but hey ho!
LIQUIDMETAL yeah they boosted that guitar track in the last chorus, if you listen to the original song you can faintly hear that guitar track being played, particularly near the "..cage for every unclean spirit every filthy bird and makes us drink.." part

They are called hammer on's and pull off's, they are indicated by the smaller notes and only have to be fretted not strummed. They can also be done on real guitar and bass
Overall would you recommend getting rock band 4? I'm getting fed up with GH and want a new challenge. Also how do you get extra songs like My Sharona? :) and what controller are you using? Cause the ones I've been looking at are different to your one :) how would you rate it overall too?
(This is my opinion) Honestly i would recommend rb3 more, simply because you can add hundreds of custom songs made by the community and it overall has better on disc songs
Just out of curiosity, is there a reason you use Guitar Hero guitars over the Rock Band guitars? It is personal preference, or more that one feels better to you than the other? Do you get paid to use only GH guitars?
The strum bar is so much nicer, imo. I love the click. Rock Band guitars have a really mushy and silent strum bar. It's so much easier to keep rhythm with a click.

Something about the buttons being integrated into the neck itself, just feels more natural to me. There's almost no spacing between the buttons on a RB guitar either, which when using a GH guitar, tends to kinda throw me off. I think it's also worth mentioning that I have played on a RB Precision Bass replica since the release of RB2 in 2008, rather than a normal 6-string model. On the topic of guitars, have you ever thought of picking up a real one? Maybe getting into the RockSmith scene?
