I fucking hate how they changed the guitar and colored notes in the new guitar hero.... like I get it, they were trying to go for something different and a bit more realistic... but if I wanted realistic I would go practice a real guitar. if there was ever another guitar hero I'd wish it would go back to have the 5 button guitar with the colored notes, cause this sucks.

The live version isnt a bad idea at all for guitar but for vocals its such a bad idea since most vocalization takes practice and relies on memory, and chances are you know a song more from its studio version way more.

Mr. Clod Guitar hero live is worth it for the online mode which is pretty awesome,hundreds of songs to choose from.You you can play them all for free plenty of great music and more songs frequently updated.The game can be bought for cheap now as it's heavily discounted in stores.
Mr. Clod I bought it for £20 which comes with the one guitar and game in a bundle.When you play online you earn points from beating songs and use the points to buy play tokens.You use the play tokens to use on whatever songs you want to play along to.I've played for hours and haven't run out of play tokens so you don't need to worry about that.The online mode has a leveling up system so it's like a career mode but online with plenty of unlockables.Music from zz top,slipknot,Queen,kiss,panterra,tenacious d,Rob zombie,airbourne.So I'm sure there's music on the online mode that would interest you especially if you liked music from the old guitar hero games.

Honestly, the cartoon characters are in a way what made Guitar Hero, I loved them and the classic GH games will always be the best. Not this "Live" crap. I one day hope to see a cartoon Guitar Hero again.
