Been watching your videos. Great info. What's your honest thoughts on the uniview software and supportvs other brands like hikvision, dahua and ubiquiti? Also is uniarch the exact same quality and products as uniview? I'm confused.
I'm not a fan of Ubiquiti because they have an closed ecosystem. Their cameras don't support ONVIF, which means you're stuck using them with a Ubiquiti recorder. As for Hikvision and Dahua, I think their software and products are pretty good. However, they fall behind in terms of network security and reputation. Both those brands have been sanctioned by the US Government and FCC - and although that's mostly political I still don't recommend them. Uniarch is made by Uniview, but for consumers. They target a lower price point, which results in lesser quality materials, image sensors, and lenses. Good for residential or budget projects, but I'd stick with Uniview due to their better build quality.
The model IPC3638SE-ADF28K-WL-I0 is a little higher end than this camera. It's an 8MP ColorHunter with a large 1/1.8" image sensor for better image quality. We made a video showing the quality of that camera: ruclips.net/video/QLPP38OK6pQ/видео.html
