    I specially like Leonidas Kavakos playing in this. And the other two, Gautier Capucon and Yuja Wang, are not so bad at all.... Three hearts: ❤❤❤ from me!

      *For me, Gautier Capuçon is the star here. He embodies the impassioned intensity of the music. His tone is unfailingly beautiful. I’ve never enjoyed Kavakos, and I’m beginning to understand why: He often plays the 1st note of phrases out of tune. It just bothers me. And Yuja Wang makes some odd rubato choices in her solo passages, but she is often very fine elsewhere.*

      @@marshallartz395 Quick answer: After not liking Kavakos in different uptakings I here find him quite fine. Therefore my perhaps too positive words about him. About Gautier Capucon: I have nothing but positive thoughts about him. And about Yuja: She fits in completely, also in a trio playing.

    YUJA IS SOO MUCH MORE IN DEPTH THAN THE REST OF THE POEPLE WHERE SHE HAS ENTERED THE HEAVENLY HEAVENLY WORLD OF THE CLASSICS & PERFORMED WITH SUCH GIFTE3D PERFORMERS .

    After listening to this a couple of times I will say that the first twenty minutes are gorgeous, but then, when it comes to the variations my interest is slowing down. Poor Tchaikovsky that had to write all these variations!

    При всём моём уважении к музыкантам, не могу согласиться с их интерпретацией. Очень быстро, нет тонкого фразирования, характерного для Чайковского с выразительной интонацией.Одна голая техника.Даже величие куда-то убежало.В названии же есть подсказка - памяти Великого музыканта..Сражение трёх музыкантов за собственные лавры величия.

      Ни один исполнитель не может улучшить композитора. Это интерпретация, лишенная формальной строгости, стилистической выразительности и пронизанная лишними деталями, которые не только не обогащают интерпретацию, но превращают ее в нечто смешное.
