In Brazil, Samsung announced the G6 as the new Odyssey series monitor, supposedly identical to the G7, with the differential of having the Tizen Platform. There are no reviews for this monitor. I ask if it's the same Neo G7 from your video. The model is the LS27BG650ELXZD.

Is there any difference between the odyssey G6 display vs the OG G7? I saw that the new G6 doesn’t have quantum display, does that make a difference? I can’t find any reviews online.
It is increased but honestly the the quality if pixels of the G7 is already very good. The Neos are clearer but not night and day. The G7 already offers 1440p120hz on both consoles. The Neos SDR mini led impact is a bigger difference.
I have a OG G7 and a Dell G3223Q 4K IPS, and while the contrast on the G7 is way better (VA vs IPS), the clarity in 4K is much better, not only the game looks more sharper and realistic (and i have the 27 inch G7, 32" would look even worse) but there is also much less aliasing on the 4K, in Warzone 2 you can only play with anti aliasing on, SMAA 2x and Filmic, and even with filmic AA on the G7, the Dell has less AA with the weaker SMAA 2x setting, but there is STILL a bit aliasing even with the lowest AA setting on the 4K, but it is MUCH less than with 1440p. After playing 1 week with the 4K, it makes spotting enemys on 1440p way harder especially if there are much buildings and trees, everything is moving and shimmering on 1440p... I think you need 8K to get rid off the aliasing completely, maybe in a few years a RTX 5090 or RTX 6090 will be strong enough to give 144+ fps in 8K and a 8K fald or OLED 144/165hz would be the insane but also very expensive..

Right now im on a og G7 and i ordered a Dell g3223q 4K IPS for warzone 2, and while the 4K clarity wins especially because of the MUCH less aliasing which make it way easier to see enemys at range, the contrast on the 4K IPS is worse than the OG G7, and if turn on the black EQ on the Dell, i see way better in darker areas, but the contrast gets even worse, making black looking like dark blue, which annoys me. Do you think the Neo G7 would be here the best of both worlds, and if i lower the black EQ on the Neo G7, does the black turn into a grey ? Because if they turn grey, i could just stay with an IPS panel...or is my way of thinking wrong? Thats one reason why i didnt buy the Aw3423dw, because i want that 4K claritiy but i also want to mess around with a black EQ IF NEEDED, i never played on OLED and i know for example on my OG G7 that HDR is bad for these type of games because it makes spotting in dark areas almost impossible, while bright areas are way to bright.

Neo G7 is best native 4k but if too expensive get the KTC QHD or 4k Mini LED not the Koorui. The KTC is much better vs the Koorui. I have a vs video on them in the playlist
I own the C2 42" version. While I love how clear it looks (glossy screen is a plus) I prefer the SDR/HDR gaming and movies on the QN90B. Game mode on the QN90B is bright while the Game optimizer on the C2 42" dims too much for me to use it. See reddit posts as ppl are not liking that dimmness in game optimizer mode. Other than that the C2 is very good. Its tough friend. Basically do you need sdr mode to look hdrish? Visual Impact is the word. I have a BF2042 xbox qn90b video for tomorrow and a qn90b review for fri morning in case u needed to see that
Both were on cinema preset and custom but here is my settings on both basically. Only adjust the brightness and black equalizer to your liking. Custom preset Brightness 100 Contrast 70 Local dimming On (For bright sdr highlights) Black Equalizer 11-13 (On the neo contrast enhancer on depending on game) (On the G7 adaptive contrast off) Everything else default

The regular G6 and G7? Basically the G6 is brighter and has smart features. Also more zones but they dont help much. I just got a G6 on lrime day. I will vs both soon. Get the G6 if you can or were shopping Im sure u will be happy. You can search g6 from my prime day landing page on my community post
Excellent video. I have 1 question, i have rtx 3080 asus rog strix. After a year or 2 it will lag on 4k. Then instead of buying new GPU, i will start playing on 1440P. What would u recommend, should i buy g7 or neo g7 keeping in mind that i will play games on 1440p when 4k will lag?

Congrats friend. I find myself just leaving it on SDR mode for a bigger impression. Disable local dimming if in not gaming) But HDR looks great.
I'll be honest with you, there seems to be almost no difference on video. If anything the neo g7 seems to look worse (more blooming, darker)...
