Respect to the team for the transparency, and they already have their eye on QoL before actual content which is good imo. Game's really solid at launch apart from the servers. Much more than 90% of games lately.

Payday 3 is a great game, and I am still very happy that I pre-ordered the game. The fact that the whole team are working this hard to iron out the current issues, and actively listening to the players is so nice to see. Thanks for your efforts and I am looking forward to many great years ind Payday 3 :D
On the topic of the Safehouse, I would like it to return in Payday 3 as an immersive, interactive explorable game lobby akin to Deep Rock Galactic's Spacerig lobby. Ideally as a replacement for the current lobby screen. This would allow a social space for players to interact before a heist, be more immersive to the heist experience and simply give players something to do once ready to go/waiting for someone to join. Alot of the features of the main menu can be integrated into it too to remove the need for that menu, like a gun rack for customising loadouts, planning room for choosing heists, computer network for looking at challenges, and a bedroom for each character so when a player joins they spawn in their chosen characters room. Readying up is as simply as climbing into the van.
When it comes to the safe house, the place from the cutscenes looks so damn dope and it could be abandoned-looking entrance to a well mentained underground. It'd be so dope. Also idk if it's just me but bots seem to not cared about other bots that are downed, could there a chance you change/fix that?
The bots thing is intentional so you don't have a bot reviving chain until you respawn, it was very easy to set up and since reviving times are faster in PD3 it could be even easier to set up and just cheese heists on OVK.
@@najkiyy still not great as it just lets you run half of the map away and have most cop spawns distracted by the bots left behind because they can't get taken out fully.
Why do i love Payday? This right here is why. So many other companies would just go silent, make a single tweet image that says "oops sorry umm we'll try to fix that" but not Payday the team over there, they are gamers like we are gamers. Am i totally excusing the awful launch of the game, no absolutely not. But i will give credit when credit is due that you can truly feel the love the team has for their product.

Of course it does but they are working on it and they even said this game is their 10 year. Payday 3 support is planned for the foreseeable future, it's not a one year one and done game like call of duty or Madden. Just be patient. :)
this glitch has been happening to me (probably other players aswell) where after completing a heist and seeing all the attachments I unlocked and levels I levelled up, said attachments and levels I'd gone up in weren't showing/didn't go through, however sometimes this could be fixed by closing and reopening the game but unfortunately sometimes not.
I usually go into a tutorial heist and just exit right away, takes 10 seconds and every time it's refreshed my inventory and new attachments etc. Though I remember it could take like 3-4 heists to get some of the equipment such as the first armour you unlock during the first day of early access
I'm really hoping for an estimated XP system when you look at heists like in payday 2. So far there's a penalty for doing the same heist over and over again, but I'm having to test it out and note down how much I get etc. To try getting any sense out of it. I also really miss seeing how much money I get from bags and such when picking it up in the heist. Also the challenges are a mess to look through, plus bugged progression and such on many of them. There's been less matchmaking issues for the last 2 days which is good. Expecting the weekend to cause issues though
Communication to the community and understanding with the community is more important and appreciated then a perfect launch we have had many games launch terribly and with poor or no response we expect bumps from games at this point and the response is what seems to be what matters these days and I think your handling it very well and appreciate it and look forward to the progress of the game
@@mangoesbbq5345 it's also clear that they tested and didn't find issues and that the server partner was partially to blame whoever they could have done a large open beta test to stress test servers like a mmo does but with it being they're first always online and players playing in groups of 4 and the testing they did do passing there was no reasson to indicate a need for a larger scale test that's something I'm sure they've learned and hopefully any other developer takes away from this as a community we should be somewhat understanding especially since they're on it and keeping us updated and apologized were a real apology not just show boating like most do for publicity
Downside of modern gaming is that things do launch badly most of the time, but the upside is that in some of those cases devs try to turn it into the game the community wants. No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk are fantastic examples. Go back to CP2077, the 2.0 update did a lot to make the game great.

@@hkillerprcross progression is the ability to play your account on multiple consoles. Cross play is the ability for 2 different consoles and or PC to play together.
If you watch the stream they do mention multiple times there’s no confirmation yet as the games just now post launch and focus on QoL changes. As well as server fixing. Don’t demand on a game they want to fix before adding new content. No game today is flexible like them.
@@hkillerpr if you open up offline mode within the debug menu and play whatever progress you have online is what you have, you make 0 progress even if you managed to possibly hold out long enough for a weapon to be maxed out it'll mean nothing, loot will mean nothing.
One of the questions was "Can we be able to disarm all dye packs in solo?" and I feel like the fun and obvious solution is already one they've used in other heists, where you have one of the bank workers disable two for you. I don't mind if you made solo have additional or harder steps than you would have in co-op because part of the fun is the burden being entirely on yourself, makes it satisfying to complete.

The vault was accessed legitimately by a bank employee, why would the dye packs detonate at all if the system recognises proper vault access? If it was accessed after the alarm had gone off then I'd understand, but in stealth? It doesn't make sense to me at all
@@DodgeJohnson1 Maybe it requires another extra step like a sign off from an outside company or something. Payday has done that before with Big Bank. It's a bit of a cop out but some extra check the Payday gang can't (yet) deal with would give it a reason.

I would assume people don’t talk about more loadout slots because there’s very little depth, and thus no need, or actually, there is no possibility to make distinct loadouts
Idk if anyone was having this issue but when me and my friend completed one of the hiests and for some reason me and him saw that our weapon xp wasnt progressing also The one thing i have an issue with is that me and my friend cant invite each other just on Xbox we have to invite each other from the game but so far Im not angry just kinda disappointed. But i hope you guys keep up the good work
If you guys add an offline mode I would probably rebuy the game but I can't justify 40 dollars for a game that could be down and just can't play at all.

Can you please bring back, the famous “persist F-Key” spam all over loose jewellery, it was so addictive and made the duffle bag’s actually feel in a way you heap up the serious amounts of gliss. I think it's good to remember that unlike many game companies, Starbreeze does listen to their playerbase and tries to do right by them. I was just as disappointed and mad with all the server issues but never lost faith in them trying fix things. That doesn't mean that we should stop letting ourselves known and complain when issues arise. Just make sure to not attack the devs. They're human, they make mistakes. And they're self-aware enough to try to fix them. You got my respect Starbreeze. Just please keep the servers stable. oh yeah, almost forgot: ADD KITTY GLOVE!

@@sei_asagiri Payday 2 is 10 years old and has over 240 updates. Payday 3 released a week ago. There also are no repeat heists in Payday 3. Unlike Payday 2 which had 5 branch banks and 2 jewellery stores. And Four Stores. This is like saying that CoD Black Ops 2 sucked ass on launch because Modern Warfare 3(2011) has 5 DLC packs(I'm counting the MW2 ports).
What about re roll all random elements on restart? It's too much easy to go stealth if you can gather information from previous tries. In payday 2 it gets random every try and was much better.
guys you need to adjust the dead zone settings for ps5. the constrolls are not on par with other games. it's hard to be agile and accurate at the same time. i have a high sensitivity to move around but the minmum movement of the controler stick the game reacts to, makes it not possible to shoot accurate at distance. i had to same problem in dayday 2 on ps4. but otherwise great game. cheers from switzerland
Theres just not enough heists to warrant the price. And these server issues are really making it a barrier for potential new players wanting to pick this game up.
In spite of the outages, I have been enjoying the game alot. It's nice that in every game I've played everyone tries to stealth and no one asks if we should and when it goes loud people generally don't just quit so that shows that builds are pretty viable in both playstyles so they don't impede each other. I also love all the new cop behaviours that make cops feel more tactical like cops forming up around Shields, moving through spaces as squads and throwing grenades into rooms before breaching as well as behaviour changes based on hostage presence. Overkill weapons are also a great of bringing back the silly OP weapons from PD2, like the flamethrower, RPG and minigun, in a way that's balanced and requires that overwhelming power to be earned. Would love a Bulldozer style suit as an Overkill weapon that gives players overwhelming defence instead of offence, via a massive amount of armour at the cost of slow speed, and a brief time to become the bulldozer yourself.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about lobbies not being marked as Stealth or Loud (which, yes that would be nice) but literally every game I've had with randoms has been pseudo-stealth like you're describing. People will try to stealth as far as possible, but no one backs out when it goes loud the way that they would in Payday 2. Overall I think that's made for a much better experience than getting kicked immediately from stealth or loud lobbies when you have the wrong loadout equipped lol.
@@brenudo997 It helps that a player without a silenced gun or stealth skills can still help alot. And people not backing out leads to a more "heist movie" experience. The classic heist movie premise is a heist going stealthy but they mess up and have to recover and Payday 3's lobbies are that most of the time. I think a loud/stealth flag is rather unnecessary as currently you can't join a heist mid-heist (as far as I know) so knowing the plan isn't necessary while having it at the start will just start arguments and lead people to leave lobbies because the lobby doesn't want to do it "their way". Plus I like not knowing what the plan and other player skills are. Adds to the replayability.
Knowing that you guys were working hard to fix things in the background of all of the mayhem I tried to stay as positive as possible and I knew things would level out eventually. What boogles my mind is, that it doesnt feel good ,to play the way you want. Because the enemys are always the same level, the same hp, no dmg fall of, and I guess they stagger you (Cant confirm that honestly) .. And since they spawn, wherever you are, you cant even kill a few to make yourself a pocket to breath and escape, like in payday 2. Dont get me wrong. Fighting cops inside is engaging. And yes, I can go down more times with my light balistic vest than the rest of my team. But if anything, it hurts their progess in carrying bags. Like, even if I want to be speedy and stun the enemy with granade spec, they still hit like a ton ... And especially the fuse boxes for the 3 "Bollacks?" (I dont know the english word) ... You know, what hinders your transporter from showing up in NRFTW ... I always feel, if I already know the mechanic of the boxes, I should sprint ahead and disable them. (Because they are not highlighted from afar. Its a miricale if you bumble into one, as a noob. (Same with hostages) (Also not highlighted) ... (And the basic fact that your bots always will kill a cop across the street, when negotioan phase comes arround.) ... (And that at a certain point, the cops will take no break at all. Grinding you to death in an endless assult) But it always feels, like an enemy is always there, before I get there. I dont even see them mostly. Like basic enemys need 4 headshoots with the pistol and to be diabled ... And they hit you over two roads aways, like they have aim bot. And they surround you, like 2 Cops spawning on each side. And especially, I even put points into, that I can move faster with a human shield that Ive taken. But even that doesnt even STOP THEM ... NO its like a ducking invitation for one of the cops to sprint threw, and try stun you, punching the hostage out of your shoulder. Like, not that that just isnt fun? It also means that the 2 points I spent for 10% movement speed with human shield, were a waste-. And since they focus on keeping the amount on enemys thin, for better server latency? Thats exactly the problem. You kill them and they respawn so fast, its insane. Not to mention, that a bulldozer drops the instant you carry your bags away. Also, it almost felt sometimes, that even after 20 min of steath, and suddenly something goes wrong? There isnt even a recon group of cops who come first. Or even easier swat. Cause, thats what they said: Every enemy has the same stats and hp, no matter what. In payday 2, there were different kind of bulldozers and cops, depending on the difficulty and how much time has passed, since the alarm rang. And so. Yeah. It sucks. And even, that light balistic vest, rengenerates your armor plates dmg even slightly faster? Once the plate is broken. Its broken. So, its no fun for me, mostly because, it teases me with new skills potential. And I always fall in a kind of thinking, off: "How can I break my habits." ... But no skill at all, even does a slight bit of difference. I have 15 skillpoints and even I hapen to flash a lot of ppl? And they armor is toast? And I can pull a smoke granade pin on an enemy cop? They still hit like a truck even threw smoke. Sorry. Its NOT FUN. Stealth is dandy. Hostange taking is too. But getting bags to the truck on loud? No way. Not to mention, that "Since the developers vision of you fighting cops, is going back in cover and regenerating all the dmg you took." You endlessly grind with the enemy. And after 2 Waves the fuse boxes will be needet to disable again. And that I think is a mechanic. Like, I dont see cops enableling them. I honestly think, that every time you call the transporter, you have to do this minigame again. How am I even supposed to carry two completly new playes threw this dumb shit?

I hope someone from payday will see this but I been playing the game and I only able to get 1 achievement and that's it on pc and Xbox and I never get the other achievements I got or should had gotten when I played missions and such + I spent $100 on this game and the Crossplay is still broken I can't find friends or invite them to the game when I have it set for crossplay I tryed to do it for 3 hours trying to invite my friend we did give up last night on it can you please work on those things ASAP @payday 3

I had this idea and it seems so perfect… ‘Houston Breakout’ where Hox has to swallow his personal issues to help Houston. This not only is a funny wordplay on the iconic heist from Payday 2 but a great character development as in more dire situations for the payday squad, personal grudges need to be set aside for a better future for the squad. If you like this idea and share my idea, give this a like 👍🏼.
Good idea narratively, especially if Hoxton has unique dialogue if he's being used in the heist, but it would need different gameplay from Hoxton Breakout as the Road Rage heist's part where you move the truck is akin to Hox Breakout's car section.
Eh... while they have good reasons for always online, it's still a bad idea even if implemented well. They should take Left 4 Dead as an example and allow players the option to host a game.
Why have central servers? Just have people host their own lobbies like in the last game. Why make this change to begin with? Edit: "... less dependent on online services." Sounds good, but why not be fully independent? It worked before. Is there a reason to have online requirement at all? If so, what?

They had content like the server browser on the beta that wasn't on the full release. They blamed Xbox and PlayStation for players not receiving extra content they paid for even though they're the ones who never implemented it, now they're saying we have to wait until next month to receive it. They're are so many examples of them lying or at least decieveing players but ok ig. If you wanna defend a company with millions maybe billions who knows for no reason then go for it. Payday 2 even had more characters, heist, skills, Infamy options, mask, etc. They're blaming everyone else, lying, and even silencing their community about this stuff.

You have released a great game into the world. I'm really looking forward to seeing the game grow. An offline mode would be a great addition, but stable servers are just as important. Don't let anything discourage you; you're doing a fantastic job.
Any plans to go after rage quitters who leave early when the heist doesn't go as they had planned? I play stealth and loud and stealth players constantly cut and run when it goes loud and as I have zero comms on PS5 I have no way to mitigate this. Also your reporting system isn't functioning on PS5. I can't actually type out the reason why I am reporting someone. This game is incredibly lacking in basic services. When it works it is nearly a perfect game but the public play experience is not welcoming. And that is saying something as this is one of the most bipolar communities I have ever been a part of. The coolest people play but also the biggest jerks I have ever met.

[trigger warning: simping for overkill] Really appreciate the transparency from OVK/Starbreeze. Obviously servers on launch went sideways, and that sucks, but it seems like ensuring that doesn't happen again is a big priority for the team right now. There are some things that I'd like to see improved in regards to progression, such as clearer indication to the player of what they're progressing, which Andreas has already confirmed they're working on. But the Payday community is a resilient one. We've seen stuff go poorly before (Safes, Epic Games Update, etc etc etc) but the devs have always managed to pull the game back on track. The fresh start (or, Tabula Rasa?) that we've gotten with Payday 3 is a great jumping off point for the coming years. They've managed to simplify the vast amount of content in Payday 2, all of the skills, weapons, perk decks, heists, etc. and streamline years worth of hits and misses into a small but varied weapon pool, fewer (but more impactful) skills, and some of the best-designed heists we've seen. It's clear that Payday 3 was made with a ton of lessons learned from Payday 2, and I have faith that the devs will use this launch as a learning opportunity to improve Payday 3 further. I know we're all excited for them to start cranking out DLCs and extra content, but I'm glad that they're taking the time to clean up some of the rough spots with the base game first, so that they have a stable foundation to start building on. After all, what's the point in having underbarrel flamethrowers or the fucking Typhoon from Crysis if we don't have a game to use them in? I salute you all, OVERKILL. It's fucking Payday motherfuckers.
Transparency? They banned anyone in their discord and turned it on private when people started asking why the game is not working. They blamed Xbox and PlayStation for server issues. They blamed PlayStation for PlayStation players not being able to play the beta even though they were the ones who gave the wrong keys to PlayStation. They blamed online only on their new partner even though that's not true. When they paid content creators they gave them scripts of things they weren't allowed to talk about (which I understand for lore purposes but they asked them not to bring up browser and matchmaking issues.) They had more content in the launch of payday 2 then three. During the payday 3 beta they even had more content but they took out things like server browsing. When they first went live they said the servers were full which ended up being a lie on Twitter. When people on that live kept asking the most he would say is the servers are full and then try to distract people saying jacket coming back or kaybe sokol coming back acting like were 7 years old and will be distracted by something shinny. Have whatever opinion you want but I don't think they're transparent. Almir is their PR (Public relations) it's literally his job to make people interested and not mad.

He was the one who gave us the line "Payday 2 will never have microtransactions, and shame on you if you thought otherwise". I wasn't on the discord but if it was anything like their xbox store reviews, steam reviews, youtube comments, and instagram comments during launch, it was probably 90% people just talking shit and complaining about the servers, which isn't helpful. My comment was prefaced pretty clearly that I'm being optimistic. In my experience over 10 years of playing Payday 2, there hasn't been a shitshow that they haven't apologized for and fixed. This Q&A was pretty much an hour of them answering the same few questions and giving what answers they could, or explaining why they didn't have an answer yet. They didn't have to do that. I'd say that's some level of transparency. If they end up just making the game worse and killing it entirely, then yeah I'll eat my words. But neither you nor I, nor Almir and Andreas, can say if that will be the case. I've been optimistic about Overkill in the past and it's turned out pretty good overall, so I'm gonna keep on being optimistic until they prove me wrong.
I find it childish releasing a game that's not finished. I find it childish getting mad at people opinions/actions because it doesn't line up with yours. Even two days before launch on gold edition there were server issues and no one cares to bring that up. They also lied about the servers being full. They blamed their partner company for doing online only even though it was their idea. They blamed PlayStation and Xbox for their game not working and people not getting the extra content they paid for. When they went live to address the issues they never addressed anything really, they lied about the servers being full and then they kept trying to distract us by saying "oh maybe Jimmy will come back" or " oh maybe jacket will come back since he's unaccounted for" and then bro went on to start talking to Ice T. They made a game online only know the community does not want that and they couldn't even put in voice chat. PlayStation players who bought the preorder couldn't even play it and they once again blamed PlayStation and refuse to offer compensation. They've done everything they can to push blame on every other company while trying to act like they did nothing wrong and at the same time acting like their taking accountability. Now how do you take accountability when you blame everyone except urself and act like you did nothing wrong? Again the servers were messed up before launch and when launch came they lied saying it was just full. It's not even like they were down a couple hours, they were down 3 days and I won't be surprised if they go down again somehow. I swear you people are either bots or you're the few couple thousand who were actually able to play the game. Because I don't see you single where you can defend this game/company. The same shit launch happened to payday 2 but at least there was content in that game at release. This game feels like I'm still playing the beta except there was at least more content in the beta

This is so embarrassing to watch. This whole disaster could have easily been avoided, if you listened to the community. Nobody wants always on, nobody wanted EoS happen to Payday 2. The lack of content for Payday 3 is ridiculous for a the „years“ of development. It’s a dead game from start. Don’t apologize. This early access beta, which is currently sold full price is an insult for all the players who supported you through all the years.
You do realize Payday 2 came with even less variety in heists...also do you even understand the concept of why it is always online? It is to make it so everyone plays the same game, across all platforms, it is really the consoles you need to cry about that are the reason this is a thing, and it was something that we the players wanted.

On the topic of the Safehouse, I would like it to return in Payday 3 as an immersive, interactive explorable game lobby akin to Deep Rock Galactic's Spacerig lobby. Ideally as a replacement for the current lobby screen.
This would allow a social space for players to interact before a heist, be more immersive to the heist experience and simply give players something to do once ready to go/waiting for someone to join.
Alot of the features of the main menu can be integrated into it too to remove the need for that menu, like a gun rack for customising loadouts, planning room for choosing heists, computer network for looking at challenges, and a bedroom for each character so when a player joins they spawn in their chosen characters room.
Readying up is as simply as climbing into the van.

The bots thing is intentional so you don't have a bot reviving chain until you respawn, it was very easy to set up and since reviving times are faster in PD3 it could be even easier to set up and just cheese heists on OVK.

Why do i love Payday? This right here is why. So many other companies would just go silent, make a single tweet image that says "oops sorry umm we'll try to fix that" but not Payday the team over there, they are gamers like we are gamers. Am i totally excusing the awful launch of the game, no absolutely not. But i will give credit when credit is due that you can truly feel the love the team has for their product.

Of course it does but they are working on it and they even said this game is their 10 year. Honestly just wish I could see what levels with what difficulty have people playing, rather than blind matchmaking and hoping for the best
this glitch has been happening to me (probably other players aswell) where after completing a heist and seeing all the attachments I unlocked and levels I levelled up, said attachments and levels I'd gone up in weren't showing/didn't go through, however sometimes this could be fixed by closing and reopening the game but unfortunately sometimes not.
I usually go into a tutorial heist and just exit right away, takes 10 seconds and every time it's refreshed my inventory and new attachments etc.
Though I remember it could take like 3-4 heists to get some of the equipment such as the first armour you unlock during the first day of early access
It's probably a delay with syncing with the server, assuming progression isn't stored/verified clientside.
I'm really hoping for an estimated XP system when you look at heists like in payday 2. So far there's a penalty for doing the same heist over and over again, but I'm having to test it out and note down how much I get etc. To try getting any sense out of it. I also really miss seeing how much money I get from bags and such when picking it up in the heist.
Also the challenges are a mess to look through, plus bugged progression and such on many of them. There's been less matchmaking issues for the last 2 days which is good. Expecting the weekend to cause issues though
Communication to the community and understanding with the community is more important and appreciated then a perfect launch we have had many games launch terribly and with poor or no response we expect bumps from games at this point and the response is what seems to be what matters these days and I think your handling it very well and appreciate it and look forward to the progress of the game

@@mangoesbbq5345 it's also clear that they tested and didn't find issues and that the server partner was partially to blame whoever they could have done a large open beta test to stress test servers like a mmo does but with it being they're first always online and players playing in groups of 4 and the testing they did do passing there was no reasson to indicate a need for a larger scale test that's something I'm sure they've learned and hopefully any other developer takes away from this as a community we should be somewhat understanding especially since they're on it and keeping us updated and apologized were a real apology not just show boating like most do for publicity
Downside of modern gaming is that things do launch badly most of the time, but the upside is that in some of those cases devs try to turn it into the game the community wants. No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk are fantastic examples. Go back to CP2077, the 2.0 update did a lot to make the game great.

@@hkillerprcross progression is the ability to play your account on multiple consoles. Cross play is the ability for 2 different consoles and or PC to play together.
If you watch the stream they do mention multiple times there’s no confirmation yet as the games just now post launch and focus on QoL changes. As well as server fixing. Don’t demand on a game they want to fix before adding new content. No game today is flexible like them.
@@hkillerpr if you open up offline mode within the debug menu and play whatever progress you have online is what you have, you make 0 progress even if you managed to possibly hold out long enough for a weapon to be maxed out it'll mean nothing, loot will mean nothing.
One of the questions was "Can we be able to disarm all dye packs in solo?" and I feel like the fun and obvious solution is already one they've used in other heists, where you have one of the bank workers disable two for you.
I don't mind if you made solo have additional or harder steps than you would have in co-op because part of the fun is the burden being entirely on yourself, makes it satisfying to complete.
Better yet: have them not go off AT ALL in stealth, and have the crew AI help out when going loud

The vault was accessed legitimately by a bank employee, why would the dye packs detonate at all if the system recognises proper vault access? If it was accessed after the alarm had gone off then I'd understand, but in stealth? It doesn't make sense to me at all
@@DodgeJohnson1 Maybe it requires another extra step like a sign off from an outside company or something. Payday has done that before with Big Bank. It's a bit of a cop out but some extra check the Payday gang can't (yet) deal with would give it a reason.

Can you please bring back, the famous “persist F-Key” spam all over loose jewellery, it was so addictive and made the duffle bag’s actually feel in a way you heap up the serious amounts of gliss. I think it's good to remember that unlike many game companies, Starbreeze does listen to their playerbase and tries to do right by them. I was just as disappointed and mad with all the server issues but never lost faith in them trying fix things. That doesn't mean that we should stop letting ourselves known and complain when issues arise. Just make sure to not attack the devs. They're human, they make mistakes. And they're self-aware enough to try to fix them. You got my respect Starbreeze. Just please keep the servers stable.

@@sei_asagiri Payday 2 is 10 years old and has over 240 updates. Payday 3 released a week ago. There also are no repeat heists in Payday 3. Unlike Payday 2 which had 5 branch banks and 2 jewellery stores. And Four Stores. This is like saying that CoD Black Ops 2 sucked ass on launch because Modern Warfare 3(2011) has 5 DLC packs(I'm counting the MW2 ports).
What about re roll all random elements on restart? It's too much easy to go stealth if you can gather information from previous tries. In payday 2 it gets random every try and was much better.

guys you need to adjust the dead zone settings for ps5. the constrolls are not on par with other games. it's hard to be agile and accurate at the same time. i have a high sensitivity to move around but the minmum movement of the controler stick the game reacts to, makes it not possible to shoot accurate at distance. i had to same problem in dayday 2 on ps4.

In spite of the outages, I have been enjoying the game alot. It's nice that in every game I've played everyone tries to stealth and no one asks if we should and when it goes loud people generally don't just quit so that shows that builds are pretty viable in both playstyles so they don't impede each other.
I also love all the new cop behaviours that make cops feel more tactical like cops forming up around Shields, moving through spaces as squads and throwing grenades into rooms before breaching as well as behaviour changes based on hostage presence.
Overkill weapons are also a great of bringing back the silly OP weapons from PD2, like the flamethrower, RPG and minigun, in a way that's balanced and requires that overwhelming power to be earned. Would love a Bulldozer style suit as an Overkill weapon that gives players overwhelming defence instead of offence, via a massive amount of armour at the cost of slow speed, and a brief time to become the bulldozer yourself.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about lobbies not being marked as Stealth or Loud (which, yes that would be nice) but literally every game I've had with randoms has been pseudo-stealth like you're describing. People will try to stealth as far as possible, but no one backs out when it goes loud the way that they would in Payday 2. Overall I think that's made for a much better experience than getting kicked immediately from stealth or loud lobbies when you have the wrong loadout equipped lol.
@@brenudo997 It helps that a player without a silenced gun or stealth skills can still help alot.
And people not backing out leads to a more "heist movie" experience. The classic heist movie premise is a heist going stealthy but they mess up and have to recover and Payday 3's lobbies are that most of the time.
I think a loud/stealth flag is rather unnecessary as currently you can't join a heist mid-heist (as far as I know) so knowing the plan isn't necessary while having it at the start will just start arguments and lead people to leave lobbies because the lobby doesn't want to do it "their way".
Plus I like not knowing what the plan and other player skills are. Adds to the replayability.

This is just a thought but can you make badger a DLC character? But it is still a badass game regardless the game play was 10/10 my opinion minus the sever issues
What boogles my mind is, that it doesnt feel good ,to play the way you want. Because the enemys are always the same level, the same hp, no dmg fall of, and I guess they stagger you (Cant confirm that honestly) .. And since they spawn, wherever you are, you cant even kill a few to make yourself a pocket to breath and escape, like in payday 2. Dont get me wrong. Fighting cops inside is engaging. And yes, I can go down more times with my light balistic vest than the rest of my team. But if anything, it hurts their progess in carrying bags. Like, even if I want to be speedy and stun the enemy with granade spec, they still hit like a ton ... And especially the fuse boxes for the 3 "Bollacks?" (I dont know the english word) ... You know, what hinders your transporter from showing up in NRFTW ... I always feel, if I already know the mechanic of the boxes, I should sprint ahead and disable them. (Because they are not highlighted from afar. Its a miricale if you bumble into one, as a noob. (Same with hostages) (Also not highlighted) ... (And the basic fact that your bots always will kill a cop across the street, when negotioan phase comes arround.) ... (And that at a certain point, the cops will take no break at all. Grinding you to death in an endless assult) But it always feels, like an enemy is always there, before I get there. I dont even see them mostly. Like basic enemys need 4 headshoots with the pistol and to be diabled ... And they hit you over two roads aways, like they have aim bot. And they surround you, like 2 Cops spawning on each side. And especially, I even put points into, that I can move faster with a human shield that Ive taken. But even that doesnt even STOP THEM ... NO its like a ducking invitation for one of the cops to sprint threw, and try stun you, punching the hostage out of your shoulder. Like, not that that just isnt fun? It also means that the 2 points I spent for 10% movement speed with human shield, were a waste-. And since they focus on keeping the amount on enemys thin, for better server latency? Thats exactly the problem. You kill them and they respawn so fast, its insane. Not to mention, that a bulldozer drops the instant you carry your bags away. Also, it almost felt sometimes, that even after 20 min of steath, and suddenly something goes wrong? There isnt even a recon group of cops who come first. Or even easier swat. Cause, thats what they said: Every enemy has the same stats and hp, no matter what. In payday 2, there were different kind of bulldozers and cops, depending on the difficulty and how much time has passed, since the alarm rang. And so. Yeah. It sucks. And even, that light balistic vest, rengenerates your armor plates dmg even slightly faster? Once the plate is broken. Its broken. So, its no fun for me, mostly because, it teases me with new skills potential. And I always fall in a kind of thinking, off: "How can I break my habits." ... But no skill at all, even does a slight bit of difference. I have 15 skillpoints and even I hapen to flash a lot of ppl? And they armor is toast? And I can pull a smoke granade pin on an enemy cop? They still hit like a truck even threw smoke. Sorry. Its NOT FUN. Stealth is dandy. Hostange taking is too. But getting bags to the truck on loud? No way. Not to mention, that "Since the developers vision of you fighting cops, is going back in cover and regenerating all the dmg you took." You endlessly grind with the enemy. And after 2 Waves the fuse boxes will be needet to disable again. And that I think is a mechanic. Like, I dont see cops enableling them. I honestly think, that every time you call the transporter, you have to do this minigame again. How am I even supposed to carry two completly new playes threw this dumb shit?

I hope someone from payday will see this but I been playing the game and I only able to get 1 achievement and that's it on pc and Xbox and I never get the other achievements I got or should had gotten when I played missions and such + I spent $100 on this game and the Crossplay is still broken I can't find friends or invite them to the game when I have it set for crossplay I tryed to do it for 3 hours trying to invite my friend we did give up last night on it can you please work on those things ASAP @payday 3

I had this idea and it seems so perfect… ‘Houston Breakout’ where Hox has to swallow his personal issues to help Houston. This not only is a funny wordplay on the iconic heist from Payday 2 but a great character development as in more dire situations for the payday squad, personal grudges need to be set aside for a better future for the squad.

Good idea narratively, especially if Hoxton has unique dialogue if he's being used in the heist, but it would need different gameplay from Hoxton Breakout as the Road Rage heist's part where you move the truck is akin to Hox Breakout's car section.

Eh... while they have good reasons for always online, it's still a bad idea even if implemented well. They should take Left 4 Dead as an example and allow players the option to host a game.
Why have central servers? Just have people host their own lobbies like in the last game. Why make this change to begin with?

They're are so many examples of them lying or at least decieveing players but ok ig. If you wanna defend a company with millions maybe billions who knows for no reason then go for it. Payday 2 even had more characters, heist, skills, Infamy options, mask, etc. They're blaming everyone else, lying, and even silencing their community about this stuff.

Any plans to go after rage quitters who leave early when the heist doesn't go as they had planned? I play stealth and loud and stealth players constantly cut and run when it goes loud and as I have zero comms on PS5 I have no way to mitigate this. Also your reporting system isn't functioning on PS5. I can't actually type out the reason why I am reporting someone. This game is incredibly lacking in basic services. When it works it is nearly a perfect game but the public play experience is not welcoming. And that is saying something as this is one of the most bipolar communities I have ever been a part of. The coolest people play but also the biggest jerks I have ever met.
Go on a forum and look for some friends to play with. The matchmaking isn't ready for stealth heists really.

Really appreciate the transparency from OVK/Starbreeze. Obviously servers on launch went sideways, and that sucks, but it seems like ensuring that doesn't happen again is a big priority for the team right now. There are some things that I'd like to see improved in regards to progression, such as clearer indication to the player of what they're progressing, which Andreas has already confirmed they're working on. But the Payday community is a resilient one. We've seen stuff go poorly before (Safes, Epic Games Update, etc etc etc) but the devs have always managed to pull the game back on track. The fresh start (or, Tabula Rasa?) that we've gotten with Payday 3 is a great jumping off point for the coming years. They've managed to simplify the vast amount of content in Payday 2, all of the skills, weapons, perk decks, heists, etc. and streamline years worth of hits and misses into a small but varied weapon pool, fewer (but more impactful) skills, and some of the best-designed heists we've seen. It's clear that Payday 3 was made with a ton of lessons learned from Payday 2, and I have faith that the devs will use this launch as a learning opportunity to improve Payday 3 further. I know we're all excited for them to start cranking out DLCs and extra content, but I'm glad that they're taking the time to clean up some of the rough spots with the base game first, so that they have a stable foundation to start building on. After all, what's the point in having underbarrel flamethrowers or the fucking Typhoon from Crysis if we don't have a game to use them in?

Transparency? They banned anyone in their discord and turned it on private when people started asking why the game is not working. They blamed Xbox and PlayStation for server issues. They blamed PlayStation for PlayStation players not being able to play the beta even though they were the ones who gave the wrong keys to PlayStation. They blamed online only on their new partner even though that's not true. When they paid content creators they gave them scripts of things they weren't allowed to talk about (which I understand for lore purposes but they asked them not to bring up browser and matchmaking issues.) They had more content in the launch of payday 2 then three. During the payday 3 beta they even had more content but they took out things like server browsing. When they first went live they said the servers were full which ended up being a lie on Twitter. When people on that live kept asking the most he would say is the servers are full and then try to distract people saying jacket coming back or kaybe sokol coming back acting like were 7 years old and will be distracted by something shinny. Have whatever opinion you want but I don't think they're transparent. Almir is their PR (Public relations) it's literally his job to make people interested and not mad.

He was the one who gave us the line "Payday 2 will never have microtransactions, and shame on you if you thought otherwise". I wasn't on the discord but if it was anything like their xbox store reviews, steam reviews, youtube comments, and instagram comments during launch, it was probably 90% people just talking shit and complaining about the servers, which isn't helpful. My comment was prefaced pretty clearly that I'm being optimistic. In my experience over 10 years of playing Payday 2, there hasn't been a shitshow that they haven't apologized for and fixed. This Q&A was pretty much an hour of them answering the same few questions and giving what answers they could, or explaining why they didn't have an answer yet. They didn't have to do that. I'd say that's some level of transparency. If they end up just making the game worse and killing it entirely, then yeah I'll eat my words. But neither you nor I, nor Almir and Andreas, can say if that will be the case. I've been optimistic about Overkill in the past and it's turned out pretty good overall, so I'm gonna keep on being optimistic until they prove me wrong.

I find it childish releasing a game that's not finished. I find it childish getting mad at people opinions/actions because it doesn't line up with yours. Even two days before launch on gold edition there were server issues and no one cares to bring that up. They also lied about the servers being full. They blamed their partner company for doing online only even though it was their idea. They blamed PlayStation and Xbox for their game not working and people not getting the extra content they paid for. When they went live to address the issues they never addressed anything really, they lied about the servers being full and then they kept trying to distract us by saying "oh maybe Jimmy will come back" or " oh maybe jacket will come back since he's unaccounted for" and then bro went on to start talking to Ice T. They made a game online only know the community does not want that and they couldn't even put in voice chat. PlayStation players who bought the preorder couldn't even play it and they once again blamed PlayStation and refuse to offer compensation. They've done everything they can to push blame on every other company while trying to act like they did nothing wrong and at the same time acting like their taking accountability. Now how do you take accountability when you blame everyone except urself and act like you did nothing wrong? Again the servers were messed up before launch and when launch came they lied saying it was just full. It's not even like they were down a couple hours, they were down 3 days and I won't be surprised if they go down again somehow. I swear you people are either bots or you're the few couple thousand who were actually able to play the game. Because I don't see you single where you can defend this game/company. The same shit launch happened to payday 2 but at least there was content in that game at release. This game feels like I'm still playing the beta except there was at least more content in the beta

Also why did you pay content creators to lie about ur game and then trash talk their community for disagreeing? Why did you not only private ur discord during the launch you proceeded to BAN everyone in ur discord who said anything about the launch. You do realize Payday 2 came with even less variety in heists...also do you even understand the concept of why it is always online? It is to make it so everyone plays the same game, across all platforms, it is really the consoles you need to cry about that are the reason this is a thing, and it was something that we the players wanted.
Payday 2 started with less? In addition, if you expect devs to make a massive game with endless content in the years they had. Then your expected a broken game.
