Kerem has a modest, traditionalist and conservative lifestyle that considers family sacred. When some people in Turkey who think of themselves as elite look at his life, they hate Kerem because it reminds them of their own sins such as immorality, drinking, gambling and prostitution. Long story short, it would be more accurate to say that Kerem fled his own country due to this stress. Yes he had some criticism from the fans but the reason for him to leave was some people in GS management. They even took his captain title in the squad. Most fans wouldn't prefer him leaving especially for such a low price.
This kid was the cleanest one of the entire galatasaray team. The most complete player of Turkey in the Euro's 24. I hate his stupid goal celebration but I like his character and talent. He deserved this transfer and boy am I glad to see him gone. Nobody knew his value because the fans are little spoiled brats. I am glad that he went to Benfica; creators of the champions.
It was the right moment Kerem left the club, just had to be earlier in this transfer window and not at the very last day. And for that price it is a steal. The board messed up big time there. Even tough the promise was made that we would give the green light when the right club came for his signature, it shouldn't have been below the 25M mark and that isen't even how much I value him. Kerem has a great story and I always loved him for that. Coming from the very bottom off the leagues and climbing all the way to the top, like a fairy tale, shining at Old Trafford, and Bayern last season in the Champions League, the partnership with Icardi. Boy, will I miss that. I'm glad he left the toxic enviroment that was created by the unthankfull few cunts that call themselves supporters. I'll always be disgusted by those kind cause now Kerem's gone, they'll soon pick a new scapegoat (like they did with Berkan) and target him and I'm afraid the next one will be Baris Alper YIlmaz. All the best to OUR wizard, Kerem Potter! 💛❤
I'm guessing that you're half Turkish and I have to say that this video is very accurate. But to add to it, many Gala fans loved him and supported him no matter what, including myself. But the vocal and toxic minority (still a huge amount of people tho) hated him. And you didn't mention this on the video but a good amount of people hated him just for his religion. As a non-muslim person myself, I have many non-muslim friends(!). Every time I heard them criticizing Kerem, it was something like "Oh, he'll play better because he's not fasting today. Oh, he won't play good today because it's a bad day for Erdogan (People keep saying that he's an Erdogan supporter because he is Muslim)" this probably makes zero sense for a foreigner but it is what it is. I felt terrible when I watched him leave while the entire fanbase was focusing on the Osimhen deal. He was one of our captains and he always will be. But I'm honestly so happy for him. He got away from the toxicity and people criticizing his every single move. He's at a better place both mentally and physically. And his streams looked like he was more relaxed now. I wish him the very best. And for the Benfica fans, keep believing in him no matter what. There will be matches where he doesn't perform like a God, he's a human after all. But he will give his %100 no matter what.

watched him against bayern munich, in 55 minutes before being subbed off he made two passes and nothing else. He's good against weak opposition no good against good opposition. Makes sense why gala dumped him. Was terrible against young boys.
Sad but true.. Turkiye doesn't have much going on with developing youth talents. There is no football culture, there is no consistency... What happens is the club owners focus on short term and spending money/wasting money on retired players.
@@geccenbunlariaslan Okay...Good to know.. Basically they don't do much to change the landscape. They buy old players for high and never make a profit let along break even. Where goes the money and why isn't Turkiye a country like Spain or Germany? It's lacking discipline, culture and tempo from the players to the top. It is getting us nowhere with that kind of mentality. We need a consistent competitive football structure on global level. Turkish Futbol is in desperately need for youth talents inside the country, that also will improve the competition and also generate income for the clubs. There are more talents that never get the chance or never gets discovered because of poor club facilities. The majority will be overlooked, because I haven't seen any amateur clubs in Turkiye, for example how many football clubs does Ankara (with a population of 6 million) have? Compared to a small town (with a population of 30.000) in West Europe that has well facilitated handful football clubs to train and filter talented/skilled players. When I watch the Turkish competition the Turkish players don't have the ability to keep up with the tempo, are too busy with falling on the pitch, whining and crying and after the match going to a party. But luckily some players like in our national team are doing great job, and the Turkish players that having their talents developed in west Europe whether they were born there or by transfer adds incredible value to our national team. That's my take on it.
No he's not perfoming well not because of less pressure, its just because he's actually performing. The pressure in the Portuguese league, specially Benfica is great. Lose one match and its the end of the world.
Arguable cause its even worse at GS. Draw a game, you're shit, win a game, you're shit, the idea is so stupid as if we have to get like 5 goals per win.
He is coming from a season where he like didint lost and rival team didint lost either with 30 million fan eachside having fans pressure he is having in benfica is like massages to him right now lmao
@@segwhkamaza6447 Don't think you understand but unless you play one of the Big 3, he has 65,000 fans each matchday scrutinizing him, plus the media. That's even worse, Portuguese media is scum and they always look for something. Our WC campaign was the prime example of that
great video but the last part of kerem being sold for Oshimens wages is wrong. Yes they agreed to 12m because of that (that transfer fee was lover than his market value witch was 17m ) but kerem leaving was confirmed at the end of last season while he had a great form.
7:29 "doing nothing wrong", yes man, people reacted against him for no reason and got angry lol. The mistakes he made cost both the team and himself a lot. We must not deny that there were times when he played well but things were getting out of hand. I'm happy for him that he's at least getting a fresh start now and playing without stress, but you can't say he's done nothing wrong for sure.
nice vid but kerem wanted to leave. his dream is always playing abroad. but ye we didint support him best we boo him sometimes CUZ HE WAS MISSING SO MANY nvm gs wanted to hold him. he started league in first team scored goal and assist before leave. Benfica got a free deal with kerem. spartak wanted him first kerem didint wanna go there but when benfica made offer he went straight to president and ask to leave. Great character ambitious. We all wishing him best luck and benfica have now 50m supporters in turkey!
Good video imagine being slapped in a game by your own teammate..they didn’t appreciate him until the last moments but love this useless Baris Yilmaz.. Good that he went abroad..
Good fit for Benfica, wasn't a good fit for Galatasaray. Weak fundamental, no first touch. If you can hide those weaknesses and play to his strengths like finishing and assisting, all good.
I found the joke funny but FYI most of us turks including me sometimes are really triggered by being called arabs and reasınably so. Our ancestors came far from the middle east. Its one of the worst insults to a turk.
Amazing video but just one correction: "Less Pressure" He's playing in Benfica where is mandatory to win every cup even if u loose any Champions league match u can get critized and if you see why Roger Schmidt got fired with Benfica playing 10M fee for him to leave u will see... Vandalized houses, Object throw to the coach and his staff team, Insults to his mom. So I just beleive that Benfica fans are appreciating Kerem talent and we do love when players give 100% in the field even if they have a bad match for us the players need to leave their sould in the field and Kerem is player like that beside the goals and assists. If you watch Kokcu and Kerem interview Kokcu tell Kerem about the pressure to win matches and play GOOD. Winning matches is not enough in Benfica
you dont get the concept of pressure. Galatasaray has over 40 million fans, there is no escape from this pressure for a player even if you to the other side of the planet you will face some crazy fans who will ask you stupid questions like "why did you miss that goal, why did you lose the ball that night".
@@ugurcan969 you clearly don’t know Benfica. Benfica have the Guiness record of fans. Portugal have 10 millions population but Benfica is bigger than that. And as I said that crazy fans there are a lot in Benfica throwing rocks to the Benfica bus and stuff like that just search and u will find.
@@martingoncalves8214 Throwing rocks to club buss or attacking and disturbing opponents is not a sign of pressure on players but vandalism. Okay let me give you a number then, what’s the number of folllowers of Benfica on instagram? 3M . And Galatasaray ? 16.2 million. So if you play on Galatasaray , you are being followed, bullied , supported or being disturbed by 16.2 million fans every day. So this is what happened to Kerem Aktürkoğlu. He missed couple goals and instantly social media started a witch hunt on him. Not just social media, Gala fans will follow them everywhere, in streets in vacations they will make players feel like they are being watched. If you play well and match to expectations no issues you will be praised like angels. But if you make mistakes you will be punished even during the championship ceremony. Yes Benfica is an old club with lots of fans but you can’t compare it to Galatasaray.
He was fully developed by Galatasaray buddy. Benfica did not add anything on his ability. You will see if he misses a few goals, he will get stuck there. He is mentally weak. If he solves that issue he will be within top 10 in europe for many years ..
Nah I think you are hella biased. I agree Kerem is a good player, but him playing in the Prem and being one of worlds best wingers is kind of unrealistic. He is 26, rather old for a Prem club to take a chance on him. Age is just a number, but most players have to get used to the Prems tempo, additionally he is Turkish. I cant think of any Turkish player that has done well in the Prem.
That's rubbish at the end. Even though Benfica is a top club, sorry to break it to you but Gala is World Class. Yes, Benfica is much better with respect to creating talent, but after that it's game over. Pay closer attention to Gala. Just ask Bayern and MANU fans...
Also the reason why Kerem left for pennies is b/c HE wanted to go! Playing in Turkey is idiotic. Even Mourinho can't handle it. There's too much pressure and he wanted to get away and stay sane and show his true potential, which he still hasn't. But also, there's the fact that we Turks are unfortunately near-mediocre second-hand human beings when it comes to football. We need to go to Europe even if in undervalued terms. That's why Kerem went. If Gala had a logo of a European club on their jersey, same staff, same players, same facilities, we'd dominate Europe. But there's something changing in Turkish football-I've been saying it everywhere-for the past 1-2 years. Kerem and Gala coach Okan Buruk were/are the primary reasons I restarted watching Turkish football and a Turkish club or Turkey will reach at least Semi-Finals in a major tournament (not Europa League) in the next five years. Please comment below if you wanna make a bet :)
Oh, yeah, and btw, have you seen Yunus? Now, HE, is the real surprise! B/c we all new Kerem had potential but Yunus... he's changing his mindset. I never expected to see this much "European" quality from him! If he goes on like this, which is the million dollar question, which is why we are so very surprised, he'll surely surpass Kerem in transfer next year.
Nah bro, you tripping 😂😂😂 Titles? Benfica European titles? Benfica European finals, goals, matches? By faaaar, Benfica. Benfica is one of a hand few legendary clubs in european football. Gala is definitely the Benfica of Turkey, the biggest turkish club, no doubt. But don't compare a giant (Benfica) with a great club (Galatasaray).
@ I may be exaggerating but benfica have 2 european titles. Come on. Thats really not much different. All Im saying is theres something to Gala that’s unseen now.
That Basaksehir club really screwed him over.
But if he goes Manchester United he’s really finished 😂😂

Aman aman nereye geldik böyle... Ne güzel bir içerik ve kanalmış burası. Hafif Türk aksanlı akıcı İngilizce konuşarak uluslararası içerik çıkartmak... Tebrikler :)
Defiantly a good player just has to increase his involvement in games go disappearing less and reduce his errors in decision making very exciting player
watched him against bayern munich, in 55 minutes before being subbed off he made two passes and nothing else. He's good against weak opposition no good against good opposition. Makes sense why gala dumped him. Was terrible against young boys.
Sad but true.. Turkiye doesn't have much going on with developing youth talents. There is no football culture, there is no consistency... What happens is the club owners focus on short term and spending money/wasting money on retired players.
we don't have club "owners", but presidents. they're usually elected by club members (differs from club to club according to their charter)
Draw a game, you're shit, win a game, you're shit, the idea is so stupid as if we have to get like 5 goals per win.
the pressure is the same i guess, but sometimes some new wind is enough to perform.

I'm still heartbroken when I heard Gala was gonna sell him
HE IS HIM.
He is the gift from Fatih Terim to Turkish and World football.
nice video . true way to say aktürkoğlu , probably ure turk
Yaw bi bırak ya... artık bir noktadan sonra cıkkını çıkardınız şu nefretinizin
nice vid but kerem wanted to leave. his dream is always playing abroad. but ye we didint support him best we boo him sometimes CUZ HE WAS MISSING SO MANY nvm gs wanted to hold him. he started league in first team scored goal and assist before leave. Benfica got a free deal with kerem. spartak wanted him first kerem didint wanna go there but when benfica made offer he went straight to president and ask to leave. Great character ambitious. We all wishing him best luck and benfica have now 50m supporters in turkey!
Still scoring...8 matches 10 goals 6 assissts.
Script, edit, ses... Her şeyiyle diğer videolarından çok daha iyi olmuş. Tebrikler. Devam...

If Aktürkoğlu was a Brazilyan and not a Turk, if Aktürkoğlu was Aktürkinyo , he would now have 200 million euros. Anyone who claims otherwise is gay.

Harry Potter
I think ure Kurdish and just jealiousing about Turkish guy
biggest club in country? whats this perspective? like wtf
He was fully developed by Galatasaray buddy. Benfica did not add anything on his ability. You will see if he misses a few goals, he will get stuck there. He is mentally weak. If he solves that issue he will be within top 10 in europe for many years ..
You are the type of fan he was talking about. I think YOU are weak
How should he solve that in turkiye where everyone loses their mind just because he didnt score a goal
@@Fanboy1222 check his past games. Especially the goal he missed against Bayern Munich last year.

bro u dont like him bc hes turkish and ur kurdish....come on
Nah I think you are hella biased.

Nah bro, you tripping 😂😂😂
Titles? Benfica
European titles? Benfica
European finals, goals, matches? By faaaar, Benfica.
Benfica is one of a hand few legendary clubs in european football. Gala is definitely the Benfica of Turkey, the biggest turkish club, no doubt. But don't compare a giant (Benfica) with a great club (Galatasaray).
@ I may be exaggerating but benfica have 2 european titles. Come on. Thats really not much different. All Im saying is theres something to Gala that’s unseen now.
