Mr Samir is a misguided individual. Beggars can't be choosers. Why is asking for UNSC for India with per capita income of less than 3K and loses to China in every war? Increase GDP to 25 K and develop military capability instead of buying weapons from money earned by low skilled laborers in the middle east.

This was definitely a great discussion and hope this becomes some kind of force behind the restructuring of UN and it's various bodies.

It's difficult, Caz for restructuring it requires the approval from founding members, that won't happen..... only way to change it is to make a complete different new UN and demolish the old UNSC

Make a global south Block with India as base. Let all the countries who are not represented be part of the group. That is a big action than asking for change from the elite countries.

All good, but then why not just leave the UN? We are the world’s most populous country now - we should lead and start a new grouping with Africa and Latin America and East Asia

    • @parthparth433

      New grouping for what ?
India still lacks economic and military might for that .
India isn't china as of now in econ.
Rt now focus on economy by increasing manufacturing. Rest is all talk.

All nations except the 5 permanent members should leave the UN and form their own organisation. The permanent members should be welcome to join - but without their vetoing power. ASAP.

  • @cheg4070
    @cheg4070 Год назад +1

UNSC has 5 permanent members: China, France, Russian, United Kingdom, and the US
Ten non-permanent members elected for two-year terms by the General Assembly (with end of term year):
    Albania (2023)
    Brazil (2023)
    Ecuador (2024)
    Gabon (2023)
    Ghana (2023)
    Japan (2024)
    Malta (2024)
    Mozambique (2024)
    Switzerland (2024)
    United Arab Emirates (2023)
This really is a joke. How can India not be in this group.

Nobody listens if per capita GDP is less than 3K and the country wins 0 gold medals in Olympics and the industrial base underdeveloped. Increase per capita GDP to 15K and win 20 medals, UNSC will follow. Otherwise, anyone who listens to this plea will smirk and think what a waste of time.

We are 192 Nations and, Countries, and we like *Speakers Corner* in *London's Hyde Park.* We just speak, and *nobody implements our decisions.* We are *Speakers' Corner, no more, no less.* We just make speeches and then disappear. This is who you are right now.
*Mr. Maummar Gaddifi's Speech at the 2009 United Nations General Assembly*
    ...........................................
68 wars have been broken out since 1945.
*Is it common goal or in our interest.*
No not all, these are in *interest of one or two of these State that hold "Permanent Seats with "Veto Power"*
    ...........................................
We are not equally "Sovereign", in terms of "Preamble", of the Charter of UNO.
There is only the State of *China* which hold this Permanent Seat in the Security Council and that holds this post *being elected* in the UNSC through *Democratic Process.* All the rest of the four out of five are not elected through Democratic process, USA, UK, then USSR and France. There is no mention of criteria in the *Charter of UNO.*
    Only criteria is *Supper Power.*
There must only be *a seat for the European 27 Countries.*
African Union, Latin America's Countries, ASEAN Countries, SADC 57 Islamic Countries and 118 "NAM, each must hold *One Seat in the United Nations Security Council* so that *a General Will of the People of the Nations/World for "PEACE" among 192 Nations/State could prevail for Long lasting, Durable, and Sustainable "Peace Mission", in accordance with the terms as enshrined in it*

Tho the existence of these 2 states are #Trivial to the planet and #Nuisance for the region but the "Stability & Peace" are things achievable only by Collaboration, not by Condemnation towards what they are!
