You did fine with that blindside backing. Some drivers just back up and pray they succeed, but you did it the safe way and no damage done. 😊👍🏽 Let’s see that cat 🐈 you have riding on the road, please. Safe travels. 🏍🇺🇸🎒
Welcome to the world of trucking you handled that with class my brother keep your cool I enjoy your videos I'm retired stay safe stay blessed the brother from Virginia
Hey brotha man ive been out here otr for 13 years now and your doing great, keep pushing and just know your blessed. You will learn something new everyday out here on the road young man, the day you think you know everything in this career is the day you ahould retire lol. Good job out here
Love your videos, I’m currently local working for a food delivery company, and I’m miserable here, everything is unorganized and equipment barely works, wanna get my tanker endorsement and go regional or OTR. Videos like this motivate to do it. Keep it up the great work brotha and stay safe out there
That car parked at that Mickey Ds Truck Parking spot is 9/10 a local driver(maybe OTR and lives in town) and parks personal vehicle there and whenever they come back, moves the car and puts the truck in the spot.
Blindside backing is always tough with a sleeper. No getting around that. At least you got out the truck to assess the situation. I'v seen them back up until they HIT something
Brother I'ma about to get my CLP thinking about getting my training with dollar general.. really like watching your vids.. much respect to you brother!! Stay safe out there!!✊🏾💯🔥
What's up bro I'm really been thinking on getting into the food grade division just trying to find out if it's hard and if prime a good company to start with? I mean I haven't got CDL'S yet but know a little about trucking already because I come from family of drivers
Absolutelycheck your 5th wheel lock. Too many people are pulling peoples pins nowa days just to mess with a company. I always give a tug test each day as well.
Always wear footwear in truck stop showers. Don't forget your wash out ticket. 🤣 very good with the blind side. Always get out and look you did it perfect.
Not good at blind side backing? Lol! Did you get it in the spot? Did you hit anything? Nope! Then you good! You got out you looked the most important part!
Good videos brother ! How often do you take breaks Like to stretch Would it be every few hours? How about bathroom breaks how does that work ? How much stuff do you bring with you such as suits of clothes and such ?
Thank you. When I stop to us the bathroom I’ll stretch then. Also on my 30 minute break. You can just find a bathroom to us whenever need be. I’ll bring enough clothes for about a week or 2 and just wash them
That’s cool 😎 I was thinking about driving Still not sure was just trying to get a little info and watching your vids seems helpful I just wasn’t sure on the schedule I would think you would take a break every 3 or 4 hours to stretch to try stay fresh
@@VezOnTheRoad Thanks. Just found your channel and watched a couple of videos and enjoyed them. I drove reefer for Prime several years ago. Stay safe out there. You got a new subscriber.
Any advice on how to get into tankers with no experience i called prime and they rejected me because i have no tanker experience and every hazmat/tanker company seems to ask for experience in the tankers field kind of hard to get a chance to learn the tankers job with nobody is able to give you a shot at it
I’m not sure bro. I got my experience through prime. Try another major company. See if they will train you and get your foot in the door that way. Keep doing your research and calling around I’m sure someone will give you a chance.
Nine times out of ten you see a car parked there because they are a local driver and park their truck there when home then when they go to work they pull their truck out and park their car their to hold their spot when they get done for the day.
Who cares if you're not that great at the blindside parking? I think every trucker can understand and appreciate somebody at night making sure it's safe to back up.
Once you have been in the middle of the desert in summertime on the steel deck of a trailer in the 130 degree weather in full combat gear with the heat from the exhaust of a turbine engine of an Abraham tank blowing on you then you can talk about pain.
Never understood how people come into this country and barely speak english. I traveled in a lot of foreign countries just visiting and learned the basics. I couldn't understand anything the african dude was saying.
Any one who is messing with king pin relise handle deserves good beating. When you park, apply your trailer brakes, push forward like you do tug test and apply truck tuck parking break this should keep your Kung pin tight and it's a lot harder to pull on that handle.
I hope that wasn't some heavy duty toxic shit that will eat through that plastic glove. Taking that sample by hand? They better come up with better equipment.
@@VezOnTheRoad if they ever have you haul toxic stuff make sure to have proper equipment and know what to do when you get exposed to a product. I have seen videos when people are pulling some corrosive chemicals handling theme without respirators and talking how bad the feel while being next to. They forget that with in few years it will affect their health if they don't take care of themselves today.

I really appreciate it bro. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos
They definitely live close and leave the car hold they spot for the truck. Messed up but can't be mad at them. Good job on the blind side

The whole county hears it when I back under a loaded tank… I make sure that sucker is hooked!!! 😂😂😂
😂
I thought tanker was hauling to gas stations? What position are you? I like this better!!! Good job!!!
Other than blindside backing you could’ve used the space you had to turnaround and get a regular back
You should plan to park in rest areas or weigh stations if you can always easy parking especially in the weigh stations.
It’s pretty tough trying to find a spot at a rest area at night. They fill up really quick
Good job nephew
Content is good! Keep it going. Please keep the Time-lapse in especially if you're gonna go into a big city or something.

How long they give you to shower ? And Do I need my hazmat and tanker endorsements b4 I apply to prime or will they train me to get it ?

Silly question: if somebody pulls your release handle how do you fix that? Can you just push it back in or do u have to back under it again?
Good question: I would assume you would have to back up on it so the locking jaws would go around the kingpin.
