I'm a little surprised at the cynacism about the Princess Peach game. I can tell you as a dad of a young daughter, you have to remember who their target audience is and it's not 25-45 year old men. They're aiming at children, and using Princess Peach like this is a sure-fire way to get a whole ton of little girls to play their games. Not to mention, as one of those aforementioned adult men, I think it looks like a lot of fun.

I’ve been wanting to play TTYD for a while and considered emulating it since the price to obtain it anywhere is absurd these days, so I’m excited to play it for the first time when it comes out on Switch. I love the original Paper Mario, and the general consensus is that TTYD is at least as good if not better. I hope this remake has really good success and that future Paper Mario games will see a return to the original formula that made the early ones so great. Origami King was alright, but didn’t do it for me nearly as much as the original game did.

If you enjoyed the original N64 Paper Mario and even a bit of origami king, you are in for a *REAL* treat with this remaster.
Really hoping they re-tune the enemies in Mario RPG for the new mechanics. There are a few tough parts in the original but overall I think it could do with a difficulty bump
If you learn how to check which is the optimized level upgrade to choose (it cycles through in order) your stats raise to where the almost entire game is trivialized
I hope so too….like, maybe Nintendo will realize they’re going to get a massive amount of people playing this who played the original and want a tougher challenge, or at least a hard mode or something….probably won’t happen, but a man can dream lol
That 'random RPG bulltshit' you skipped though was Eiyuden Chronicle the newest game by the same team who made the old Suikoden games, a great RPG series which Konami being Konami decided to abandon like most of their games. I can completely understand not liking RPG's at all, but it's anything but random.

Definitely excited for some nostalgia along with the second game finally being translated and released here in the States.

I was seeing if people knew about them but man I'm not that surprised. Hotel Dusk I accidently found out about after trying to search for specific games to play, and man that was sleeper hit for me when I got it. They were so ahead of The DS functions
Specifically perfectly timed hits. In the original, you could deal/prevent some damage with decently timed hits, but if you got the timing just right, aka perfect, it would be even more effective. I wonder if it’ll be a single frame or maybe a few-frame window for the perfectly timed hit in the remake.

I don't think every timed attack will hit every enemy. They showed Bowser doing a timed attack before that without it hitting every enemy. Then said 'time your attacks perfectly' so I think it's more like a critical timed hit with a smaller window.
So looking forward to your playthrough of super Mario RPG and I don't think that paper Mario will disappoint. I love watching your content and and already in anticipation for a like button. Hell I'll make some extra accounts just to see that culex fight. So happy after how much we have complained and argued to get that remake. And I would love an Armageddon mod!!!❤❤❤
