This actually got a dub with alot of VAs you find in Fire Emblem. Including the one and only Wendee Lee as the woman with glasses.
This show might be better as Hentai with "plot" instead of Plot with "hentai"

and for some reason, this got a english dub. Oh, it gets better- it was those loveable hypocrites we all hate, Funimation, that did it. ..... keep that in mind, people: they okayed this, but not Interspecies Reviewers (not that i care- i don't like that show, but it's the go-to)

What made you pick this up?
You should see High school DxD if you want a better version honestly. Testament is heavily inspired by it but High School DxD has 4 seasons and has a lot of good reasons why. It's so much better with quite a bunch of character development, and has a LOT of focus on the story and characters while still having sexual and funny moments. What does make it hilarious is how big of a perv Issei is. It can get cringy to dumb but damn the shit he says can be funny. The characters are likable to even lovable at times. There is quite a focus on the ecchi but the story and characters outweigh that entirely. In my opinion anyway.

@Survivor 976 agree with everything you said just gonna add this if ShadowACS does decide to watch it. A large portion of season 3 was retconned in season 4 as it was a poorly recieved season and differentiated too drastically from the source material resulting in the studio that made the series changing and the much of the season 3 story never having taken place, though it is fairly obvious what they did and did not keep when transitioning from season 3 to season 4 via season 4's episode 0

Also love how as of right now, people have only commented about either the show or are asking requests for other anime (I heard about this show before, had a feeling it'd be trash based off the stupid title alone. Seriously, who thought that Sister New Devil would be a good idea? Unless someone translated wrong, but how can you mess it up that badly?) c:
Yay, ShadowACS back at it again. One thing that you do that‘s kinda annoying me is that you assume that a character is a rip-off of a different character, when it‘s pretty clear that they both just are examples of the same character archetype, in the case of that blue haired girl, it‘s pretty clear that she‘s just a generic kuudere/deadpan and not a rip-off of some DAL character.
The Trails/Kiseki series have Tio and Fie. And those two are some of the best Kuuderes I have seen yet.
I think some ecchi can work well with comedy like with Monster Musume.
True, ecchi shows work the best if they just embrace their absurdity and be lighthearted and mindless fun.

The censor version is better. Simply because it’s easier to focus on the story.

You post like once every 4 blue moons but I always appreciate your videos because of how blunt and honest you are. While I tend to like ecchi anime (hell highschool dxd is one of my favorite anime) but this one just felt boring. If this was like highschool dxd and had honestly good action and a more interesting power system then maybe it could have been a average dxd clone.

I will say, I like the concept and the hook of a disgraced hero being forced/manipulated to protect the next Demon Lord, but yea the execution could have been so much better

For me this was just another Ecchi filler, but I have seen worse...so much worse.
Time for Log Horizon now =D Especially now that the author is back at work producing volumes and it was a big money maker making several studios to say they would like to make season 3.

This anime just felt like diet Seikon no Qwaser and diet Highschool DxD. The ecchi scenes were just kinda mediocre in comparison. Credit where credits due though the soundtrack is amazing and Maria's a pretty great character.
