I am a pie junkie! I played guitar in bands most of my life. Was a sound engineer for almost two decades. I say this to give you props for your music choices and your perfect mix levels. Yet another talent you have mastered (besides making me hungry!). LOL
This will probably sound silly. One of the things I enjoy is your cooking and food selections. So often, all I see in videos are vegan choices, many of which I can't identify. I like to see that you cook in non-vegan choices. For me, it brings a sense of normalcy, from the days when I used to camp and backpack out.
I could’ve sworn you said, “Unfortunately there was no pot…”. I had to rewind and hear it again! Lol. Anyway I enjoyed this video. I would highly encourage you to purchase a small DJI drone. They have a “follow me” feature that would be a great addition to your hikes. It’s not complicated and if this old guy can do it surely you can!!
I briefly went on the most beautiful hike at Capitol Reef NP but then realized I didn’t bring TP and a small shovel to a PRIMITIVE trail with no bathrooms. I never hiked back to my car so quickly
I grabbed the wife! Put her in the truck and took off for Nevada. We explored around Pyramid Lake and the areas East of Reno. Then we went home. No camping for us. Your camera definitely captured the desert colors
Looks like you had some of that homemade ice cream. You’ll have go back for some of the delicious pie. My hubby and I each got a piece of pie and some of the ice cream. It tasted so good, we each went back and got a second piece of pie and ice cream. So we had each flavor of ice cream and 4 different kinds of pie between us to sample. We would like to go back and do your hike. Sometime you’ll have to Hickman Bridge and then up to Navajo Knob on a hike….was fabulous too! Thank you for another great adventure.
Love your show Catherine! A buffet of natural wonders. Thanks for sharing.... A toast to your past and future adventures 🥂. Live long and prosper. No pie this time, but good excuse to go back. Happy trails 👣
what? Out of pie... no. LOL. That is horrible. I truly enjoyed your meals, they all looked so great and also, that hike is stunning. Amazing arch and the beginning of the hike looks so amazing as well. Good thing it warmed up nicely for you on that hike.
Got to have rainy days, so we can have those wonderful rainbow and beautiful flower! And the rain erodes, over millions of years to give us the arches and colors, of the sandstone! ALL stay safe thank you
One of the many things I love about you is your buoyant and positive attitude. Thank you for capturing the breathtaking scenery and this wonderful park. ❤️
Enjoyed your very nice video. Glad you drove Moki Dugway, but you missed Muley Point. Capitol Reef N P is a favorite, so many great hikes there. I've been twice in Spring, once it snowed and once all the orchards were blooming, both times beautiful. Favorite hikes are Sulphur Creek and Pleasant Creek, but only in Summer...you get wet.
Ah, Spring weather, always a little unsettled. But you know what they say....April showers bring May flowers. Capital Reef NP is a gem of a place to visit. Plenty of good trails for all levels of difficulty. 4X4 roads for the more adventurous. And scenic views at every turn. Thanks for taking us along. Can't wait for your first backpacking trip this season. Be well, be safe and see you next week .
Dear Cat 😘👍🍀⭐️, we loved that video, but we are sad… no pie for you🥧 what an bad ego before in the line🤬😂 the landscape is so fantastic 🏜 we hope for it’s in 2023. 🤞☺️ so by the way, 🥁 brrrrrr… 69.900, common guys we await the 70.000 🍾🤩 We wish you a nice week, your crazy 😂big, huge Berlin Fan Couple, Nicole and Hardy 😘👍🍀
There's something to say for stormy weather with rain and other goodies! It shows us we are here as a part of, not the controllers of the environments! Mother nature can humble any species on this beautiful blue marble!
Catherine, There is no such thing as a "rainy day" when you are there, I'm sorry they were out of pies when you got there, You were looking forward to some pie and I could tell you were disappointed. Thanks for this beautiful video and stay safe.
Miss Catherine, there has never been any of Your Adventures, that I haven't enjoyed thoroughly!!!,When Sunday Arrives,I look so Forward to Seeing You,and All the Natural Beauty that You Bring,in All of Your Posts!,Utah has Such a Grandness!,it's Views can make a Person feel so Small!,and To Me,it Just seems like it Exudes a Sense of Peaceful Serenity in it's Vastness!!!,and Thankfully, that has become The Weekly Norm in All of Your Adventures!,Safe Travels Miss Catherine to Your Next Adventure!!!,and Thank You!!!
Catherine thank you thank you thank you you are so awesome so special you share the most beautiful things you make a rainy stormy day beautiful thank you God bless
My wife's great great grandfather Ephraim Pectol was the one who organized and led the campaign efforts to get the Capitol Reef area protected ultimately resulting in that national monument designation signed off by FDR. So we have an extra special connection to that area. That and my in-laws live there in Torrey now too. Unfortunately due to WWII and other pressing issues, funding and a budget for the monument took a couple decades to become available. Looks like you beat the crowded season. That's all starting up this week with all those undeveloped campsites on the edge of town becoming occupied almost nightly now. Safe travels!
The coolest part of your videos to me is the excellent video of the many, many places that I have tread. So many memories and similar footprints. Thanks Catherine, you rock.
Your videos are always a hoot and a half to watch Catharine. You're so fortunate to have this kind of a lifestyle, .............soooo sorry you missed your pie, stay safe and sound.
April showers bring May flowers! I don’t know if this true everywhere, but it is in that part of Utah. The altitude, which is always over 4,000’, makes for a dynamic environment. Intense episodes are usually followed by a bit of calm. I grew up in marine weather, which is much more predictable and far less dramatic. Flash flooding is real and I have encountered 6’ mud flows on what saw as almost flat ground. Best to stay hunkered down as out heroine did in this episode.
You know what you're going to try with your scrambled eggs some pico de gallo That's really good with scrambled eggs. Looks like Utah's gorgeous. 🍷🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🌹
This is why the internet was invented. These videos, and your beautifully peaceful manner are so nurturing. Merci beau coup ! (I wonder if you would consider doing a long montage of just scenery shots that are set to the great music. I'd watch for an hour, easy.)
At the 12:40 mark, since this was filmed in March, I thought you were walking toward a Leprechaun hideout where the green dot was. Beautifully shot overall and the music really compliments the scenic beauty. Thanks for taking me along.
Cat, sorry about the pie!!! 😭 When watching your wonderful videos, I'm struck by the rock formations and wonder about the erosion processes and the thousands to millions of years it took to create these landscapes. I'm catching up on your videos, so I'll be current soon.
Your sense of contentment and adaptation to the changes in life seem to always come shining through. Love the simple things in life, it's what embodies most of each our days.
Cat... Not only are your videos the best on RUclips. Your thumbnail pics are really good as well. You might not give it a lot of thought. But this one is a really good one. Am I the only one who has noticed that?? I always look. Some of those pictures are my favorite images of you. That very last shot of you coming towards the camera before it fades to black. I love it. Makes me want to go dancing with you. Have a great week sweetheart. See you next week. Love you. 🌹 Randy. 🎼👍
Cassidy Arch Trail was named after Butch Cassidy and he supposedly also might have used the Grand Wash Trail to reach one of his hide outs. Capitol Reef is definitely one of the best national parks in the West, and not as crowded as many of the others.
My wife and I look forward to your Sunday uploads. We love the camping/van life stuff but the photography is great. We can see how you set up for angles etc to get that just right pic. The scenery on both sides of the camera is always easy on the eyes. See you next Sunday.
I just remembered that I haven't had pie in years and now I want pie. It tastes so much better after a long hike, like you've earned it... come to think of it, everything tastes better after a long hike.
Stunning colors and preseñtation of area, it's moods and gifts to us as people. Thanks for the background story, history and always taking us out there with you. Be safe, be Happy, be free
Wondaful video as always. I haven't been to Capital Reef since 1995, and as my wife and I watched the video I remembered the stunning beauty of the place. "I've GOT to take you here!" I told her.
Catherine, Thank you for your beautiful videos. So peaceful! We have visited Capitol Reef many years ago. Last few days have been fast pace. So relaxing watching you adventures. You so blessed.
Utah weather varies, you can never take it for granted. I was in Utah March last year and ended up in a blizzard. I was there in May and got rained on. I was there in October and got rained and sleeted on. I was there a few weeks ago and did not get rained or snowed on. It's sometimes hard to understand why it isn't greener there with so much rain. Bring a variety of clothing, it can be cold in March, April and October. I was in Capitol Reef in May and it was plenty warm, and also very crowded. Capitol Reef has amazing colors in the rock. Oh yeah and the pie is awesome, sorry you missed out.
You always find the most beautiful places! Your footage is stunning, as always. That is the most bizarre landscape I've witnessed, ever. If I were there, I'd probably feel breathless with adoration. Our Master Creator is tops! Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. 🕊 I'd probably be moved to tears there!
Hi Catherine, I know you are concerned about the number of viewers you have & I probably don't fully understand what that means to the pocketbook. I follow your channel and am always blown away with your ability to produce beautiful video's & content to go with it. Keep up the good work, people will come! In the end you will be blessed with knowing you earned your viewers & didn't sellout to what so many others have done to get there numbers up & grow there channel so fast. You comment often about growth numbers. We want you to know how much you offer us with the beautiful video's each week. Keep up the great work! Sorry this was so long winded.
If you want great pie, just go a few miles from Capitol Reef to the Sunglow Cafe in Bicknell. Utah. The original owner, Kula Ecker, is dead, but she came up with a bunch of wonderful and original pie recipes that are still served at the cafe to this day. It is well worth a stop if you are still in the area, or worth a stop back if you have already left the area but ever plan to return to the area. Just a guess, but that is probably where the pies that are for sale inside the park come from. They are truly renowned in the area for their pies.
Another video to relax to. Soothing music, beautiful scenery and a wonderful lady doing the narration. Thank you so much ffor sharing your travels and great imagery with us.
Thank you for this beautiful video. Capitol Reef NP is quite the treasure. Anyone visiting the Southwest would be well-advised to spend a fair amount of time there. As always, the music and videography were sublime. Again, thanks.😎💖💖💖
So fun to explore Capitol Reef NP with you. I remember staying in a rented Class A Motor Home at the Fruta campground and feeling so privileged to have snagged a spot in the park, but your cheaper campsite in Torrey, UT looked awesome. I can see how making these videos keeps you company in a way because we can all imagine watching that movie with you in your "lounging room".
Watching this as I sit in my small camper in South Dakota, and have been stuck in high winds, driving rain & snow (30-40 mph with gusts to 70 mph, can't drive or be out side) for near 3 days. Hoping to see the Badlands N.P. when this passes in another day. Two weeks ago I was in that area (Natural Bridges N.M.) and we were getting temps in the 70s. Crazy weather we are having for this time of year. Be safe and hope summer comes quickly.
We keep a Marie Callender frozen pie or cobbler, usually cherry or blackberry in the freezer and if we feel like pie and nothing is close we will bake one in our oven. Great video!
That breakfast made me hungry. Beautiful colors in the ingredients. Catherine your videos are so gorgeous. The views are awesome. Your editing is great. Love your channel. Stay safe.
Love seeing your videos on Sundays. First of all you are a beautiful lady. Your voice and music is so calming. Your video skills are Impeccable. I am so jealous of your lifestyle and adventures. Be safe and God Bless.
Hi Cat!!! Always looking good...you're a natural beauty....thanks for taking us along on your outdoor adventures! Love the channel...keep up the great work!
Surprised to see that you were in Torrey, since we just arrived in Torrey on Saturday and leave on Tuesday. We drove the Moki Dugway last week and went to Muley Point. We also went to and boondocked near Natural Bridges National Monument near Hwy 95. We could see the evidence of that storm while going through Capital Reef today, but it was far too crowded to do much besides drive around. The pies were also sold out when we got to the store about 2:00.
Thank you for a wonderful video. We enjoyed spending time with you while you hung out at your campsite and the hike was gorgeous. Sorry that you missed your pie. Mary💕Fred
I love what you're doing,i have 2yrs left to pay my truck off and then im gonna get a set up like yours.its my dream to do what you are doing.i think your great.safe travels
Hello! 👋 Curious, but what movie did you end up watching? Thanks for the video footage of all the places that you visit. I get so many ideas on where to go by watching your videos.
Almost 14k views, but only 3K likes? C'mon guys! Catherine is putting a lot of effort out. It doesn't take any effort to 'like'.
Sunday morning wouldn’t be the same without your wonderful videos. Gods blessings to you
Agreed!

Great video. Consider adding a snap shot of a map showing your truck route highlited. That would be great for us ‘visual’ people. Thanks
You need to go back for pie before you leave!
Cannot wait 😘⭐️⭐️⭐️🍀😘We will watch it after dinner cooking. Canneloni Itallia 🇮🇹 🤞
Enjoy your dinner! 🙏

Some folks get up early on Sunday mornings to go to church. I get up early to watch Catherine Gregory videos. 😉😊

Spectacular scenery. Greetings from Catherine Hill Bay, Australia

There are many amazing places on this earth, and Utah is without a doubt, one of the wonders of the world.

Not much to do in a camper when you have bad weather, watching a movie is a great idea. Beautiful national park.

Beautiful and serene sceneries once again; my brief escape from a noisy city.
Catherine, Thank you for your beautiful videos. So peaceful! We have visited Capitol Reef many years ago. Last few days have been fast pace. So relaxing watching you adventures. You so blessed.
Thank you for another beautiful and calming video tour of our uniquely stunning country.

What simple and beautiful life you are living. So appreciate you sharing. I am inspired.
Capitol Reef is my fav park in Utah. Less crowded and one of the most beautiful. Happy Trails!
Spring is a comin but old man winter doesn't want to leave just yet!!!
Thank you Catherine for wonderful pictures, videos🙏🏻😃❤️🇸🇪

There are so many beautiful parks in the USA; and, your videos are superb Catherine. Thank you.
Love the Capitol reef area. Thanks for the mini vacation this morning with my coffee. It was lovely!
Hi Catherine,
I know you are concerned about the number of viewers you have & I probably don't fully understand what that means to the pocketbook.
Very beautiful place with a very beautiful lady showing us the sites
If you want great pie, just go a few miles from Capitol Reef to the Sunglow Cafe in Bicknell. Utah. The original owner, Kula Ecker, is dead, but she came up with a bunch of wonderful and original pie recipes that are still served at the cafe to this day. It is well worth a stop if you are still in the area, or worth a stop back if you have already left the area but ever plan to return to the area. Just a guess, but that is probably where the pies that are for sale inside the park come from. They are truly renowned in the area for their pies.

As always, the music and videography were sublime. Again, thanks.😎💖💖💖
Sorry about the pie! I poured a fresh cup of coffee and was ready for that part!! Have a good day!
Your videos are the most relaxing of all in utube you should have 1 million subscribers thanks
Thank you for sharing the beautiful scenery and your positive energy. Stay safe.
Wow, once again an awesome video, you are the best!
Capital Reef never disappoints! Thanks for another inspiring video.
Utah and Colorado are my favorite states. So beautiful out there.
That breakfast made me hungry. Beautiful colors in the ingredients. Catherine your videos are so gorgeous. The views are awesome. Your editing is great. Love your channel. Stay safe.
Connie and I watches your lovely video this evening 4 March. It was great!
Love seeing your videos on Sundays. First of all you are a beautiful lady. Your voice and music is so calming. Your video skills are Impeccable. I am so jealous of your lifestyle and adventures. Be safe and God Bless.
Thank you!
Namaste Catherine, thankyou for sharing Utah's natural and raw beauty, I will be passing through that area again later this year.
Thank you for a wonderful video. We enjoyed spending time with you while you hung out at your campsite and the hike was gorgeous. Sorry that you missed your pie. Mary💕Fred

Curious, but what movie did you end up watching?
Thanks for the video footage of all the places that you visit. I get so many ideas on where to go by watching your videos.
I watched Licorice Pizza. Thank you!
Catherine Wow that was so cool what a great place. Thanks for letting us hang out.
Great video Cat, you do a great job showing us how beautiful America is, thanks for sharing.👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 🚐
Your soothing music and voice helps me feel good. This is a favorite area of mine, Singletree campground very nice.
