So, feed dogs are down during this adjustment, right? Does it matter if the pressure foot screw, on top of machine, is loose or tight during this adjustment?
Yes, feed dogs down, and it doesn't matter how much pressure you have on the foot. Although I find it easier with lighter pressure since you're manually lifting the foot, it's just easier. As long as the knob has some pressure, it will be fine :)
