- Come with me to tour my hometown of the fabulous LAS VEGAS, Nevada! Explore the mob roots of Freemont Street, the hottest show in town- "Magic Mike Live", The Strip, Boulder City, Lake Mead, Red Rock, Summerlin--all in search of the "MAGIC" that this city was built on.
So much has changed in Sin City over the years- from finally becoming a sport's mecca (shout out Golden Knights!) to experiencing tremendous tragedy on Oct 1 2017, where we came together as a community to define what it means to be "Vegas Strong."
Will I find the magic? Come with me to find out, and experience the rich history from both tourist & local perspective.

Reminds me of nine years ago, when Mom and I took Uncle Richard to Vegas. He enjoyed the Venetian and it was great to get him out of Oakland/San Francisco. Good family time.

I personally feel that Las Vegas is out pricing itself to a majority of people that visit. Last September I was there and found the casinos very quiet, few people playing the table games, a lot of tables empty yet they still had a minimum bet of $15-25 to play. Also the ridiculous resort fees that are suppose to cover the hotel facilities, but any other hotel in the world the basic room rate covers the use of the pool, gym and WiFi. Vegas just doesn't seem to be good value for money anymore.
I hear you on that! The resort fees are something that people don’t realize that don’t travel to Vegas often . We definitely noticed what you were talking about on top of the hefty minimum table fee and charges for parking/ $15 water bottles on the strip. With inflation as well things definitely aren’t as cheap as they used to be in Vegas but make sure to look for a certain resorts that don’t have the fees/look for promo rates. Sometimes tipping and asking kindly for upgrades @ check in can go a long way too!! Thanks for your input and for commenting on the video. ♥️

You should check out the second half of the video where we talk about all the things that you can do off the strip. We grew up there, so as long as we knew that you wanna really avoid this trip and only spend a limited amount of time there.

Good video, a lot of work. All the drugs/crazy people around plus the costs of everything in Vegas bugs me. I remember paying for 25$ beers, Plus the BS mystery charges seam to never end. shopping doesn’t make sense even at the outlet, it’s the same stuff you can get at home for more money. If you haven’t been before go check it out maybe 2-3 times then go somewhere else.
Yeah, the Las Vegas strip can be pretty hectic! We wanted to show that aspect to in the video. Because hey, it is part of Vegas! 😂
