I will definitely make a video. I have probably painted dozens by now and I have it down to a pretty simple process of getting that style. It is very easy 🤙
@@wingatesolutions I’ve painted a few of mine as well, but none have been as cool as that! Haha. Reminds me of like a fall/autumn type camo/color scheme. Definitely going to keep an eye for that video! 🤘🏻
Excellent video. Love how you presented the information, right down your oratory skills. I definitely agree with thinking about the end user when we're assembling rifles. I've seen too many builds where someone's friend or family member can barely understand the end product, let alone shoot it comfortably and enjoy themselves in the process. Something as simple as where we put a tape switch can completely change how the shooter approaches using the rifle, and that can really matter if they want it to be a self defense tool.
That target rings like a TA target. My go to is a 11.5” with Eaotech W/G33. Ran suppressed 95% of the time. Working on kitting out a longer barreled gun to pick up where the 11.5 falls short.
Good ear! One is a TA Targets C-zone and the other is a reduced Ready-Ship from defense targets. The TA guys are good people. They are local to where I used to live. That sounds like a handy setup 🤙
You deserve the positivity coming at you. God blesses those who are humble. And the ratio of content you’re putting out to the amount of traffic you should be getting, is underrated. But hopefully picks up for you. Remember us when you’re famous, lol!
I agree, I like the longer barrels I have but I have mid-length as well. Although, not sure I agree with the logic that smaller guys might prefer shorter barrels due to their size. Before the M4 became standard infantry issue in the Marine Corps, everyone was issued the full length 20 inch. A lot of people want the shorter ARs because they think it's the cool elite operator thing to do. I cringe, not hate, I respect people can do what they want, but when gun tubers main SHTF (in a SHTF across the country kinda way) rifle is 12.5?! I don't get that. A lot of people are impressed because they've shot short ARs out to 800 and think the lethality is there. Reach and effectiveness on target are not the same thing. I want my shot to be potent and not tickle like a daisy red ryder BB gun (more like a 22LR) once it gets there.
I understand what you are saying. My reason for understanding why smaller guys like shorter rifles is more for them being handier for them and easier to manipulate. Shorter guns are definitely less effective at distance but may be more effective than a big chunky gun for a smaller dude. Its all relative.
I also have an LPVO, 12 o'clock red dot and BUIS. The LPVO and red dot are my in use optics. My BUIS is if everything else fails or is destroyed. LPVO for range and 1x scenarios. Red dot mostly for CQB and NV. Also running a PA scope. I am going to grab the PLX-C 1-8 later on and migrate my PA 1-6 to a different rifle. I am using a Reptilia scope mount with Trijicon RMR piggy back. It's solid.
I have a lightweight ballistic advantage 13.9”, SOLGW NOX-9 p&w, PSA MLok smooth top 15” rail, either WMD/Wilson/PSA lower, Aero (no FA) upper, 2A lightweight bolt, Magpul STR stock, red dot or Atibal SAP 1x prism, magnetic sling keeper, Valhalla Tactical 18350 ODA w/Phv-2 head light, and a Tier 1 Citizen bungee sling. I have watched this and your spr video 3 times each now. very informative and glad you are putting great content out. Curious what reticle you are running on your PA optics? Second would like to see you do a video on what your do it all set up would be between the GPR and SPR builds and share your preference if you could only have one based on individual variables. I’m curious based on your spr transition video if you are comfortable enough with the “weakness” in close quarters engagements using more magnification or vice Versa with the Lpvo “weakness” in longer engagements.
Awesome, thank you! For reticles, I am runnimg the ACSS Raptor BDC reticles. What are your thoughts on a 16 in vs 20 in barrel. I ask because I want to go back to a 20 in "do it all" GPR set up. The issue is that I'm having a hard time finding the 20 in barrel I want. However, I can find plenty of 16 in barrel options in stock. My preference is 20 in. for a myriad of personal reasons. Most of those reasons are centered around ballistics, and ease of wear on parts with the rifle length gas system.. Should I just hold out for the 20 in barrel I'm looking for or give in and suffice with a 16 in barrel. I don't think I would be losing too much with the 16 in. but my OCD really wants a 20 in. My thoughts are on a Cold hammer forged barrel with a fixed front sight post. My aim is on longevity and durability. More of a Service Rifle mindset. A rifle that is going to last and do everything fairly well as opposed to a high level of accuracy...... When UPS and warranties are no longer an option.
If you really want the 20", I would go that route. Especially if not suppressed. Or consider an 18" rifle length. Not too much of a velocity loss stepping down to 18".

@@wingatesolutions lol i have most of that stuff already.
