This is by far my favorite of TLJ sets, great set, and I generally like the in-universe design of the vehicle, I share your opinion on it being a very original design which I love, and it gives me nice WW2 bomber vibe.
For anyone complaining about the sets price, hear me out. 10 cents per piece doesn't mean crap, this is a set that has lots of huge pieces (The cockpit, the gunner part which is all printed. The fins, the big plates going down the middle of the set, and the cylindrical pieces on top of the ship) Also you can't forget about the 5 highly detailed all exclusive minifigures. So don't judge sets by price per. I do however think that they could've sold it at $100 but if you really care that much just get it in a few months when it goes down in price.
Nice review: On 2:02 on the helmet is written ''Crmsbg'' in Aurebesh. I'm not sure what the it says on the helmet on 2:38 as I only reconize the letter in the middle as ''B''
@7:14 I think that light gray 1x2 plate needs to be underneath the windscreen. The way it is right now the screen isn't fitting right. It looks like it is correct on the bottom one though! @4:43

Looks like a really nice and clean build, with all the play features/missiles well hidden so it doesn't stick out. Seems nice and sturdy, and it's great that it stands on its own as well
I think that the price to part ratio of this set is not very good, but I think that the price for the volume of stuff that you get is quite respectable, so I think this is a good set
These character designs look unique and very worth getting for any Lego Star Wars minifigure collector. The ship itself, looks very fun to build and a overall great display able set! This is kinda weird because that bomber that Page was on blew up yet Holdo and Poe are on it. I get they needed a set to include them in but still doesn’t make sense that the vice admiral and Poe are on a ship that blows up.
I know why everyone is complaining about the price per part ratio but that's not how Lego decides on the final price of their sets. It all comes down to the pieces themselves. Larger pieces take more plastic to make, more large pieces means higher price and this set has a lot of those just by looking at it. Also, stickers are cheaper to make and are included with it so you can apply, or not apply, them as you see fit. Printing, however, adds to the difficulty of making pieces, especially all of those rounded parts for the cockpit and gunner positions. Personally, I don't like printing, gets in the way of useful ways I can use parts in mocs unless I'm building a ship or something.

You're right, the price is least to be desired. It'll probably be easy to find at 80 bucks a month or two after release. Much like Krennic's Shuttle and Kylo's Shuttle. I always see both of those sets for 80-90 bucks at target.

Wow I love love love that hair. All the clothes here are super cool but I'm not sure how I feel about how Poe's pilot's suit looks without the mechanical stuff. A little too plain.
Great review! So far this, the Tie Silencer and the pod are must buys, hopefully the Resistance troop transport is on sale soon so I can upgrade it with the Pod cockpit
I agree with with your verdict - this is a hot ship. After the walkers review, I thougth i can pass this set also. Thougth it is only a kind of B-Wing. But after your review i realized - this is a super hammering bomber in many aspects: - construction, double sided stud-on-the-top !! (compare to 75050 b-wing, which was single sided stud-on-the-top) - impressive engines - great color scheme ! - closed turrets !! (compare to 75021 gun ship) - inside section ! (but I will remove the seat from the command room) - fantastic crew !! - enjoyable play features ! - successful fancyness Because of that, I don't care about the price much.

You placed one piece wrong on the back cockpit. The 1x2 plate is supposed to be on top of the bracket instead of on the side, and because of that the windshield isn't attached properly.
It's a squished B-wing. Still this review made me appreciate the set for more than just a rip-off of a ship that's been around forever. So thanks for doing it Just2Justice!
I like it. It's an okay ship. I just wish that the SW design team would include ships that are more like Star Wars. Kind of the Y-Wing, V-Wing, or Arc-170 type of design, if you know what I mean.
All of the new sets are overpriced and have so few figures, which really annoys me. You can get a Ninjago Movie set with over 600 more pieces for $10 cheaper, and it has 2 more figures.
I think if you fold the wings down, the smaller clip on top of the wings disconnects. Maybe it acts as a lock when the wings are up? Also, are the 2 cockpit pods supposed to come off?
I think that it is funny how he keeps on saying it is like nothing we have ever seen in lego. It looks like a B-wing with the features of a clone wars era Y-Wing.
I feel like this is one of the better The Last Jedi sets. Most of the sets I've seen reviewed so far look very horrible to me. However, I think this set and the smallest set of the line are the best ones so far. I can't wait to see you review the star destroyer set. :)

With the stuff like Star Wars that Lego doesn't actually own I think there are probably also the licensing fees to take into consideration.

For once the blue technic axels fit in and don't look out of place with something! They normally look horrible and look really obvious in sets.

A generally cool design but the two bobbly appendages are what ruin it for me. I hope you can take them off without tearing the whole craft apart.

This is an excellently designed Lego set, the best in the Last Jedi line. Lego have absolutely outdone themselves this time.
It's also probably the only Last Jedi set I will be getting. I'll just wait for the price to drop on Amazon, I got the TIE Striker for £40.00.
