Fabulous. Real family life hijacks a car review 🤣. We will probably get our 1st EV this year as a 2nd car for local trips which will get charged at home from solar / off peak power because I'm not sure I can or want to deal with the public charging system yet. As such we don't need mega range or a tank of an SUV - I'm keeping my large ICE Estate car for longer trips & holidays. We looked at the Mokka-e earlier this year. Distinctive design & different to the norm & deceptively smaller in the flesh than in photos. The boot is a tad too small for us but you seemed to manage OK. The Mokka has no sunroof option so with a black headlining & dark seats it is a bit gloomy inside. The white headlining you had does make a difference though. Other than that it's a compact crossover for far too much when new. However, as a used buy it offers better value for money & that's what we would be looking at. At least it has a rear wiper which seems to be missing on so many SUVs & hatchback these days. The E-2008 might be better proposition for us (with Pan roof) which has a larger boot, if we could get used to the tiny steering wheel setup. The E-C4 might also be an option as well but that does not have a rear wiper & neither does the MG4 - which is very dark inside with no rear lighting & no rear centre seat headrest. I'd not heard about it until now. I agree with the ULEZ in principle (I moved out of Canterbury in part due to the awful air quality), but the scrappage scheme is stingy. Interest free loans would perhaps be a more sensible solution.
One question: Wow, you charge to 100% and then let it stand for 24h? Is that an LFP battery, thought it has an NMC? I am always very careful to never let it stad with 100% but if charging to that at all, I always drive right away.
Great point! Ordinarily I wouldn't, but occasionally it's not going to do any lasting damage. It was only sitting at 100% for a few hours. Also, it's not my car! 😀 If it was my car, and if it had a larger battery where I knew I could make it home in one trip, I'd perhaps set the charging limit to 80%.
@@craigk1328 well that is a huge difference. 👍 although none seems impossible since every battery to my knowledge degradates , just differently and under different conditions

What’s the Vauxhall EV like ? And is that Elveden centre park’s ?
The Mokka is alright! Nothing much wrong with it, drives nicely enough. I know that's damning it with faint praise! We'll have another video coming soon that's a little more of a review. My first impressions walk-around video is here if you've not seen it already: ruclips.net/video/A52tXFYSq8g/видео.html
And the Center Parcs we went to is Woburn. I should have mentioned that! 🤦♂️
Fun fact, the word squirrel sounds hilarious in foreign languages but I don't know what the Italian is
I Like It!!!!!!
So Andy your a Kent boy what did you think of the ULEZ extension protest in Orpington.
I'd not heard about it until now. I agree with the ULEZ in principle (I moved out of Canterbury in part due to the awful air quality), but the scrappage scheme is stingy. Interest free loans would perhaps be a more sensible solution.
ABRP seems well out. Is it always that bad?
They updated it shortly after we did this trip. It’s actually a bit too far the other way now!
Why do you have to put your hand brake on manually ? It is supposed to be automatic (as soon as you turn off). At least in my e208.
That's a good point. Perhaps it is?! I didn't think to check!
If it was my car, and if it had a larger battery where I knew I could make it home in one trip, I'd perhaps set the charging limit to 80%.
I always charge my Atoo 3 to 100 :)
@@craigk1328 and what is the degradation?
@@tesla-spectre none. It has a blade battery,it's designed to be charged to 100%
@@craigk1328 well that is a huge difference. 👍
although none seems impossible since every battery to my knowledge degradates , just differently and under different conditions
I agree with her about the swear words
People watch these videos to see what the cars like. Not entirely sure that's correct 😂
Almost Jodorowski 😂
I'm complaining Flaviana is not swearing more :P
Where is that beautiful vineyard?
I think it's owned by Chartham Vineyard, in the Kent Downs. charthamvineyard.co.uk
Perhaps you could ask Flaviana to swear in Italian?
She did, and I didn't censor them!
