    Great review
    I had a 2017 GT 6 speed for 7 years that I absolutely loved, and just moved on to a 2024 GT 10 speed with Magnaride
    It’s an evolution vs revolution but for me it just ticks so many boxes in so many aspects, my 2017 as much as I loved it was a poor 1st cousin that I still love, but would prefer to drive this one every time
    I love it!

    $90k plus car, no front parking sensor, no 360 camera, no powered tailgate, no HUD, they didn't even reverse the centre console so the hand brake and cup holders are on the wrong side (similar to the S550), I get V8, but at that price point I'd expect a little more...

      Also with bottles in the cup holders, it would get in the way of shifting in a manual. At least for right hand drive models.

    Enjoyed the review, well done👍 however, you must stop saying $80k, this figure is irrelevant and misleading as we cannot buy it for $80k, it’s more like $97k, yes, you may say that it varies between states and dealers..but an approximate drive away cost is $97k would be very helpful.

    I have a 2019 Last gen GT and whilst I’ve seen and sat in the new GT & Dark Horse for 30k extra than what I paid for mine and less torque I just don’t think it offers enough to justify that big of a price jump. I still love it but at such a large price jump it just isn’t worth upgrading. I hope they sell a tonne of them though long live the V8.

    Thanks for the review. I’ve noticed that most American reviews have criticized the lack of steering feel over the previous model, but nothing was mentioned to support that here… did they do an AU tune for that here? Also, would be good to hear about how the 6-Speed manual is to drive. Thanks

    • @wadeayoub9799

      That's because some of the reviewers didn't know much about the car, they just get a press car & review it for likes and subscribers. On the actual steering wheel, there is a button with an image of a steering wheel. Press that & you get 3 different option settings for your steering feel. Just need to see which one you like & for the purpose you are driving for. I hope this helps.

    At around one hundred thousand on road in Australia in automatic guise the Mustang is overrated. With the centre console still not correct after the conversion and no tremec manual as standard fitment on the GT. I think Australia is still an afterthought by Ford.
    I also see no Maverick Hybrid trucks on the Horizon for Australia.

    • @jeremybean-hodges6397
      @jeremybean-hodges6397 3 месяца назад +3

      Obviously everyone's different, but I have no idea why you would find the fuel consumption to be an issue when purchasing a $90k muscle car?
      I mean, you don't buy a Fiat 500 and mark it down for the lack of rear seat room :)

    • @arno7303
      @arno7303 3 месяца назад

      @@jeremybean-hodges6397 well thats the entire point. the Mustang was a $66k muscle car in 2016, then $75k until 22 at the end of the S550 range and then jumped to $93k drive away for auto with magnaride with mainly infotainment update.
      The issue is, the cars value performance index is an indication on a prospective buyer.
      ie. there are 2 cars. both have 500 horse power, both look great, one sounds slightly better than the other but one cost $60k and the other $110k.
      The $110k uses 9.3l/100km and the $60k one uses 13.5l/100km. You obviously go for the $60k as the value to performance index is insane.
      Now, i mean... i love the mustang. im still looking at the new ones as it is a beautiful car. but at near 100k, ill probably just go proper engineering and buy a 2 year old M2 comp. lol... and it is actually 35% better efficiency and is still quicker.
      I dont think i had to explain this. i mean its a muscle car, but you still have to run the damn thing. lol... its not like its free.
      its literally $200 a week with moderate mileage.

    • @arno7303
      @arno7303 3 месяца назад

      @@jeremybean-hodges6397 regarding the fiat analogy, if your criteria is small affordable run around with back seats, yes you mark it down.
      If your criteria is small car and who cares about the back seats you dont mark it down.
      my personal, and many peoples criteria is affordable sports or muscle cars.
      otherwise i''d not bother with the damn mustang and get a GT2RS LOL

    The black calipers would indicate this is a non-Magnaride car (with magnaride cars having red calipers), so why was it tested as having them? I drove a magnaride car at a local dealer and compared it to a non-magnaride car, and I can say it preferred the handling without! My thoughts only.
