I'm glad you are here too! It can be stressful. I find lowering the barrier to entry is good...trying to keep myself at a point where, as long as I make something, that's fine. Even if its a five or ten minute drawing, and that's all I can muster.
I don't know if it helps, but in my country the word passport is also used to designate other types of passes. For example, entering an event or club as a form of authorization to "pass" in a certain way. I really liked the way you faced challenges and expanded ideas. I always thought it was too advanced a task for me as a beginning artist to take on a challenge, but now it seems like a lot of fun.

An idea for binocular, Andora creates or finds a spell or potion giving her binocular vision? For passport, could be her giving some sort of item to a "gatekeeper" character which gives her access to a special location...a library? Excited to see your Inktober 2024 journey, I'm hoping to have the time/energy to join in this year!
Great! I have a couple planned like that. I have one that will include a bunch...a cute little campsite where Andora is getting directions from a group of traveling nomads. Nomadic, guidebook, navigator, snacks...I think are all included in that one. Good too, because it will take a while!

Jawa has two eyes, glowed under the hood. Stalagmite might reach the roof and the stalagtite hangs tight to the ceiling. The binoculars might be too big for her to use both, therefore she uses only one.
Suggestion for the passport: She can get to a place where people ask her for the passport she couldn't understand what they were talking about so they show to her. BTW it'll be really fun to follow along the story being written 😍

Are there any places Andora is barred from entering? A magical item could possibly be a good substitute for a passport (though less personalized than a passport in real life, it still might work😅)
"Binoculars" as an object in your graphic design. Maybe check out "opera glasses", the small-ish glass and brass optical tech. What if, there are a couple substitutions of bark (for brass) tubes and rock crystal (for lenses)? This tactic might work some magics with said optical device to create a more 'fantasy' vibe? I am wondering the same thing. Perhaps maybe a locked section of a magical library, something like you might see in Harry Potter?
