I found out about my husband's affair in October 2018, he left after he got caught we tried to work through the infidelity we lived together for about 5 months in 2019 found he was still seeing her he left me again living with his daughter so he says, he was still coming by and doing things for me I moved in with my children still we spent time together but I just couldn't accept not living together working on the marriage in July 2020 I set boundaries by not having any contact with him Iam tired can't fix this marriage I know it's over I want a divorce I will never be the same they don't care about me I have found self love to take control of my life.

this has been helpful. I think my husband cheated on me- it is a long story- he was not a believer- he is now- as in he got born again but he is a taker however, not a giver- and not trying to obey God- whether to just walk away at this point as he is not doing his part to change anything about his self- he has refused to discuss- and he is in fact engaged in abusive behaviour over his own bad choices-
This is like a double edge sword for me, my wife cheated so I did have that question in my mind. Now you're saying that the unfaithful spouse probably didnt love them. So now my thought is " so why the hell did you commit this hurtful act if it wasnt love?? "
As a man hearing this hurts my ego even more for some reason. I feel like a marriage was stolen from me and to top it all off the reason for the theft "being in love" Is not even a legitimate. Any advice for why I'm thinking like this?
Because you are, most likely, emotionally mature. You are strong, and rational. So, hearing that she jeopardized everything for a “love” that has no future. They are selfish, they care only about themselves.
