By this video I could understand my husband wasn't the only one responsable for his mistake. I was neglecting our relationship and his need as well. So I could understand him and forgive.

This is so clear and so right on. Thank you.
But questions come up for me, like:
It’s 1 thing to know you need to cultivate certain things within your relationship but knowing and doing are 2 different things, 2 separate endeavors.
Knowing what your marriage needs and how to pull that off successfully, repeatedly - post affair, with all the same challenges holding you back… plus the weight of the betrayal - makes me wonder if it’s even
    Realistic
    Or naive
To try, hope for, want, or believe in the idea that a committed marriage may even be a possibility - especially in this day and age where willing participants are literally just a swipe or secret message away?
It kind of broke - not so much faith in my man (forgivable, he’s only human, after all) - but my faith in humanity, institutions, the family as a unit or structure within society.
Sure some men might still be capable of denying temptation, but how many are willing in those vulnerable moments, really? C’mon, now. Especially if they’ve simply learned how to hide it better or where to go to anonymize it more through getting caught.
I honestly wonder why any couple signs up for marriage at all, except to raise kids “together” like that’s an outdated sticker label we can tell ourselves currently describing more about our allocation of resources than our ability to unify as a family around cultural traditions valued only by a set of generations ago.
Do people wo come back into the fold after affairs *really* improve their union? Or simply accept that it’s an unrealistic, unattainable ideal without holding themselves to the higher standards in the face of ease or convenience of available options? Do they just relegate themselves to pretending better? Turning their proverbial cheeks to the corruption within the household in favor of it’s survival or expansion of assets?
Sorry, I’m ADHD and tend to overthink things.
This came up for me because so many of your videos seem to really put your finger on the pulse of affair situations and be able to articulate them so well.
    Thank you.

I ultimately choose to divorce my husband but watching these videos provides me insight and the ability to have empathy, understanding and compassion for my ex, not enough to stay but enough to see a bigger picture.

The crazy things also is when some people are children, their childhood is taken for many reasons which cause them to want to live out those childhood experiences of wanting what they want when they want it and being a child they can’t have it. But as an adult they can redeem themselves by doing what they want when they want.

I'm puzzled. We were doing all of the things that you mentioned in our marriage. Fun, freshness, sex different types in odd places, keeping the day to day boredom away, I don't know what happened but he started an affair with a woman who I called friend, So now what? He just began disrespecting me and staying out, sometimes for a day or two. What do you do when everything is as you say it should be but he cheats anyway?

He always committed the adultry during the best times of our marriage. I know that no relationship is without err, but it was always a double shock because he would commit adultery when all was good. 4 times that I know of. Eventually he twisted everything about our relationship and used that to villify me and use that as his excuse for his infidelity.

I’m going through this as we speak with my wife. I’ve been the one that cheated. Nothin physical but emotional I guess you could say. It’s not the first time either there have been a couple of instances. I want to talk about these things because I feel as this is wats missing in our marriage. I’m not good at expressing these things. What can I do to have this conversation

623goingnatural it means people are able to move around by car or Uber and they use it to go sneak around and have an affair, but won’t make the same type of effort or time for their wife/husband.

My husbands has been cheating on me for years. He says he want to go to counseling yet no effort has been taken for this. I’m asking if you know of any good African American MFT CHRIST CENTER HER IN LAS VEGAS, Nv? Honestly our finances or limited and we can’t afford the $175 per hour to pay your fee.

He may be a narcissist. My husband is one. They don't care about people, especially their spouse. Very selfish. Many people who have affairs are narcissists. It does not matter how good the sex is, the relationship or the connection in the marriage, they will still cheat due to the disorder.

Unfortunately my marriage went through all the 3 phases of no sex. It eventually led me to porn and flirting with women at work and fantasizing about other women and becoming emotionally unavailable for my wife.
