The concept of culture in other creatures is rarely discussed, but I think this is a good example. Orcas are so socially intelligent that entirely differently behaving populations can exist at the same time.

My man in the top pic of the "they look exactly alike" part been living that thug-pirate life from the looks of that facial/mouth scar; been eating great whites, battling kaido, and searching for the one piece!🤔
The Dolphins have found these neighbors are truly their buddies.
The two subspecies of orcas are actually different in appearance, especially on the patches and dorsal fins.
Good info. Never knew that.
So intelligent creatures like humans
The dolphins always hang with the Brothers..😂
Life is more dangerous under water
The dolphin that got yeeted lol. 😂
They don't look exactly a like
Lmfao at the first one. Tossed em like a football
lol they only look exactly alike if you're blind.
So dolphins take the term "watch out for the quiet ones" to heart.
But.... Orcas _are_ dolphins.
there a subtile differences between the appearance of those orca groups...
resident orcas have a rounded dorsal fin, a relatively strait eye patch and an open saddlepatch... transients have a pointed dorsal fin, closed saddlepatch es and downward facing eyepatches...there is a third and more elusive group of orcas called the offshore orcas - they feed primarily on fish and sharks... their dorsal fin is rounded and their saddlepatch is very faint and slim
almost every orca out there can be photographed and identified by their dorsal fin, saddlepatch, eyepatch and noticeable scars
just some information for those interested, orcas are awesome and should be respectfully treated as the number 2 on this planet when it comes to emotional intelligence
I think they are number 1 for emotional intelligence, as they have a much larger lobe that we humans don’t even have, this means that emotion is so important to them that they have a specified part of there brain for it.
@@dylanmorales450 totally, i don't know for sure but I'd put humanity up 3rd after orcas and elephants, they are both very empathic and emotional, not sure who would place 1st for sure, but they are awesome animals for sure
"but how do the dolphins know which one is which as they look the same?"
Dolphin: One eats me and the other doesn't. If it doesn't attack me then we cool.
They don‘t look exactly the same if you look close
I am a dolphin texting this from the inside of an Orca. The Orca are really smart. I think I've been tricked. Sum ting went wrong.
And the "noisy" Orcas have "Dolphin Safe" tattoo'd on their side like a tuna can.
Every one gangsta till the other killer whales start immitating the other orcas to fool them
Basically bad orcas and chill orcas
Thank you Animal Doozy, (did I spell that right?) I love any video with whales or dolphins or any sea creature. Well, I don’t watch the violent videos, it hurts my heart. I understand that it’s all part of life, but I would just rather watch good, educational and entertaining videos. So, thank you. ❤️
The loud guy will always help out if you don't show fear.
Recently research both orca belongs to different species
The real killers move in silence
It's the quiet ones you've got to watch....
The concept of culture in other creatures is rarely discussed, but I think this is a good example. Orcas are so socially intelligent that entirely differently behaving populations can exist at the same time.
Why do killerwhales swim with other dolphin species?
And I'm pretty sure that's how dolphins AND orcas view humans too: Like two separate species, one of which is dangerous, the other of which is harmless, and which can be told apart based on the way they behave. Which might explain why it's statistically safer to be around orcas on a kayak than on a yacht.
Amazing information. Thanks
Nature is so interesting
Wait till transient orcas learn to turn on the echolocation while close to dolphins
The quiet whales in the fish school
It's almost always the silent ones
Orcas are the shiftiest animals on the planet. No attacks on humans?!?!?! Not one!!!??! Yet they eat dolphins, great whites, and moose!?!? Sounds learned to me. Maybe we forgot Atlantis but they didn't
This comment went off the rails lmao
so half the killer whales are cannibals
So.... This is the dolphin equivalent to Karen's " I have black friends " 😂😂😂
Resident Orcas are friendly on Mammals unlike Transient Orcas
Wow ! And this video is very informative ✌🏾
Amazing I never knew that ❤
Truly a great display. Wish we could've scored at least one more but I'm thankful still... Look at that celebration from Dembele against a man like Xavi who fought so hard to keep him 😮
That's really interesting 🤔 I've been wondering about just this in respect to dolphins! Incredible thanks ❤
Whales are so badasss!!!!
Orca are dolphins. They dont eat dolphins, they use them as toys to practice hunting.
I finally figured that out about a week ago. There are 3 types of Orca now. I knew about the mammal vs the fish eating types. When most of us think of Orca we forget about the ones that only eat fish 😊
That’s craaaazy
Basically the pescatarians are protecting them from the carnivore diet
So basically dolphin play politics 😂
The noisy one's safe 😂😅
I love orcas
Killer Whales hunt everything that moves
Orca's are the largest species of dolphins. What you meant to say is "Why do other dolphin species swim with orca's?".
Arent Orcas and Dolphins part of the same family? Lol
What's crazy. Is that killer whale are dolphins
Intelligence of our water family 🌊🐬🌊
