Lake of Dead Languages by Carol Goodman is a little similar to A Lesson In Vengeance. Not quite “magical”, but it has to do with murder at a private school and a returning student coming back to teach! I bet you’d like it!
ok from what you said about a lesson in vengeance i think you might actually LOVE plain bad heroines!!! ik you unhauled it, but maybe give it a go? the spooky vibes are amazing and it’s got such a great structure! you might really enjoy the writing and the unlikeable characters
Really loved The Silence of Bones per your recommendation! I cannot wait to read The Forest of Stolen Girls. I’m glad you liked it-is the historical aspect still very prominent in this one or is it heavier on the character relationship?
Hi Regan. Just would like to recommend the 3 Troy books by David Gemmel. Just finishing reading all his books and there's a lot 😂 but I really think you would love the Troy books. ❤️
My daughter loves fantasy books and I always have a had time helping her find books that are like PG-PG13 rating. I wonder if you would be willing to recommend some or maybe create a video review of them?
I think what I had issues with with a lesson in vengeance is it wasn't nearly as witchy as it was made out to be! The synopsis and the whole first 3/4 of the book makes it out to be a supernatural, witchy book and the ending basically just went "actually witches probably aren't real but idk" and it was disappointing for me! Still a good 3.5 star book, the vibes were immaculate, but I was really wanting witchiness.
Commenting before finishing the video so idk yet what your thoughts are - but I just read the forest of stolen girls and honestly should have DNF’d it, I was so bored by it :((( it was a big let down for me
thank you for always making such cozy vlogs, you really made me feel better after a bad day at work!
I'm reading A Lesson in Vengeance right now and really enjoying it! Also I LOVE that you include meals in your vlogs! I get so many ideas :)
Regan, you have spectacular collections of books on your shelves. Love your passion of books even the ones coming soon. Love your book library.
I’m going through bad stuff this week. This video certainly helped take my mind off it all!❤️

Clay coming over to press one clove of garlic for your vlog is the best thing I've seen today.

Love Gilmore girls. Rewatching the show myself
“I can take it from here thank you” 😂 I don’t know why but that killed me
I think she sound like the actress who plays Sarah Lance in legends of tomorrow, she had a lovely voice, she sounds like she would make a good singer.
Regan in the beginning very much gives off similar vibes to the tiktok "Here, have some mer... Murder!" Lol

Hello Regan! I've been learning American pronunciation with you.
For YA I found June Hur's "The Silence of the Bones" interesting, enjoyable and informative.

I’ve only read the first book in this series but found A Curse so dark and lonely to probably be early teen appropriate.

Hey
Ragen gets photo/video bombed multiple times (subtitle).
Couldn't stand Ellis in A Lesson in Vengeance. She made me really angry.

I am so Team Kendall. But I do think that Kendall should not be in charge of the company and put someone else in charge like Sandy.
