This is a great MV, but there is a better vocal version. He did it live on the Graham Norton Show and just killed. He had tears in his eyes by the end. Harry said it was inspired by an article he read in the newspaper about a woman who died in childbirth. He wondered what it would be like to have a baby and have maybe 5 minutes to tell it everything you wanted it to know. When I first heard it, I thought it was about the impending end of the world. That made more sense to me. We haven't learned to take care of the planet, and now we're frightened by what we will have to do to survive. It seemed to fit the lyrics. Make of it what you will. I can't believe the insurance company let him dangle from a helicopter flying around over water like that. LMAO
Yeah this song has a pretty deep meaning I’m sure you heard about the mother and childbirth and all that so I’m not going to get into it and he actually is floating he was attached by a helicopter it showed in the behind the scenes and was actually in the air
He said in an interview that this song is about a mom who just gave birth to her child and get to know she has only 5 mins left, after that she'll die.So this is her words to her child in those 5 mins.Pretty deep stuff
The true meaning we believe is that he wrote this about something very personal to him (I won't mention what it was but you seem to have got the gist anyway). He told a reporter it was about a mother and childbirth but any Harry fan knows Harry never shares the true meaning of his songs and this was likely a cover to avoid further questions about the subject matter as I'm sure it was very painful for Harry and he didn't want to be constantly asked about the songs meaning.
I think he is talking about closeting in the industry and the riots and protests in general against criminalisation of LGBTQ+ community I think (bullets), he uses ambiguous ways and words and he never explains what his songs are about directly and talks around the questions. He has said his songs are open to interpretation so this song can be taken in many ways. So to each of their own.
@@AS-yz2iz oh I didn't know that, I just watched his live performances of this song and the way he says most of the times "for whoever needs it" when he introduces this song and one or two times he said "happy Pride" before singing it, that's why I took it that way. Thank you for telling me.

@@AS-yz2iz Thanks for speaking up. I'm genuinely so tired of people trying to explain away Harry's songs.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
