The undertones in Charlotte's foundation shade ranges are always so interesting to me. It's probably the only brand where I find myself in the neutral category rather than warm. I swatched 5 neutral in store today and it looks like it will be a good match. I'm just waiting until I finish some of the foundations I already have open before I try this and the new Nars one out.
I saw Taylor Wynns review on this and was put off buying it as it gets oily very quickly even with powdering and she has dry skin. I suspect with all the skincare ingredients, it's function as a foundation becomes subpar. I was trying to decide between this and the new NARS one, and will defo be the NARS as the finish on it looks much better with more coverage and it doesn't seem to get oily. I find when it comes to foundations in general NARS is awesome!
I wouldn't spend $44 on that. I've seen you in less expensive foundations that were a better match and coverage. I'm still loving the BM complextion rescue!
Your skin looks amazing! I used to watch you dot foundation on your face and couldn’t figure out why and then I tried it and now it’s the only way I apply it! It’s so much easier getting ready for work since I don’t get foundation all over my hands that I need to clean off. Now I get annoyed when I can’t apply it that way.
Would you say you prefer this, the new Nars light reflecting foundation or the Fenty eaze drop blurring face tint? Love your makeup for real life videos!!
Hi Lisa. Love the CT. The NARS looked good at first but then looked ashy patchy at the end of the day. I returned it. The Fenty Eaze Drops is ok. I mix it with Charlotte’s Hollywood Flawless Filter as I like a foundation with golden undertones.
This packaging reminds me of Too Faced Peach Perfect, they are discontinuing the line so I was able to get 2 bottles on sale. I just checked they have deep shades left selling @ $10. I suspect Nars Light Reflecting will replace Sheer Glow later this year so I may try it when it goes on sale. I feel like after last year was a lot makeup wise. This year they have to WOW me to make a purchase. Ex. Your review of BM Skin Tint did that for me! I added that, the Huda Foundation Stick + Make by Mario’s Moisture Glow to my cart
I have this foundation and I feel like it looks amazing for the first hour, then gets sooo oily after that. And I have dry skin! Also it has a lot of claims about how it gives you beautiful skin and that its ‘skincare hybrid’ but doesn’t actually explain why lol.

I was hoping you would have elaborated a bit more on why you feel the warm shade was not warm. Personally, I feel it's a peach warm, maybe you perceive warm as yellow or golden?

EXACTLY! CT's warms are really orange - almost like for a fake tan lol.. I'm also a neutral in her foundations
Im usually a warm but can go either way, warm or neutral but I'm definitely neutral in the Beautiful Skin Foundation 5N

Even though I’m oily AF as well, I’m dying to try this foundation for everyday not FULL coverage work days.
It’s horrible for oily people, I tried it and it was soooooo oily! Hard pass.

The shades do Jump around especially on the light spectrum for cool toned undertone.

This foundation is NOT for oily or combo skin , i tried it and it was really bad got very oily in just 1 hour and its def not longwearing :(
