I love the exposure to brands I've never seen or heard of on this channel. While I love all the OGs, there are some beautiful formulas from companies I would never know about. Thanks, Maryam, for all your hard work and knowledge you share with the community ❤❤❤
woww i really loved the rem beauty foundation!! i have super oily skin and it kept me matte and kept me looking so smooth and poreless!!! crazy how some products work for some and not for others!
I have severe acne and a lot of texture but I LOVE the makeup by Mario foundation. I do think, however, that it is very very finnicky- because it only works with some, not all, of my products.
Great video! Newbie! Your energy is amazing! 🥰 My foundation for this year is Chanel No1 perfect for my skin, I can apply it very thinly for the healthy akin look or more for adding coverage and glam look 😊
Definitely one of my favourite videos of the year!! I love the Nars Light reflecting foundation for my dry skin apart from the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Tint. The coverage is great with Light Reflecting in my opinion😍😍
Thank you!!! Would you mind letting us know which shade ps the Yensa suits you best as you had said in another video that the shade you had wasn’t your “best” match. ❤❤❤
Im testing and comparing the new CoverGirl brow pencil the clean fresh brow in pink packaging, and it compares to the super fine huda beauty brow pencil. Both have super tiny tips for hair strokes. And that's good because every brow pen I try and like to draw hairs on my brow never lasts because I sweat so much and have such oily skin it just runs off my face fast. So this pencil has the same consistency and size of the huda one I love and because it's not very creamy it's easier to draw the hair strokes with this pencil and very water and sweat resistant.
I can tell you about the Glossier and YSL. I'm combo skin, oily in the t-zone throughout the day. Glossier I only tried a sample, and it was too glowy for me. YSL is pretty nice, but not a favorite. It has a glow to it, but not too much. It's nice once powdered, but doesn't last a full 12 hours on me.
@afls93 the longest lasting would be Estee Lauder Double Wear or Clinique Even Better Clinical Serum Foundation. I have found recently that the skin tint from Beauty Blender works well too, just not as long lasting. My favorite thing to do is mix formulas and test out different combos.
The best foundation I tried this year was the Missha Magic Cushion that I picked up on Amazon for $10. Shade range leaves much to be desired, but I found a match and it's a ultra thin and skin like product that sets down and lasts all day while also remaining flexible and natural. The worst foundations I tried this year were the Kosas foundation and the Glossier foundation. Both were sludge, mucky, and messy. Thick and pastey, ultra unflattering. Texture enhancing and an absolute disaster in terms of wear.
I like the make up by Mario foundation too, it’s a nice formula and 11n is a great colour for me. I think some colours are sparkling but others not. I need an olive with a little more green and provides me with buildable coverage. My fav foundation is Charlotte tilbury light wonder #6 but it’s discontinued, always looking for a replacement.
Thank you for acknowledging lesser known brands. I’ve been using a moisturizer by Yensa that I’m currently loving. Laura Mercier’s Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation would be my top pick for the year for me, I have dry mature skin, and am Uber pale. 😁
I love both the Loreal mentioned, but i tried the new formulation of the Revlon Color Stay this year, and it became a new favourite. I really don´t understand how it´s not more hyped because it´s really good, cheap, and easy to buy (i buy it at amazon in my country, and amazon has a really small makeup product availability here). Yes i know, it´s a 2022 foundation, but as a 43 years old woman, with prone to oily skin, dry patches, eczema and fine lines, and olive undertone (latina), it´s hard to find something to fit me, and Revlon nailed it!
I’ve actually tried both versions of this foundation a couple times over the years, and I just cannot get into it like everyone else does. I end up getting rid of it every time.
I as looking earlier and wondering where your video was 😂😂😂 I’m so glad you did this. I actually have only bought tinted moisturizer , or bb cream the only foundation thst I did buy WAS THE LANCÔME TIENT IDOLE’. BOTH and my mature skin LOVES THEM BOTH !!! I have the Chantecaille cushion foundation is nice also (luxury). Your earrings. Pretty. The real ??
So hard to trust people's reviews of foundations. Skintype & age aside. I'm dying to know what people's SKINCARE routine is & do they know what they're doing. For 1. Skin prep, too much product? too little? It makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE. I think reviews need to have demands of info of what they use and how often they do things like facials & whatnot to increase the accuracy of that review. My point? You ask, is it really a bad product, or does the person 🤔 not know what the hell they're doing all together? So frustrating 😫

2 Of my favs L’Oréal true match, L’Oréal h. serum. Thanks for your videos , I like how you talk about more affordable options too .
Girl, I can’t get enough of your channel. Super obsessed! ❤ Oooh I keep seeing the foundation (L’Oréal true match) that I use here on RUclips! 😍😳
I have severe acne and a lot of texture but I LOVE the makeup by Mario foundation. I do think, however, that it is very very finnicky- because it only works with some, not all, of my products.
I love the Alleyoop spf tint!!! I use it with a brush, no streaks ❤
It’s insanely good

Welcome babe!! Is it a new one??
Thanks ❤my favorite this year is 🎉🎉🎉Makeup by Mario.
I just bought both the L'Oreal foundation.. and cover girl elf....❤
Definitely one of my favourite videos of the year!! I love the Nars Light reflecting foundation for my dry skin apart from the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Tint. The coverage is great with Light Reflecting in my opinion😍😍
Yesssss!!! One of my faves last year 🤩🤩
I can’t buy anything you don’t approve of can I?😉🩷

❤❤❤❤ great video as always
The Good Apple serum foundation works for me! Normal/combo skin, it looks so natural on me. And the shade match is perfect.
Good to know! TY!

I would love to know your opinions on the new Glossier and Mac foundations, also the YSL All Hours Foundation

Best part I like about Truematch is the actual formula and how it sits on the face for hours❤ It's a dupe for Nars!
On an unrelated note...
Your eyelashes are looking sooooo gooood! 😍😍😍
Roiiiight?! There’s nothing on them, I can’t believe I grew them out!!
shade twin! what are your shades?!

Try Mario’s 12O or 14O, those have an olive undertone

MAC Radiance it is!

I feel like I might have tried it back in 2022 and loved it too, but I honestly forgot

@@pattyann1963 they reformulated last year, this is a new version. Check the sticker and the bottle because this is a new one.

Hi dear! yummy skin serum tint or yummy skin balm powder… which one do you more recommend for oil skin?
Both
Shade in the Yensa powder foundation ? Looks amazing ! We are foundation twinsies 💗
I’m using a medium 1 over a much more yellow skin tint to balance the pinkiness. I need a medium 2 or 3
Hello! Maryam.. what real Shade you are in the youthforia foundation???😢 not 310 so? 😮
I think 330
I love makeup channels. ❤ But everyone has a filter on. So it's hard to know how it looks in natural lighting 😕❤
no filter here babe

No surprise L'oreal makes Giorgio Armani😂❤
What color in the alleyoop I know ur shade is my shade lol
shade Beam :)
🫶🏻
It's such a shame, everyone loves the true match, but every L'Oréal product I've tried, fit hair and skin has irritated my skin
Just to let everyone know if you have skin texture, pores, or anything like that don’t buy the makeup by Mario foundation it low key sucks.
I have all those problems and it works great for me. It only looks bad when I have active breakouts
@@MaryamMaquillage Ohh ok 😊I realized mine is expired so thats probably why because I used to like it
I don’t have problematic skin but I didn’t like the makeup by Mario.
What is your skin type??
