Billy, I read recently where you didn’t guide in 2023 due to back problems, you look great in the video, I hope your health enables you to do whatever you decide to do. A comment about the declining. Sheep population. I hunted in the Yukon in 1982 , there were plenty of sheep,on one late afternoon hunt my guide were on a ridge looking down at a canyon with fairly steep and broad sides . On each side there were small bands of rams of about 5 to 10 in in each group on both sides there was easily 100 rams in sight. We were four hunters in camp and each of took great rams. In 2023 a hunting editor for Outdoor Life magazine hunted that area with the same outfitter and though he took his first ram late in the hunt he and the outfitter agreed on the scarcity of sheep ! I know as an older hunter that many factors can affect populations especially weather and predation but hopefully things will change to bring the good times back. Great idea for a video to interview an old experienced guide - hunter . I,m 91 now can verify so much of his knowledge.

Great interview, with a guy that I have heard a lot about. It's nice to have a face to go with a name. I am a carpenter here in Colfax WI. I have done some work for the Harms family , I always enjoyed working for them . They are honest hard working people. I am not sure how Dennis is related to Norman Harms , maybe a brother or cousin?? Great job . Loved it

I Caribou hunted with Dennis in the early 80’s. 4 of use from Stevens Point area went. All of us got good bulls. Dennis grabbed me and flew to a lake to retrieve a clients knife the cook had left there. Got Christmas cards from him for years. I’ve had a carrier ending stroke and my daughter took over my Chiropractic practice! Joe Birdwell
