I thought your personality was amazing you were funny but very directive and instructive so ignore the ones who are negative. I am now a new subscriber.😊
Emerlie! I didn't know you had a channel! I saw your face on a thumbnail and thought, " Hey, I know you!" It's been a couple years since this video was made, so I hope you see my comment. And I subscribed. See you soon. (@ the cake show)
Just a helpful hint. Whenever I am storing fondant or I am waiting for the modeling chocolate to set up, I use my food saver. You will be amazed at how the use of a food saver will perfectly store fondant.
Golden syrup is made of white sugar, as far as I know. Agave syrup is derived from... well, agave, a plant. In this video the talk was about corn syrup, but you can use golden syrup as well.
Good old Lyles Golden Syrup. Only available in a Brit store, sometimes in the International section of a big supermarket or online. Grew up on the suff on muffins, scones, pancakes, you name it! YUM! Living in the US, but my grandchild won't eat anything else on her pancakes or waffles.
That is a good question. Modeling chocolate can be a little rough on the hands, so I would be super worried about burning out the motor on my mixer. I think it's too stiff, and the heat of your hands also helps to soften it while kneading. Mixing bowls are colder and would likely not help to soften very well. So... Probably not a good idea?
Sometimes I do lightly heat up my modeling chocolate in 3 second intervals to make kneading much easier! I have really hot hands, and still find myself warming it up first.
Nope! You can use gel colors on modeling chocolate and chocolate ganache 😊 Because they have other stuff already mixed in, you no longer have that issue!
😢😢😢 don’t understand why some people on youtub talk a lot and make their video so long for nothing 😢😢😢 all of the time I skip and look for short videos without talking…please if you want to succes on youtub or whatever make a short videos please
It is a short video. It’s only 8 minutes 😂. She’s sharing important information that she think will help, you need to learn to listen and pay attention with more patience.
You gotta get an arch in that brow. Nose tip, straight through the pupil and that’s where the arch goes. Buff them a little more too, the bold line isn’t doing anything for you, unless you want to do some lipstick. I’m a cosmetologist of 12 years. No disrespect.
thanks...very informational video.. BTW: what happened with your human eye brows...and these black lines on your eyes...it looks ugly and disturbing 😭😭😭😱😱😰
The best modelling chocolate video I've seen and I've watched A LOT, thank you

If my kitchen aid bowl is warm would it be ok to use the dough hook to re soften set modeling chocolate?
She has Jenna Marbles energy, and I love it 🤣♥️

Thanks for the advice about kneeding it.
Thank you very well explained video... Today I will be following your instructions
Could I use agave instead?
And I’m not familiar with golden syrup. What’s that exactly?

love your videos. Can you recommend which brand is best for coloring chocolate, wilton tends to seize the chocolate ?
Maybe try to use food mill
Do we use the same ratios for modeling clay ?
I only use modeling chocolate because I don't like fondo.
Fondant is garbage

what colour is better to use 😊😊😊Thank you
In my country theres no corn sirup, what else can i use?
Glucose and golden syrup works just as well
@@aliciadnotoriousdiva3906 hey thanks... I'm from SA and I struggle to find Corn syrup... so is the golden syrup the same that's used for pancakes??
Wouldn’t it will harden up if we cover cake with it and pop the cake in fridge after it ?
It depends on how you make it. The less corn syrup you use the harder it will set. The more corn syrup, the softer it will be.
Is there a way to recreate the same consistency without corn syrup?
Heyy. Can I use a mixer with the dough hook on the lowest. I don’t have much strength in my wrist to knead it well

Are you answering any questions
When you pop it in the fridge do you cover it with anything?
Search it up on google
So helpful. Btw how long it will last? And how to store them properly?
nailed it!
Won't the gel food coloring make the chocolate seize up?
Nope! You can use gel colors on modeling chocolate and chocolate ganache 😊 Because they have other stuff already mixed in, you no longer have that issue!
Can you write on modeling clay with an edible pen?
I loooove the video! Super duper helpful!
BUT, I cannot focus on what your saying with your eyebrows XD I'm so sorry haha
I’m learning so much
Booooo 💕
It would've been more helpful to tell us how long it sits, ect.
She says right in the video that she lets it sit for a few hours. :O).
I did 16 ounces of candy melts and 1/2 cup of corn syrup and it comes out sticky as I knead if from the fridge. What did I do wrong??
have a like
People are so rude. Incredible how they just spew rude random comments
I always wondered what Shrek and Fiona's daughter would look like in real life
