    The assisted jigger roll is so cool. I think I’m gonna learn that, put oj in a bottle , ask my daughter when I make her breakfast if she wants juice and bust that out! 🤣.

    Try doing these with odd shaped bottles or even normal sized 750ml bottles lol.

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  3 года назад

      11 out of the 13 pours are possible with ANY bottle. Half of the moves are just with the jigger, so the bottle doesn't matter. the only 2 moves that need a certain type of bottle are double and the assisted roll.
      The reason I had small bottles for some of the pours (I did use a 700ml for some others) was simply because that was what was at hand at the time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

  • @cryptocovered4729
    @cryptocovered4729 6 лет назад +3

    That’d be awesome. So 1 hand, 2 bottles. You pour an oz from the first, THAN an oz from the second, as opposed to the same time... say into different tins. Cheers

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  6 лет назад +1

      Michael Robinson do you mean like this. Check at 9:36: ruclips.net/video/fQ0RQL4ZRgE/видео.html

    • @cryptocovered4729
      @cryptocovered4729 6 лет назад

      Pretty much, yea. Thanks. That said, devils in the details... the only small thing is I’m looking to ‘raise’ one bottle, than lower it; to raise the next one.
      Again, Thanks. I’ll learn it your way, still.
      Cheers
      PS. I love how you break things down, and use the names of the moves... any course recommendations? (Online) Shameless self promotions welcomed:p

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  6 лет назад

      Michael Robinson I get what you mean. It's a difficult one but I'll try and figure it out and show you.
      Courses. I would suggest starting to learn the WFA Grading level routines and takijng your tests. Yellow is first, then orange green and blue.
      You can learn from me at www.flaircamp.com once a year in September or go to barschool.net for other flair courses. I hope that helps?

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  6 лет назад

      Hey Michael. I would suggest the WFA Gradings. Get started learning those routines. They are great to get better and to use behind the bar. Also, try out youflair.com They have some great videos on there for learning. Follow the world flair association for more videos to come on there soon :)

    What’s the song through the video? I’ve tried the link but doesn’t send me to the right tune.

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  5 лет назад

      Hi Sam, apologies, but I don't have the name of the song. It was a copywright free piece of music from Epidemic Sound if I remember correctly. This edit was on another computer that got stolen so I lost all the info. I've had a little look for it, but will search again and if I find it i'll let you know.

      Michael Robinson hi Michael. I'm not 100% sure what you mean. However I will put together a How To of 2 bottle one handed pours for you.

      Tom, I think he's talking about a cross-pour?

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  6 лет назад

      Alex Guerrero - that's what I thought originally but I already shared that video and it wasn't that one. I think I know which one he needs now

    • @cryptocovered4729
      @cryptocovered4729 6 лет назад

      Alex Guerrero Nope. He covered that one off, that one was a little easier. What I’m looking for is when they use their fingers to raise one bottle, than the other. The cross works for now tho;)

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  6 лет назад

      Been trying out a few different ways to do this. It's hard, but I got ya. There is a way to stop and start them alternatively, but will take some practice. I'll try and film it soon. ;)

    From one professional to another, its smooth what you do, but why is it that the European and English scene is all about flair bartending? In the States during the 80's-early 2000's flair was the scene, but after 2010 the flair stopped, so I'm just curious as to why its become so popular over there

    • @TomDyerBartender
      @TomDyerBartender  5 лет назад +1

      Hey man.
      Well, flair is still going in the US but on a much smaller scale. However, I think why it has become more popular in Europe is for a few reasons.
      1. Got Talent TV - Finland was won by a tandem flair team. Romania, UK & Ukraine all had flair bartenders in the finals pushing their status and flair around their counties.
      2. Social media - there are a lot of "pro" flair bartenders with a large following. There is even 1 guy in Italy (Bruno Vanzan) that has his own TV show called cocktail house. He's extremely well known in Itaky from this and is a flair bartender.
      3. American bartenders dont need to flair to make tips so they dont bother training and getting better. In europe we have to work harder for tips. Haha.
      4. A lot of the big flair competitions are in Europe with the biggest in London UK.
      There is probably many other reasons, but this is my opinion from what I've learnt over the years.
      Hope that sheds some light on the situation

      @Pax217man 5 лет назад

      @@TomDyerBartender Absolutely man, I appreciate the response. Although, in the States, its been my experience that people tend to tip higher if you're fast, at least that's been my experience. However its hit or miss anywhere in the industry but that makes sense why now. I'm not a big trick kind of bartender but I'll give a shaker tin a twirl every now and then. Cheers Brother!

    This isn't bartending this is just ego being bored and creating something with something out of nothing. It's cool but you're literally giving people hours and hours of hard work and body pain. For waste people's life like this
