I was there! I was one of those sister missionaries! It was such a privilege to serve on Temple Square under President Gordon B Hinckley. I really love this time in my life. I loved holding the Book of Mormon and having a pager with me. Technology was still getting there and not so fast, but it was still simple times.I called home on Mother’s Day and Chris. I had once a week to send letters or 45 minutes to go on the Internet and send an email to family and friends. These times were still somewhat simple compared to today.
