- Jordan B Peterson is a Canadian clinical psychologist, public intellectual, professor of psychology at the University of Toronto, and a real top-lobster. His areas of study are in abnormal, social and personality psychology, with a particular interest in the psychology of religious and ideological belief, and the assessment and improvement of personality and performance.
Peterson's past work examine several academic fields to describe the structure of systems of beliefs and myths, their role in the regulation of emotion, creation of meaning, and motivation for genocide. More recently Peterson released a series of videos on his RUclips channel in which he criticized political correctness and the Canadian government's Bill C-16. As a result he received significant media coverage, receiving major backlash from the radical-left.

My God this is an amazing piece!!! Thank you for providing this content to RUclips. I have learned a lot. I am certainly a liberal. But I believe that liberal and conservatives should exist in a yin yang. and I value the other point of view because that's what creates the balance.

Great discussion. It was very enlightening. The complexity of the questions and topics discussed presented Dr. Peterson with a mine field of potentially damning conclusions. Meaning that reaching for any number if comfortable positions that offered themselves to any individual who sought to promote an agenda or parrot a narrative could easily take. However doing so would be at their great peril since simple and safe answers would expose them to the pitfalls of criticism and apparent biases. He however instead navigated each answer with true intellectual mastery. He offered not only his position but well stated examples that gave insight into the mindset that lead him to adopting such perspectives.
Conversations such as this force the listen to challenge their own beliefs personally and as a society . At the very least it promotes introspection of our own beliefs and that of society as a whole. Very well done indeed.

Compared to films from inside NAZI Germany, there are virtually NONE from inside the USSR. So it's not that people don't know what went on -- but that they tend not to have SEEN it.
Communism will never work under monetarism system. That is the core problem of communism, that goes against the basic working of the money system.
Communism needs abundance to work, abundance is detrimental for a monetary system where scarcity makes things valuable and profitable.

I sympathize, empathize, and understand with the left and right ideology but I also acknowledged that in a capitalist society with liberty the overall will thrive.
Until a solution to the racial disparities in intelligence is figured out, nations with differences as such should adopt a strong immigration policy so as to protect the people. The ultimate right of a citizen is asymmetric access to your own markets.
Just because somebody is a conservative doesn't mean you're racist and just because someone is racist doesn't mean they're conservative I know lots of races that are liberal Democrats

He seems to dodge a lot of ideological questions about the right and left, using the Canadian model. He often misleads his audience by mixing the Canadian and American model of government to support his arguments . For example, he states that it would be hard pressed to find a significant amount of ethno-nationalist in Canada, maybe 3,000 if you are hard-pressed to find them, in the whole of Canada ( of course, I know from being a native born American, that the number of ethno-nationalist in the USA, is much more, more like in the millions). Of course Canada did, and does have race issues, usually First Nation vs European race people, which was and is different that in the USA , where we had slavery, land grabs from Native Americans their displacement and genocide by whites. Canada and the USA are much different countries.
