    Add some garlic and sesame oil and swap out the black bean paste for Hoisin sauce and this dish will be kicked up to notches unknown to man.

    I love baby bok choy, sad that the American grocery stores nearby only have those giant bok choy, everytime I gotta drive 30 mins to Chinese grocery store to get it.

      Kino I know. I don’t have a Chinese grocery store by me. Wall mart is the only place I can get it. Yet they never it fresh.

    Ok, gonna keep my eye out for bean sauce and baby bok choy. I've been gradually adding different condiments to my cabinet, because you've shown that it's simple and easy, Sam. I recommend your channel everytime I get the chance! Thanks for all you guys do at "Sam the cooking guy"!

      Get some oyster sauce as well. It makes any Asian dish more delicious.

    Did you wash the Bok Choy after cutting the ends? Black beans not traditional with bok choy and shrimp.

    Oyster sauce not black bean sauce. No ginger or garlic?. Come on Sam.

      How much ginger and garlic would you suggest? I bought my first wok in my life at the age of 58 LOL. Better late than never

    No salt!???

    • @JohnSmith-gq9gn
      @JohnSmith-gq9gn 6 лет назад +1

      @4:23....a tiny bit of salt. Also...that spicy black bean sauce probably has a lot of sodium in it.
