We've lost many great artists in the past few years but losing Toby has hit me the hardest, they broke the mold after him...
It's crazy, I lived through 90's country and back around 2000 you really didn't think of Toby Keith as a huge 90's country artist, there was just so many. He had a dip and then he had a resurgence and I want to say at some point he became the #1 country artist or at least live touring artist and next thing you know he's got the longevity of Brooks and Dunn. The 2nd half of his career may be better than the first half. That doesn't happen often in anything.

I had to endure my younger brothers death at 23 in 89’ along with my siblings but the toughest part was watching the effects it had on my folks after they buried their youngest child. It was gut wrenching and my life had been changed for evermore. Prayers to Toby’s Family.🙏

I'm 71 years old and my wife is 64. She is a 3 time cancer survivor. We have seen Toby in concert 5 times and every concert will always have a special memory for us. Our hearts are truly broken over the loss of Toby. He was great in many ways and will never be forgotten. He really is the GOAT. God bless Toby and his wonderful family.
I met Toby in 1997 at a concert in NC. HONESTLY one of the nicest Celebrities ive ever met.. only spoke for 30 seconds but i could sense his k8nd demeanor and attitude.. why is it always the best people who go first??? Fly High brotha!

I loved Toby Keith and always will. It was my pleasure of meeting him at a Kmart out here in Las Vegas back in 1993/1994. What a great guy to have ever met up with personally. Pretty cool! He was here in Las Vegas promoting his first album! He was a great guy to talk too! I cried when he died. And found out about the cancer. It’s sad! 😞 🥲 but at least he’s in no more pain and in a better place.

As a man this just breaks my heart ,hearing about Toby Keith passing away from this terrible disease , Stomach Cancer ,and any Cancer that's taking away our family and friends !! And something seriously needs to be done about this major problem now, with all these life threatened diseases , and I think the main thing what people need to remember, about Singer Toby Keith is that he help support soldiers ,and Open a children cancer research center, and helping there families With the medical costs and housing !! What a kind comment you made. Toby was a kind man. I watched an hour’s long interview that took place fairly recently. You could tell his body was deteriorating but he had a great spirit. He talked about the OK Kids Korral that was built through his foundation. He said that he couldn’t hardly take going there as it was very difficult for him to see the sick children. I looked it up though and what a beautiful place for families that will continue on through his foundation. He did a lot and will be sorely and greatly missed.

Tobey Keith passing has been hard to comprehend. I haven’t ever cared about celebrities of any type . But Tobey Keith is more then that . He represents more then just being the greatest country Artist ever . Hes someone to truly admire and lookup to . America lost a huge part of it with Tobey Keith passing . Rest easy Mr. Toby Keith. Your music helped me make great memories. I got to see him live finally in 2018. I remember as a kid hearing him on the radio and litening to that station all day seeing if they would play it again. When I saw him live it was just awesome. What a performance and also he was a gacious man and thanked the crowd for coming out, and you can tell he meant it.
What a talent and even though I didnt know him personally, by all accounts he seems like a great man to those around him. May God lift up his spirit and may he have peace with Lord Jesus Christ. Condolences to his family.
