I used to like her until
I saw these interviews. She is insufferable. Justin Baldoni is the class act. She is a bully
What part about that interview made you feel any kind of way? She’s human and a damn good one so……
@@shannonfrancesconi2715 He may be a bully…
I still like her. i dont see where you got all that.
Blake Lively should not have played that character this role was too deep for her.
Agreed. And it's like hardly anyone dares to broach the seriousness of the subject because she's so flippant about it. She had the opportunity to show her compassionate and empathic nature by not glazing over Domestic Violence but instead she stays quiet until she can burst with happiness over something frivolous. You are right, she's not that deep. More like disgustingly fake.
playing ANY character is too deep for her. her ambition is bigger than her talent.
@@celestialtres Deep as a puddle is what they say. lol
Exactly
It’s a Colleen Hoover book …..
Notice how Blake wanted him to change the subject to talk about Atlas…let the man speak!
And not spoil the movie! Lol😂
They are definitely trying to downplay the DV theme and make it about Atlas and Lily
@@nattitv45 ya even though they barely spoke about him once. There is no story without Atlas. It's like she's talking about a completely diff story of plot. 😀
Wow, Blake tried to stop him from even mentioning DV or Justin Baldoni’s character!!! I’ve never seen an actor or actress try to erase the discussion about another MAJOR character to punish and erase the actor who plays him. This is a level of narcissism from a celebrity that is shocking. And the actor in this interview looks scared of Blake. In fact ALL of the other actors look scared of Blake in interviews. Her representatives need to tell her that this behavior will not age well. Taylor should be a real friend and tell her!!!
Wow Justin actually bought the rights to the movie and was the director. Yet, he isn’t mentioned, because she doesn’t like him and he’s not in any of the interviews although he is the LEAD actor. She’s a piece of work.
Why does she speak like she is the director and she takes credit for everything?
Because they let her . That’s why people find her so cringe and are canceling her everywhere. People are saying that this is the reason why her and Justin had a fallout
@@arlevale i remember there were some rumours Leighton could barely stand her during the gossip girl series. I thought it's only rumours at the time but i am starting to believe she is overbearing..
Maybe she is confusing the power Ryan Reynolds, her husband has in Hollywood, which is a lot, with her own creative authority. People, especially actors, are afraid of Ryan because he has the power to destroy careers so they are afraid of her as his wife. That actor looks terrified. Even Gayle looks perplexed by what she is observing. Blake deserves real credit as a producer & the director has acknowledged that in interviews, but she was not the writer or director.
Ryan & Blake are trying to ruin the director Justin Baldoni. Let’s see what happens the next time he tries to direct a movie. Will they sabotage him like they are doing now? They may succeed, which is really a shame.
@arlevale maybe they let her because they know it will be her downfall, so they're free from her 😂
@@dionnebennett5455 when did Ryan become this powerful - i really was not aware of his status...
I’ve heard her say 3 times now “ Amalgamation of contradictions, masculine and feminine… literally memorised answers.
Yep, it is definitely rehearsed so that people will think she is intelligent. It does not flow naturally.
Also a woman of multitudes, roller coaster of emotions 😭😭
Blake talks in circles
She says a lot with actually very little said.
And she doesn't leave high school with that way of being.
@@donnadea3081she says everything and nothing at the same time
Word vomits in circles, word vomits!
Blake is not a very generous person. She always wants to talk first. The interviewer isn't even finished with her question, and blakes mouth already goes wide open, just to already let everyone know she wants to speak first. She also talks very long often, not giving the others room to speak too. She also fills in the answers for the other co-actors sometimes. She is desperate to talk, to hear herself talk. I also noticed her co-actors already sit back with a question, not even trying to answer first, because they just know that Blake wants to talk, and they let her, even tho it obviously annoys them (seen in other interviews)
- also, she talks about Lily Bloom as if the character is the invention of the century. Relax kid. There has been absolutely more powerful characters than your Lily with her flowershop. And when her co-star starts to talk about the real message behind the movie, she seems both annoyed and bored. It's all over her face
Series MAID was infinitely better regardingnthe main topic and the main character in it.
@@AA-iy4gm I 100% agree with you!
You can tell she really didn’t read the book and about domestic violence.
This been a bizarre marketing campaign for a movie that should embrace the real issue
Justin Baldoni, the director and other lead always discusses it in every interview. This guy just repeated what Justin Baldoni said before.
We should interview the director and author instead of Blake Lively
Actually it should be maybe all of the cast or least three
What a tone deaf PR campaign . The movie is about domestic abuse.
Why didn’t Gayle mention or ask about Intimate Partner Violence? It was bizarre. Justin Baldoni, the director & other lead, addresses it in EVERY interview, which I think is less manipulative & more respectful to the audience.
Then to have the actor who plays Atlas just mumble repeat things that the director said in PREVIOUS interviews was also bizarre.
Did they tell Gayle not to say the words Domestic Violence? Why did she agree? She’s usually a very thoughtful interviewer, What is going on here?
And Blake Lively is a big bully!!!!
I watched it 20 minutes ago. And I can't believe she talked this way on her promotion tour. There are so many things to say about this movie, especially because her character wasn't beaten by her father. However she saw her father abuse her mum and boyfriend. And then, it impacted her as an adult. It is so out of touch that she didn't address it. Her character is not about dark or white as she describes it, she is a victim first that finds the courage to leave. But she is a victim first, not just a resilient woman
The guy speaking gives me the first inkling the movie is about DA. Prior to him speaking, there was a lot of talking about nothing.
but of course they had to talk about Taylor Swift lol
Why is everyone interviewing her? They need to interview the actual director - Justin!
She was the Executive Producer. Which means she had a lot of control over the making of it.
People think a director would have more control but a producer gets the money to make it. It all depends on what each person did. The director might have just directed it. While Lively did much more which she did in this case.
She got the name and fame for the movie. The guy is getting a lift on her and is not grateful - it seems.
why would'nt they interview the lead in the movie?
Bring in JUSTIN?!
Whoa. The guy who played Atlas just repeated everything the director & other lead Justin Baldoni said in EARLIER interviews. Almost word for word. Like he wasn’t willing to express his own opinion at all. He was just voicing an echo of what Justin Baldoni had said before but Baldoni said it with more conviction & depth. AND Justin Baldoni shared info about DV organizations.
Blake is so far from the point of the movie!! And yes they can have "creative differences" but not include him in the promotion even the movie poster, erase him from the interviews just avoiding the topic and making Blake the "Creative force" behind this is so beyond ridiculous. He cast her for the role, he is the director who gave you so much respect and space... she thinks because she and her funny husband, came with money and influence she deserve all of the praise. Sorry but people is not dumb. AND don’t forget the real people that are living this situation every day that need tools and need this topic to be talked about.
-------Blake, please wear your florals, next time when YOU ACTUALLY DIRECT THE MOVIE.
Tell’em girl!!!! ✊🏽
It. Is. Not. A. Love. Triangle. It is about a woman who is a victim of DA and if you ever are rooting for Ryle, you are not understanding the message here. Disgusting.
What is the message ? Look for another man instead of getting divorce as your husband is abusing you..
So she go to another man without getting divorce..that is disgusting right
@@ManjuNath_00 she’s not looking for another man. She was fully committed to Ryle and continued to stay with him even after he was abusive. The message is to LEAVE the toxic cycle of abuse. Did you even read the book series? I’m going to guess by your naive reply you didn’t and have no idea what this series was supposed to represent and how terribly this cast has misrepresented it.
@@brittdaisyxo I do agree that I have not read the book but could you shed the light on presence of "another man"...
Even though I have not read the book but let me go and say that there is some intimate moments between her and another man as it is one women and two man story ..let me know if iam wrong
@@ManjuNath_00 there is not any “intimate moments” between her and atlas. There is absolutely no cheating at all. She finds safety at his house after her husband tries to r*pe her. They don’t even sleep in the same room. Why are you even commenting on something you know nothing about? Please watch/read the series before giving false opinions on it. Thx.
the author romanticise violence.
Why was Justin Baldoni not invited this interview ? He is a main character and Director of the movie.
Well since Justin is not in any of the interviews, I won't be watching the film, seems in authentic and disrespectful of the whole film's work and process put in by all the actors to bring this story to the forefront. To the others enjoy.
Wouldn't you be open to knowing why he wasn't there? Maybe there were some difficulties, or he had a conflict. It's still a finished work; not about the people who played the parts.
The director & other actor Justin Baldoni IS doing individual interviews about the film that do address DV and are really interesting. His interviews are by far the best. This guy just repeats what Justin Baldoni says but Justin Baldoni adds more substance. They are worth watching. We rarely see men speak that candidly about DV.
@@jillsalkin7389 Ya I would. It's possible. There could be other reasons true. There's also Ryan , maybe he felt insecure abd taken aback by the string connection she had with Justin. Maybe there was fear in that from three of them.
Like you, I refuse to see the movie.Blake turned it into a romcom about herself. This is a very relevant subject, DV.
Dude barely got to really speak .she couldn’t wait to speak over him
did we watch the same video? the interviewer went back and forth asking diff questions to them both. blake spoke over him ONCE then immediately apologized and let him finish. could you put in the timestamp where she interrupted and spoke over him? if anything, it seemed like blake listened intently to what he was saying. y'all out here hating for no reason
@@KrayfishGalaxyi was looking hard for this comment! These keyboard Warriors are wild
No offense, but Blake Lively's acting was HORRIBLE. She was just herself. She should not have been cast in such a pivotal role. There are so many better natural actresses. Blake Lively cant act, she acts like she is an amateur trying to be an actress in theater school. For such an amazing book, this was a bad choice.
she was never a good actress! she's one note. that's it.
I agree, her "acting" is just being herself, which is Not interesting. But, I gotta say, WAS this book that Amazing? Most people said the book wasn't even written well.
Thank you. She should never play serious roles. The movie was not good it felt rushed!
Blake proving the air head blonde, no thoughts in head stereotype so badly here yikes
She’s a brunette naturally.
how? what did she say?
Bruh, she really stole so much from the director. This isnt just a romance story, it's a story about growth im sure. Growing out of the toxic cycle. Why does she stray from that so much. shows she doesn't understand the story
blake is the director ? she talking like she made the wholeeee thing.
She was the Executive Producer. Which means she had a lot of control over the making of it.
@@SnowLeopardForevershe was one of 4 producers
Man this host read Blake like an open book, didn’t give her eye contact at all while Brandon was speaking so she won’t interrupt, she did anyways but not as much as she wanted

the one time blake did interrupt him, she apologized right away. could you give a timestamp where she actually talked over him? Wym the host didnt maintain eye contact? she did when she was asking her the questions. yall wanna hate on her so bad

I adore Blake but all this drama with Justin is making me look at her in a different light ...
Drama?
@@Gregory-Peck the whole cast unfollowed Justin Baldoni and they all refuse to talk about him in interviews. They wont even mention his name. Hes doing the press tour alone
Why? It fits perfectly with Lily and Ryle's falling out.
@@jennafox8556 that makes zero sense because actors should not be treated as characters they play on screen....
@@ginac.6567 They are doing countless interviews to promote the movie.
“Pretty”? “Intimate”? Movie. Did we watch the same film???
It was Impacting and Powerful. It was profound and deep.
She ain’t the director y’all
I saw the film which we thought would help domestic violence victims but since seeing these interviews im disgusted with Blake not even mentioning the real problem.
We need to shut down domestic violence. A topic that’s hidden because of fear, shame and embarrassment. It’s easy to get frustrated, upset and angry 😤 But respond without force. It’s hard to the find words, to agree to disagree or find a commonground . It Ends With Us ❤
Y is the main character RYLE not in the press??? He had more of a role in movie than atlas. Does anyone know?
Apparently there was a lot of tension between Blake and Ryle.
The other actor is the director and has been doing interviews that are much better than this that really challenge men to think about Domestic Violence. The actor in this interview literally says word for word what the director Justin Baldoni says in earlier interviews. But this actor looks scared to even say anything. Is he a DV survivor? Like what are we seeing?
Highly recommend looking into Justin Baldoni, the actor who played Ryle.
Beyond being an amazing person and long-time activist for other things, he seems to be the only one who's stayed true to the theme of this story and promoted awareness of domestic violence. Disappointed that others are not doing the same and are instead treating this like a RomCom. It's not at all aligned to the theme of this story, and it feels really dismissive to domestic violence victims and the issues around DV. Knowing Baldoni, his history, and the way he seems to be handling this "tension" or disagreement (whatever it was), it's very clear he is the only one staying true to what this movie should be centered on and also fully educating himself on it, especially with his collaboration and advocacy for non-profits (No More) involved with domestic violence.
@@dionnebennett5455 It honestly felt like Brandon Sklenar didn't do his research and is just saying what a PR person told him to say or copying Justin to cover up. Really disheartening - this could've been a really impactful marketing campaign, if it wasn't so misguided
@@bridgetcurrie8300 I think he is saying what he’s learned through the experience of working with Justin.
BL is commandeering here. Unable to share the power of the moment between the three of them and forcing her energy in the interview. Truly “powerful” women know when to dominate a situation. This was a conversation really. So it came across more like neediness. A lot like MM
where did you get that? she let the others talk w/o talking over them, keenly listened while her co-star was talking. and apologized right after she spoke over him and let him speak
She’s a bully. She won’t be let him talk about Justin’s character without dismissively interrupting so he stops talking about Him. This is disturbing
could you give me the time stamp where she interrupted her co-star talking ab justin? just bec everybody's hating on someone doesn't mean you should too. the one time she did interrupt him she apologized right away and let him finish. so give the timestamp to support what you said

Speak for yourself, Gayle!
I never wanted Lily to be with Ryle. 😖
It was always Atlas. ❤️
Don't be jealous guys when a person is successful. Being mean is not a good thing nowadays
Yeah.
Shoutout to Brandon Sklenar for actually talking about the DV situation in this film. Blake fails to mention it in nearly every interview.
Why is there no mention of dv???? This interview is completely tone deaf....
Where’s Justin???

Amazing that within 2 weeks, Blake Lively and her two children cameoed as Deadpool variants while looking forward to the premiere of "It Ends With Us". BTW, I read half of the book (16 1/2 chapters in) before seeing a Thursday night preview screening at my local Hollywood Palms movie theater.
Brandon Sklenar is giving a great interview
Not one mention of Justin Baldoni?!?! By anyone?! Justin is the one who bought the movie rights and was the director and also a producer. He gets what this movie was about. Justin deserves so much credit and these two aren’t giving it. Very disappointed in Blake. It’s concerning that Justin (who played the abuser) is the vocal advocate against Domestic/Intimate Partner Violence yet Blake (the female lead who was abused) is making this more to be a rom-com and missing the mark on the message.
ATLAS- you have the most beautiful and kindest eyes I’ve ever seen. Im in love with you. Crying my heart out. 😢🥰❤️

I think Blake is very high energy and just excited to be a part of something she is passionate about. I dont think she is aloof or arrogant. I think she is happy and enjoying life. I find her refreshing and people should just be less judgemental.
Wow Blake takes over the interview. Poor guy 😂 she needs her own interview 😂😂😂 that’s why you don’t produce a movie you are going to act it it. Looks like Blake has a chip over her shoulder since she clashed with the director Robert Baldoni. Blake where’s the old you?

I don't think it's fair to judge someone and hold them to the same level of understanding over a particular struggle to someone who has been through what they haven't. Obviously, Blake has never experienced DV first or second hand. You can tell she is just doing her best to relate to the character as best she can but it's clear she doesn't understand the gravity of her character in the real life world. It's like asking someone to know what it it's like to have a disability or disease they never had and them having to pretend they get it because they're supposed to. I notice Blake Lively always dresses up and is always very stylish with her outfits and accessories whenever she goes on interviews, public appearances, and tv shows. I like her best in The Age of Adaline and A Simple Favor.
She styles herself!

Why is Justin Baldoni not in any of the interviews? He was really the main male character.
Blake Deadly clearly doesn’t care about the primary focus of the book/movie. She only cares about the aesthetics of the movie, the music choices, and ostensibly herself. Lawd I love her co-star’s subtle reactions to her incessant and narcissistic drivel🤣 The not so subtle reactions in other interviews are HILARIOUS! Way to go Dead Lily and Bloom Pool!
She is giving me Meghan Markle vibes. 😒
Meghan Markle always has something OF SUBSTANCE to say. This Blake Lively never does.
yes, world salad with no substance.
It is clear that Blake Lively's performance lacked commitment and dedication to the cause of the movie. Her sarcastic and snarky responses, along with her out-of-touch behavior, demonstrate a lack of professionalism. Her focus on unrelated topics instead of using her platform to raise awareness about important issues such as domestic violence is disappointing. Lively should have used her influence to provide resources and support for victims. It's important for someone with such a big voice to do better and be more responsible with their platform.

They should have cast the MAID actress for the movie. She did absolute justice to the role and it was a perfect depiction of a DV survivor and how she rose above it. MAID truly inspired me. If ever Justin makes a sequel would want him to cast her.
Blake is 40yr old highly delusional; unqualified for this role. She butchered the role and can't stand by her utter nonsensical drama on and off.
Absolutely agreed!! I thought the same when I watched the trailer of It Ends With Us.
I’m surprised Taylor didn’t just let them play her song without there being an expense. Is that not how it works though?
She’s annoying
Watching this interview, I would have no idea what this movie is about. Sounds like promotion for a romcom or light romantic drama.
Blake really messed up this great opportunity to bring awareness to DV.
She repeats these same answers in many interviews like exactly the same words .. weird
Love Me Some Brandon Sklenar
Okay ~ so here we see an initial early unbiased reaction to the film and Blake Lively BEFORE the clear snub of director and lead actor Justin Baldoni. The backlash towards Lively came about as karma - a reaction to her ‘mean girl’ actions. Had she and the cast been a team as a whole with director Baldoni I do not believe there would be the controversy going on now. It came back and boomeranged Blake Lively. Karma.
I want to see the movie. Eventhought, it's been close to home. I've been married 3 times. To abusive husband's with a temper and physically abusive! It is the goodness of God that my fourth wonderful husband God gave me is sweet and kind and loving❤
How can they not even know what the characters represent or define their characters?? In such an important message and book for the DV population… it’s just shallow of them
