she basically tried to turn all the cast/sycophants against Justin...to try to ostracize him...like when Blake and Parker Posey mean girled that journalist who dared ask about costumes in a period piece. They wanted to try to force or pressure Justin to give up his ownership of the sequel rights through intimidation.
Justin bought the rights. But also wanted a female gaze on the film. He wanted blake. And he thought he got too much to do with both diracting and acting in the movie. He said he thought blake livley could direct and that she was ready for the next film. And that he dident know what he was thinking of both diracting and acting.

I will always respect and love Justin for being awareness about DV… Nearly almost lost my life to an abusive ex. He did an absolutely amazing job, highlighting the real issues in society. DV is a very serious matter.

Justin didn't really do anything wrong, there were just disagreements between him and Blake, and Blake made things look so that Justin would look like the villain and she could live out what she had planned with Ryan, which was to appear together at the box office to make more money as a married couple in the movies of the moment. According to reports, there is more about Blake that we don't know yet.
You hit it exactly. Ryan pretends he’s joking when he’s being mean, but he really not. It’s like he enjoys it. And because she’s been around that kind of twisted humor, she started doing it too, - only she can’t pull it off and she’s just outright rude . She enjoys making people feel small.

Not sure how this film could be described as a romcom .
The book starts with Lily at the funeral of her father who was extremely abusive to her mother. It ends with us the title is based on Lily being pregnant leaving her short marriage to her abusive husband, so that their child will never see the abuse she herself had seen.
Lily will allow her ex to see the child and he has a good relationship with the child.
Apparently it’s partly based on the Author’s own Mother story. The author can remember bad things that happened when she was three, but had a relationship with her Father with some good memories. Her father also had problems with alcohol at one time.
Strange alcohol was promoted for the film. Alcohol plays a major part in D/V
promoting alcohol when alcohol is such a contributing factor in abusive situations - extremely bad choice.

I am a bit of a seer. E.g. I see right through people, I can see their auras. And I never liked Ryan and Blake, ever. But nobody cared. Blake is one thing, but it was that Ryan that always bothered me. He is extremely unfunny, his humor reeks of jealousy (check the video where he interviews the guy who plays Atlas), and there is something wrong with his eyes. I always thought he was gay. My husband loved Deadpool. I forced myself to watch the first movie, and I really couldn't stand him. He came off as arrogant not funny to me. The only time Hollywood is entertaining now is when this sort of expose happens and we get to watch these ridiculously overhyped, over payed entertainers get a reality check. Other than that, Hollywood is just boring now.

The plantation wedding fuss is ridiculous. The plantation is beautiful and what happened is long in the past. Ppl love visiting these gorgeous locations. I can see why it would bother some ppl but that's no reason to insult the current owners.

I totally disliked Gossip Girl and hence never got on the Blake-adoration-train. I just don't get the hype about her. I get that people envy her nowadays for her seemingly perfect family life and businesses. But Blake on her own to me is just a very bland tradwife. Also the entire "we weren't involved while making Green Lantern"-shtick is complete bs as we all know!
The fact that Blake promoted her alcoholic drinks line during promotion of a movie about domestic violence is mindblowing to me. In more than 50 percent DV cases alcohol is involved. This is a new level of LOW!

I never liked Ryan and his work. He's humor has an arrogant vibe. His facial expression in his all movies were the same. I find him arrogant. Blake lively was the same, She is stuck the wit gossip role. Like in the movies she played, she was the god's given gift with her beauty and style fashion then men should go gaga on her. She' s too boring already. I love Scarlet Jo and I love one Ryan in Hollywood but that's Ryan Gosling.

No one should mess with Justin Baldoni, he is so sweet and dedicated to his craft. I loved his preoject 'Man Enough".
The part that frustrated me the most was learning that the writers were on strike when this happened so if ryan did in fact "write" parts of the script during that time he did it illegally and without the consent of the writers. You do not touch an artists work without their consent or knowledge.

I tell you this, at the start of this year I had a friend who went to acting school in New York, he said that they were filming a scene from the movie IF right in front of his school, I don’t remember, he went to Ryan Reynold manager and ask if he could go up to him ask for some advice and a picture, the manager said, it will all depend on him, so he did, and I think he did give him the advice but when asking for the picture he walked away ignore him and left, my friend said he was kindda rude about it, in all honesty after that I kindda suspected he would get exposed for being mean so something, no surprise here lol

Justin is a very talented and kind actor. Whatever others to do for trying to downsize him, they will end up polishing his name more shining.
I haven't been a Reynolds fan for a while now- he comes across as a guy who laughs at his own jokes, and nobody else gets the punchline. The older he's gotten, the less funny but more obnoxious and almost controlling he seems. Never bothered with Blake- she seemed nice enough, and is Taylor Swift's bestie is all I knew. But the debacle of her new film, and ostracized of the director and Co producer and co star, and the flippant way that Blake had been behaving- in interviews, advertising etc, AND the emergence of interviews, showing her arrogance and mean side...it's leaving a sour taste in many people's mouth. Justin, has been a true gentleman, not criticized anyone even through this unraveling and message behind the film, is obviously upset, as he took the project on because of the dv part, and remains consistent about the film, but after this has said he won't be returning to direct the sequel. They took his passion project, tried to make it something fun, and then presented it as if he was the problematic one. He gets more of my respect.
@0.50, oh there we go, why am I not surprised that he doesn't like a more successful partner, and wants to have a say, in Blake's project. I was not surprised to hear that Ryan rewrote a key scene. During the writers strike so, he crossed the picket line. The Karma, is coming back to haunt them. She's been rude, put more of a flippant angle, on the story, and then tried to make Justin sound problematic, with the whole "fat shaming", claims. With the story of how they met and got together...it is NOT looking good for Blake and Ryan. But I do feel that Ryan has a lot more of a toxic personality. I now wonder if the film is closer to home than previously thought.
I think it's also a testament to Justin, that when shown to focus groups, his take was more liked and therefore was the cut released. So again, he took the dv issue to heart, thus wanted a female perspective, and stays true in interviews about the message, without saying anything negative about Blake. That's a rare, gentleman. Not surprised Ryan wanted to get involved. I hope that people realise, that the screenplay had been completed in time, but with Ryan's rewrite during the strike, it shows that he doesn't care about the writers at all.
Those two don't care about anyone, they only care about money and their own well-being.
