All the tanks in my opinion should be called “Fragboxes”. You guys should be known around the hobby for these tanks, they are truly something. Therefore naming them all “fragboxes” and then an addition like “Fragbox Pico” “Fragbox Mid” “Fragbox lagoon”, could not only give brand recognition but also leave room for expansion into different sized almost nicher tanks. But that’s just me! The Fragbox Tide maybe?
I prefer that as well. Pretty sure he is going with reef casa based on the rebranding of the aqua knight lights they sell. Similar to what reef breeders did with them.
Bit of a long name for the tank but i think it rolls off the tongue nicely; My tidal garden all in one (Aio). Definitely a great idea for those who want to have a frag tank with limited space, also pricing for these beautiful pieces of art is extremely good in my opinion. The biggest set back in this hobby i think for most is the initial setup cost, because of this many people cant aford to get into the hobby. But with a bussiness like fragbox whos making an effort to get more affordable tanks onto the market it warms my heart. No one want to see the hobby die away, reefing Definitely has been a challenge but personally it has done alpt to bring peace to myself and my household. Thank you for being a hobbyists in the business. Come at you all the way west on Vancouver Island 😊

If you give the tank range a different name, you're then starting from 0 whereas saying you're buying a Fragbox Lagoon has a catch to it. For the smaller one Fragbox Tide does have a ring to it, if not even just going by Fragbox serving as the smallest scale would sound good. Fragbox Shoal 6.0 !!!!!!! Definitely love tide!! Sounds original only thing close is tideline tanks which is a brand name so not the same. Would look great the all new Fragbox Tide 6.0 or 6. Another one you could use could be Fragbox coast 6.0 or Fragbox Shoal 6.0. I like it because it’s a synonym for shallow. Fragbox shoal 6.0 is my favorite. Definitely want to purchase one of these guys they look awesome!!
Its a small tank so the tidal pool does not really apply, more of a tidal puddle or rock puddle perhaps? Other names I suggest are: Frag box hexa Half cube Shalow reef nano
My mom's visiting from Ontario and after seeing my tank now, she's thinking of getting into corals herself :) The 12 gallon box will likely be her first tank. She'll have help on demand though :) I showed her how to use the refractometer today :)
March, you should look into creating overflow covers with skimmer teeth to raise the water level in your small nano tank displays, especially with the 6 gal tank, people are going to want every drop of water and shallow tanks look real nice with the high water level. I found after market ones for my IM lagoon 25 gal but they are bulky and okay but compared to something simple like 3D clip on option, could be game changer.

I was thinking it would make a great quarantine tank for corals. If the larger one is still the Studio 12, maybe Studio QT because it's a cute little tank.

You want to pick a name that will allow for expansion of the line should you decide to offer different sizes in the lagoon style. You also don't want to have a name that could potentially limit a buyer's imagination on how the tank can be used, nor do you want too many different names as you are going to want to build brand recognition. I like that you chose to call your tanks The Studio (as it would open up the possibility for resale to other lfs/keep the 2 enterprises separate). However, I would not start a completely separate name/line and would put Studio in the name. For example: Studio Splash Studio Tide Studio Shallows If Reef Casa is your line, call it "The Cabana". Just my 2 cents and best of luck - can't wait to see you do a 30-40 gal peninsula (hint, hint😉).
I like FragBox. I think your store name is actually genius. I would name the aquarium line after the store. Tide pool is too long and reminds me of tide pods lol. Which is a subject we dont even want to touch lol

If you ever make an acrylic fragbox tank, it will be for portablity to go to swap meets, maybe even make it with sealable will be " fragbox light..."..agree with Fragbox .. something name.
Grov garden. I would use that 6 inch tank as a great mangrove tank with some cardinals and maybe gobies. Can you do a not aio but just a glass box that can be drilled would Love to add that to my already set up system

It would be strange to not call this beauty anything other than the "fragbox". First and only thing that comes to mind.
The tide pool. Super shallow, and can often find anemones off the southern coast in California in the tide pools.
The way March was holding the tank it reminds me of my 5 gallon jug...Maybe naming it "The Jug"?

It should be called a lagoon. Typically these are shallow areas of reef in the wild where fish come to rest.

I like “Atoms” for this small but strong tank, which means everything.
Low tide sounds pretty cool, I liked "lagoon mini" but someone already said that. I love the new tank though need to release it soon so I can buy one!
How about "Spare" or "The Spare". Double word play, its your spare reef tank and its like a spare bedroom to word play off your other Studio tank.
