Yep! There will be a few, but running on standard gauge. Still a long way to go for proper BG though. It takes crazy amount of time and money to custom build everything, but I love thee prospect. 😎
Great video with a lot of good modeling information detail! It’s good to see another video from you it has been a couple of months. Looking forward to the weathering.
Thank you! Good to see you my friend. Yes, I needed a break from RUclips to focus on making models. RUclips often sucks a lot of your energy without you realising it and I needed to refocus on my real passion which is making models. 😀 Thanks for stopping by - cheers!
"Great Job" Kaustav! I´m looking forward for the next Part! Again a very educational movie mate. Kindly regards from the german alps, Olli alias "DER Z-CRACK" Modelrailroadvideos in scale Z (1/220)
great work. really like your focus on details. Any chance you have done a video / blog on 3D printing Indian engines and coaches. How do I add rails to them and make them functional. Also, it would be great if you could make the 3D models you might have created available. Thanks.
Thank you! I am actually working on a 4mm scale NDM6 that will be made into a video showing every little tips and trics - starting from DCC, sound, painting and detailing - Expected to finish it by March, so the video should be out in April. The models are already available in Shapeways: www.shapeways.com/shops/pegasusdesigns?sort=price Thanks for looking and stay tuned for new content. Cheers! Kaustav
The problem is these are all personal project for friends. I will see if something comes up soon(ish), will definitely prioritize that, quite some folks asked for it so fingers crossed. Thanks for stopping by.
Kaustav, thank you for taking our modelling to a higher level with such an informative and learned video. Can you advise whether using Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% instead of Acetone be an aternative? Appreciate your assistance and keep producing fabulous videos, Mike.
Thank you Mike, I am glad that you found the video informative. I think the decision between IPA and acetone depends on your purpose really - acetone is much more aggressive, so if you are working with smaller parts or materials like ABS, PLA etc, acetone is almost a 'no no' (there is a concept of 'acetone bath' for these, Google it). If you are dealing with chunky resin 3D prints and you want faster result, 99.9 proof acetone is the way to go, IPA cannot break cured resin so easily. The best way to proceed is to try out your options on a scrap piece with both the chemicals and a combination of the two to find the best option for yourself. For all these 'custom' methods your own experiments are invaluable - just exercise caution since these items are not fun stuff if mis-handled. Cheers! Kaustav
@@TrainsandDioramas Thanks for the words of caution. I will proceed carefully before trying out anything that has been untested. Again, Cheers Kaustav. Mike👍
oxide red RAL 3009 you can create using as a base Humbrol 20 paint. It is gloss so at first add of talc is necessary, than add black matt and Humbrol 37, 70, 85 or similar until you will be glad at it is good to have a piece of old paint from an old railway car to compare colors other way is to use anti corrosion primer in oxide red color
Hey thanks for the tips. The prototype color is not really oxide red, it is a maroonish brown. Plus the color matching for the decals did throw a curveball. Ah well, you learn as you go. :) I will keep your tips in my kitty for the next time. Cheers and thanks for stopping by.
Every time you upload a video, I jump up in Joy!
I am so glad to know that! Thanks man!
Now waiting for more BROAD GUAGE MODELS 😁😁

Hi! You look so cute. And do you have your own 3d printer machine?
Thanks! Yes, I do have 3D printers.
Why you didn't use casnub bogies of Indian Railways?
Because the prototype I made didn't use them. Thanks!
What is the full colour kit price ?
Sorry, what colour kit? I mixed the paints to obtain the shade of brown as shown in the video
