    Run a 8 tooth sprocket on your driven side of the TAV and a 60 tooth rear sprocket. Will give you a 7.5 : 1 ratio and you will get plenty of torque and top speed of around 45 mph.

      Hey buddy, I have been playing w/ the gearing on my daughters bt200x. You say #8 in the front and #60 in the back? The bike is a pig with stock gearing.
      Can you give me the science behind your ratio? I am really trying to understand these smaller engines. I am use to street bikes.

      Mo 13 i just tried several combos and that seems to be the happy medium. Has plenty of wheelie torque and good top speed of about 42 mph. Good enough for me to have fun on trails. My daughter has a Ct200 u that has a 72 tooth rear running straight off the centrifugal clutch and it will hit 45 mph but has less torque than my BT200X. I have a torque convertor and hers has the clutch

    Maybe instead of lifting the entire engine when that bolt almost made the hole you could take a good round or half moon file and file enough to get the bolt in? Maybe it wont work but worth a shot i would think

    Hi. would this work on a 79 cc Predator?

    • @RockieRoadz
      @RockieRoadz 3 года назад

      The shaft on the 79cc if it is 5/8" u could get the adapter to 3/4" but the motor is only 3.5hp so it might not activate the Tq Conv. well enough, you'd likely need to change the Tq Conv springs in front and rear, ones that flex easier, to allow the lower horsepower to activate those springs to expand and properly work.
      That's my thoughts. But I bet there's a uTube video on the 79cc and if a torque converter works.

      Washer are not machined so good luck not cracking the block. I used 4 machined spacers then slotted with grinder half the chain guard tube for assembly to fit with tire moved forward. Then notched out plastic cover that only 3 of 4 bolts fit unless you make access for 4th bolt.

      I laugh every time someone calls it a heat shield. And I know it's not nice but it is clear that he doesn't know what he is doing. He should have watched a few of the many videos on how to install one of these before doing his video. There's even a video on how to do it without raising the engine. The process is the same for this newer bike as the older CT200's.

      I can't get over people calling a cvt clutch system a torque converter.

    • @Backin_Theday
      @Backin_Theday 3 года назад

      @@tac836 yep, I don't really like the term either because they are a CVT but they are also a torque converter. Not all forms of torque converters are hydraulic. These CVT do not convert horse power, as that is a measure of linear force, but since torque is a rotational force they are definitely converting that into work. If you use the term constant variable transmission, you lose the non-technical people, so sometimes you have to use their preferred name for things. However the blower housing extension exists to direct air around the head and is incorrectly called a "heat shield" by many because they are idiots.

    • @Deucealive75
      @Deucealive75 8 месяцев назад
