Really enjoy watching your channel. It takes me back. I was a plumber for 45 years but now retired. Your work is very neat and your approach is methodical. Refreshing to see
Nice neat pipework to that beast of a shower. Worth spending the extra time on kit like that 👌🏻 Looking forward to seeing the finished shower in action. Well done on 5k so soon Mark 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
"when you open the box up and you're presented with something like this...your arse goes a little bit..." Spot on! That did look like a beast! Cheers for showing us and looking forward to seeing finished article!
Honestly mate.... I sat there for ages getting my head around it, you can’t go in al guns blazing with a shower valve that on its own is over £1000...... let alone the rest of it!!!
Great bit of kit those Plumb Thumbs. Worth every penny. Beats any black marks on carpets(we've all done it... I have an absolute horror story involving black sludge, white bed sheets and white walls..) If you ever do spill black sludge on carpet though... Leak detection fluid... 😉
Yer I was surprised how well they worked, not sure how long they will last until they start cross threading but at £10 a pop they are worth it for the larger rads when working on your own👍🏼👍🏼
One of the main reasons I wanted to become a plumber is to test myself....... I'm just glad I had the pleasure to see you doin one of them showers first. 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
@@richardsedorski1206 Oh i see.....hopefully at over £1000 for just the valve it will last a bit longer than a few years, HansGrohe stuff is usually really good
That is a monster shower, love the pipe work and the bends, very neat, much respect. I also enjoyed the radiator swap, I have to swap two rads in my house for larger ones also repipe to Increase from 10mm to 15mm for better flow, I may need you??? An excellent film as always and a pleasure to watch, I am pleased for you that the channel is growing very fast, well deserved. I look forward to the next film, take care, regards, Chris.
Fair play mate doing that shower think would of ran from that that’s why I always ask the customers for links of what they’ve got first before I commit myself 😂. Just bought some of them plumbthumbs. 👍🏻
Mate, that shower Jesus! I’ve done loads of Different ones but that looked like you need a corse to go with it lol !! They keep making them more complicated I swear and normally there bloody rubbish and expensive! 👍👍 keep up the good videos ( even tho I don’t understand how you get the time !!!)
Thanks mate….. yep it’s a bit of a monster shower that took some reading through before I started fitting it… but it should be a great install when finally done
Question. I Have a radiator 700mm x 1500mm single panel. Its seen better days. Wife wants to swap it for a double panel. What size rad would you recommend. Thanks.
That shower looks savage 🤣 just shows slowing down and taking time to read instructions is well worth doing especially when you fit showers made by nasa 🤣 Great install looks well neat with the bends 👍
LOL......I could imagine a customer ringing me to ask if I could pop round and fit a new shower valve that they have just bought and turning up to the job thinking it will be a straightforward swop for the old one and seeing that monster sitting on the floor.....😳😂😡🙏 Cheers mate , well done on 5k subs....👍
Do you mainly use poly pipe ? Any probs if coming off say speed fit or hep that’s already fitted ? Do you use the poly pipe inserts in the other manufacturers pipe when switching ? Interested in giving it a go. I usually use hep20, Do you think it’s any better ? Thanks
Some beastly showers out there these days lol. Seen one of them but never fitted one. Looks cool but I bet it ain’t cheap to repair in years to come lol.
What am I missing in the US. The mains go through the I box to set the temperature then through the diverter. Where are the stub outs for the shower heads
The main hot and cold on this unit go into the shower valve, then out the valve to the i-box. The shower head fits directly to the I-Box on this setup. I had to read the whole book before starting the fit to make sure 👍🏼👍🏼
hahahaaaa......i always go over the destructions when fitting something im not familiar with, and this is a monster, i think the 2nd fix will be alot worse!!!

Another great video Mark.. can I ask did you drain down system to change rad or just turned off at rad valves and swapped over? Thanks
Thanks mate, luckily all i did was shut the valves off as the new rads was the same fixing points

If you don’t want to much hassle altering pipes then keep it as a 1500mm long and maybe a 450 height,
That shower looks savage 🤣 just shows slowing down and taking time to read instructions is well worth doing especially when you fit showers made by nasa 🤣
