    Brilliant podcast - many thanks Jon, Orlando, & Sir John :-) Loved your call to advertisers to realise they're in the entertainment business and should drop thinking of people as consumers and start thinking of people as their audience. 'Entertain for Profit Gain'!

    Great listen! We are certainly in a state of flux, big emotional advertising is still a big factor to success on certain channels, but when we help brands to connect on social with audiences in an authentic way - it often defaults to them wanting us agencies to adapt the big emotional ads. This doesnt really work anymore (unless it involves big social personalities / hype products). Im interested in the comment relating to the living as a focus works best , in social terms we've seen this as uncrafted creative ;-)

    My brief takeaway: Advertising should be a business of “advertainment” for people/audiences not consumers.
