Chinese Lion Dance is a traditional dance form that is performed during cultural festivities and events. Choy Chang (採青) is a traditional part of the Chinese lion dance that literally translates to "plucking the greens". During the performance, the lion's mouth is used to "eat" a head of lettuce, which symbolizes good fortune, and then spit it out to spread wealth to the audience.
