Hi Melissa! Thank you so much for all of your amazing videos! I’m a self taught metal smith (up until recently.. I finally found a place in Chicago that teaches!!) and I’ve learned so much from you. I do have a question for you though and it’s right on point, I recently used a pink rubber wheel on a silver piece I was trying to polish and it turned black! I thought perhaps I may have been going to fast so I slowed down ~ still ~ same result. I cannot remember the brand but I’m pretty sure they were “Eve” from Rio Grande. Any advice? Thanks again!
    Teri

Hello. How capable are these of removing material? Say I'd need to remove about 0.5mm cut in a little 1mm ball of metal, but I need that to bee clean and precise, followed by deburrding, chamfering, polishing, etc. What is your recommendation?

These accessories leave a smooth surface and remove material at a slower rate than say a more aggressive accessory for grinding quickly. You would want to start with the coarsest grit for removing more material and move to progressively finer grits to leave a smooth surface.

You keep saying "respirate" when you mean "breathe in" or "inhale". Respire might be okay but respirate doesn't work there. Thanks for the overview of the various options. It was very helpful. Have a nice day and be well.

The childishness of your reply astounds me, some of us are beginners and do appreciate Melissa's friendly demeanor.
