I ultimately decided against the famous triple hex spot and just went with a simple flat area I found. That uneven terrain was too much of a turnoff for me personally.
Vanilla is 4 bases... I don't know how anyone manages that. I imagine some people do. But I have my limit set to 8. It was 7 before this update. I know it goes up to 10 I am limiting myself for future updates. I could likely make use of 10 bases now. But here is my base setups... 1. Main Base: It's in a fun location. No longer offers any resource purpose but built a cool building, and I have all my production and storage so I can bring whatever resources here and produce any product. 2. Mining Base: In a location with natural Iron Ore and Coal Ore was important before you could even build resource stations with those ores. Still is useful now and I put almost all mining pals there. With a crusher and few smelters etc. So mining and bar/palladium focused. Even though there are natural nodes I'm still putting the Tech ore buildings there for many of the ores etc. 3. Ranching Base: Tons of ranching for resources. Also has natural quarts nodes with a few mining pals. 4. Oil and Sulfur Base#1 : Pretty much what it sounds like. Heavy electric product in order to satisfy 1-2 oil miners. 5. Oil and Sulfur Base#2 : Pretty much what it sounds like. Heavy electric product in order to satisfy 1-2 oil miners. I needed two bases like this for more oil. 6. Battle Base: Just the strongest pals I have out in a flat field for summoning those battles from the tablets. 7. Cake/Breeding Base: Two Breeding stations, and tons of farms and this is where I cook cakes etc. 8. Hexolite Base: I might be spelling that. But I don't actually have the base yet I'm here watching this video and I might choose that 3x and 1x Oil spots. So thanks. Be building my 8th base soon!
@@Verlisify I get it! Trust me I do. But listen my slaves got to work for me. And just having four slave bases ain't cutting it! lol I'm not serious about the slave stuff it's just a meme of this game is it's absurdity and to a degree cruelty. Peta would not support this game. lol To me this game is like American Pokemon. You got to guns, and listen we don't care about being green in this game. No amount of bases and pollution is too much. It's cool to build epic bases all over. I try to treat it like Satisfactory. I don't like having to relocate bases either. So a lot of bases were built before certain game features existed. Even still four is not enough. I think your suppose to add more than four. The game had the same limit before adding like 2-3 entirely new tiers. Finally I think it also comes down to time. Sure building more bases takes time. But you save so much time in the long run. I can let the game idle and collect resources. Making the game more manageable for people who work a lot or have families etc. But yes I basically consider it cheating to a degree using custom settings. If anything this might be the kind of game that the devs wish to make more bases vanilla. But are more or less limiting the default more due to performance or stability issues. At least until the game is 1.0 and they know what they can or can't get away with.
Hey btw I haven't seen anyone talk about this but I found some new tech on hangyu in ps5 terms as it appears when gliding press L1 and u can get basically a jump and occasionally a massive jump and if u spam X and L1 then u don't gain or lose hight u just levitate and I personally feel like u gain momentum
For my feybreak base I ended up picking a flat area next to a cliff that has a spot for collecting crude oil, I was going to scout out a better spot but since I’m just running around there at level 38 right now (went to the island at 35 to grab eggs), I think that should be good for now, and I’ll expand the base limit later if/when I want to set stuff up for these resource nodes. Also when I’m at a level that stuff stops almost one-shoting me, lol.
i remember when the last update came out, there's a pal you can breed and butcher for a ton of oil each time. so, with the newest sulfur and coal updates, base selection is more about view and building area
There are 3 easy ways of getting chromite. One is supply drops on fey break. Second is doing dungeon raids. Third is going to the mini bosses caves on fey break they have 2 to 3 chromite spots in there. If u have smokie with u or out one of the two. (My friend told me this). U will get 300 instead of getting 50 per chromite spot
Its possable that its locked behind u beating a specific boss tower. After the update some things were locked behind those towers and if so then there should be text over the mine saying what tower.
Coords for Triple Hexolite Base -1063, -1424

Wait till u learn you the game allows you to build, you know with foundations
@@heavenlykarisma its still a headache tho, lets be fair here x)

I'm big on using the custom rules to unlock this game but just adding bases to solve all your problems is lame to me

ok less cringe if its not about progression but putting more pals to work

Been doing that since capturing my first galeclaw on ps5
it's been like that since release

I wish u had shown all marked locations, instead u were talking about other things... Despite this it helped a lot, thanks :)
Nice
Where's the location of the first one?
Omg I cut that part of the video out -1063, -1424
I only restarted because of the new difficulty mode
so i parked my new base on that 3 node spot, i did NOT know about the oil node. im built on the lower part of the other side, so i don't get the oil.
How do you build a base there. I get the “couldn’t beach so returned to box”
Got a question abot the new update. Rn im lvl 38 but Im unable to unlock the lvl 2 ore mining site for some reason. Do i need to start a new world?
no
Its possable that its locked behind u beating a specific boss tower. After the update some things were locked behind those towers and if so then there should be text over the mine saying what tower.
Is it bad to have 10 base unlocked
Just play how you want to play, it's about having fun
seeing the exploration progress on that map hurts...
Dam this pokemon game is lookin weird, what region is this?
I wish I can met you and I love your videos 😅
how do you do terraforming?
Terraforming as in clearing the trees and putting platforms and ramps for the basebuilding around it
The chromite is the worst mechanic. It's just not fun
Its not bad at all, especially for a high tier resource. It can't be free
